The Society has 7 specialty sections:

  • Clinical Sciences:

members include physicians of all clinical specialties, dentists, and nurses (with university/college nursing education).

  • Laboratory Sciences :

members include laboratory physicians, biologists, chemists, or pharmacists with experience in an area like general laboratory diagnostics, toxicology, immunology, genetics, pathology, physiology, cell or molecular biology, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, drug development.

  • Epidemiology:

members include scientists with university/college degrees majoring in clinical, molecular, or general epidemiology.

  • Behavioral Psychology

members include behavioral, clinical, school, child, analytical, or developmental psychologists.

  • School Health Education

members include public health educators, school hygienists, school nurses, preschool health educators. 

  • Social Sciences

members include physicians specialized in social medicine, social workers specialized in helping addicts, public health nurses specialized in smoking cessation, social psychologists, medical journalists, art designers specialized in health education.

  • Law Practice

members include physicians with additional juristic education (M.D./J.D. or M.D./L.L.D.), or attorneys at law and judges with professional experience and interest in health issues.
