Monument - London

The Monument in London, built by Christopher Wren between 1671 & 1677 to celebrate the rebuilding of the City after the Great Fire in 1666, I took this before climbing the 311 steps to the viewing platform, on your return to the ground and as you leave, you are presented with a certificate of proof that you climbed the monument.

Taken looking down from that viewing platform 133ft above the ground, the Monument actually stands 202ft. To get to the Monument, use either Bus 15 or the tube, the Central, Docklands and Northern Lines you'll have to walk through from them on underground link walkways to the Monument Station, as the Circle and District Lines only stop there.
