Pumping a Home-Made Foucault Pendulum.

The pivot of the pendulum is driven vertically up and down by a loudspeaker. Details of the loudspeaker mount are shown here.

The loudspeaker is driven up and down electrically by a relay and a 9 volt dc power supply. Details are here.

The relay is controlled by a 1 Hertz square wave whose frequency is controlled by a quartz crystal clock time base. Details are here.
