SureFire E1 & E1e
Produced by Surefire

The E1e is the smallest flashlight Surefire makes.  It produces 15 lumens of light
for 90 minutes from 1 SF123A lithium battery.  Very small and light, the E1e is brighter
(15 lumens) than a 2D cell flashlight and fits in the palm of your hand!
The E1 & E1e both use the same lamp assembly and single SF123A battery
so they are both equal in brightness.

The E1 is an older version of the E1e.  The E1 originally came with a non lock-out tail cap,
a round bezel with lexan lens and a pocket clip attached to the bezel.  The E1e has a hex shaped bezel,
lock-out tail cap, a removable pocket clip attached to the body & a pyrex lens.  All current selling
E1's come with a lock-out tail cap and the pocket clip is permanently riveted to the bezel.

The newest style KL1 LED bezel is optional & produces ~25 lumens for almost 1.5 hours on the E1(e).

This is the E1 with an E1e (elite) hex-head bezel attached.  The advantages are pyrex lens,
greater water resistance & the hex shape keeps it from rolling away when you set it down.
If you prefer not to have a clip on your E1 then you will like this bezel.  You can also grip
the body better with the clip out of the way.

The E1e is much smaller than the E2, making it easier to take with you wherever you go.
The E1e is a little bigger than the (Luxeon Star) LED driven ARC LS.

This is a comparison shot between the E2 (w/E2e bezel) with MN02 @ 25 lumens
and the E1e with the MN01 @ 15 lumens.

This is a comparison shot between the stock E1 @ 15 lumens and the old style Surefire KL1 @ 17 lumens.
