I am an OUT transgendered professional person. I'm a trial attorney in Houston, Texas, where I practice in the areas of criminal defense, divorce, wills/probate, and on the cutting edge of TransGender(TG) law. I also continue to practice civil engineering as a licensed professional engineer. I am currently in a Legal Same Sex Marriage that has lasted for more then 25 years.

Upon coming out in 1972, I lost my military career, and first marriage. When I went full-time in '76, I lost my engineering position but kept my spouse. I then went back to get my Law Degree using GI Bill benefits. During this time I also lobbied all Elected officials in Houston to remove the city's cross dressing ordinance. (Houston code, Section 28-42-4) I have spent most of my adult life fighting for the rights of GLBT people, Women, and People of Color.
