This website is like a book of short stories about adoption. It is a collection of links to websites describing personal adoption experiences. The websites represented have been created by those who have experienced the joy of adoption. Each story is unique and wonderful. The authors of each website share their story with you in hopes that you will develop an even greater appreciation and understanding of the adoption experience.
After reading some of these stories, you may come to agree with me that every child conceived on this earth is a wanted child. The difficulty lies in overcoming the obstacles that prevent a child from being united with the family that wants to love him or her forever. I hope these adoption stories will somehow serve to bring a child and a family at least one step closer together.
I have divided the categories under the two main headings of Domestic Adoptions and International Adoptions. I have further categorized the Domestic Adoptions by the specific adoption situation. I have not subdivided the International adoption heading at this time. These categories are subject to change as the website develops. The definitions of each type of adoption may be subject to change as well. If you have any input or suggestions for me regarding these matters, please e-mail me.
