Trillis Cottage

sketch of Trillis by Serena Beard

Situated in a romantic Cotswolds Valley
a genuine 19th Century brick cottage

Gloucestershire is one of the most beautiful regions of Britain, attracting thousands of visitors every year from Britain and abroad and Trillis Cottage is in one of the most beautiful parts of this region, loved by Arts & Crafts painters and writers, including Max Beerbohm and part of Queen Victoria's beloved 'Golden Valley.'

Trillis is perfect:  located halfway between Cirencester and Stroud, off the A419  -  7miles from the historic Roman Centre Corinium (now modern Day Cirencester) and 7 miles from Stroud. Trillis is close to many historic towns and museums:  15 miles from Berkeley Castle, 20 miles from Gloucester andCheltenham, 30 miles to Bristol and Wales, 40 miles from Bath and Oxford, 70 miles from Stratford (and half a mile from three or four very very good pubs,: all in different directions,  if you fancy a walk, instead!)

Share our little piece of paradise!
