Pedro Algorta: Finished his schooling in the U.S., where he received a Masters in Business administration. He came back to South America and is the director of the largest brewery in Argentina. He is married to Noelle and had three children; two girls and a boy.

Roberto Canessa:Continued studying Medicine, he is married to Laura, and has two sons and a daughter. He's considered the best pediatric cardiologist in Uruguay. He ran for the Uruguayan Presidency in the 1994 elections but lost.

Alfredo Delgado: Is married to Susanna, and has four children. He still limps on the leg that he broke in the crash.

Daniel Fernández: Runs one of the main companies of computer science of Uruguay. He is married to Amalia, They have two children.

Roberto Francois: Works in Montevideo and he passes the weekends on his small farm. He is married to Graciana, and has four children. Today he is rather unwilling to discuss his time on the mountain.

Roy Harley: Works as an Engineer for a Ink Plant in Uruguay. He is married to Cecilia Surraco, sister of Laura, Canessa's wife, making them brothers-in-law. They have two children. He takes care of all the business that involves the 16 survivors.

Jose Inciarte: He is married to Soledad and has three children. He received an agricultural engineering degree and runs the largest dairy product plant in Latin America. In 1994 he won a share of a $2.5 Million New Years Lottery, which he split up with 11 family members who helped to buy the lottery tickets. Here is a news report about it.

Alvaro Mangino: Works for a multinational Company. He is married to Margarita and has three children.

Javier Methol: Having lost his wife, Liliana, on the mountain, he assumed the care of their four children . He remarried years later and had four more children with his second wife. He works for Phillip Morris.

Carlos Páez: After the traumatic experience in Andes, he spent years dependent of drugs and alcohol, which led to his divorce. He has two children. He is the vice-director of an advertising agency.

Fernando Parrado: He took over the family company , transforming it into the biggest manufacturer of hardware in Uruguay. He got into television production, and produces four programs weekly. He is married to Veronique and has 2 children.

Ramon Sabella: Works for two auto firms in Uruguay. He remains single.

Adolpho Strauch: He is married to Paula, and has three children. He works on his farm. He keeps strong bonds with his cousins and the group of survivors of the accident.

Eduardo Strauch: Works as an Architect, and is very requested in Uruguay. He is married to Laura and has three children.

Antonio Vizintín: He owns a plastic plant and several other companies. He had been married but his wife passed away, from his marriage he has two children.

Gustavo Zerbino: Is Executive of a pharmaceutical products company. He is married to Paqui and has four boys.
