Model Science Software Model
Science Software is dedicated to developing advance simulation software
for use in education and industry. They are currently developing a number
of technologies and applications. Including their chemistry lab simulation
software, known as ChemLab for Windows. This site features simulation software
like ChemLab which has six different Chemistry experiment samplings that
can be downloaded at the site. Comes in Win 3.1 and Win 95 versions. Perfect
for those distant education situations where physical labs are hard to
arrange. This virtual lab may be the alternative answer.

Chemical Abstracts
This is an incredibly useful database, but unfortunately, it
cost big bucks. You might check to see if a business or university will
help with the cost.
Maryland Collaborative For Teacher Preparation from the Univ. of Maryland.
Tom is a big Web presence in Chemical Education. His syllabi,
notes, and a daily log of recent classes are included in the

JCE: Software is the branch of the Journal of Chemical Education
that publishes instructional computer software and videodiscs. JCE: Software
isn't just about software; it is software--one or more disks that contain

or laboratory.
Clemson Chemical Education Site
Clemson University is the host institution for the American
Chemical Society Division of Chemical Education's Examinations Institute.
The Institute produces "traditional" paper-and-pencil examinations for
high school chemistry, all undergraduate chemistry courses for majors (and
several for non-majors), as well as placement examinations for entering
freshmen and for graduate students.

This article briefly describes WWW-based hypermedia and how
it can be applied in chemical education. The discussion addresses use of

educational hypermedia.
Global Instructional Chemistry
Welcome to a new concept in the distributed teaching of Chemistry.
Over the coming years, these pages will be built up to include small "stories"
or case histories illlustrating modern chemistry in action, liberally dosed
with "hyperactive" molecules which you will be able to rotate, measure
and generally play with. The content will include chemical problems suitable
for tutorial and classes, a page where you can log-in to suitable on-line
information databases, pages where you can acquire programs and other software,
