Friesian at Stud

DAEN
(Jochem x Lindgerd [Ster] - Dagho)

1982 Black Friesian Stallion

IMPORTED FROM THE NETHERLANDS

Cooled shipped semen available.

DAEN is 16.3 hand, imported, Friesian stallion and has been described as majestic - fantasy horse - gentle giant. With his shining black coat, long heavy mane and tail and fetlock hair, he represents a horse of the greatest royalty. All descriptions are true. His bold, high action trot and rolling canter are combined with an attitude and disposition that allows him to be used as a school horse or just ridden by children with a halter and lead.

The Friesian is the ancient Dutch breed that charged into battle under armored knights as seen in the movie "Lady Hawke". Friesian horses can only be black allowing only a small white forehead star.

DAEN stands at stud to mares of other breeds for an amazing crossbred. He has been bred to Arabians, Appaloosas, Tennessee Walkers and Morgans. This year he will breed not only these breeds but will add an American Saddlebred mare and a Pinto Half Arabian. This cross adds the size wanted in the performance arena and the action and style needed for dressage. These horses are excellant driving horses. Their temperment is wonderful. They are all friendly and willing to please.

DAEN has a limited book as he turned 21 in 2003.
