The Surefire L5 is a Digitally-Controlled 5 watt LED flashlight.  It uses digital current regulation circuitry
to achieve a constant level of brightness for the useable life of it's 2 CR123A size batteries.
L5 runtime is the same as for the L4, 65 lumens for 65 minutes, followed by 25 minutes
of moderate output with diminishing brightness thereafter.
 

The L5 is a KL5-5 watt LED bezel on an M2 body, the M2 body has been relabled "L5".
The L5 has a combat grip body style enabling you to use this light more comfortably with a handheld firearm.

The L6 and the L5 both have deep reflectors!  The L6 has the deepest, giving it the most concentrated hotspot.
The L5 is right behind it though, with the L4 with the smallest reflector and the most diffused beam.

C2, Z2, 6P and D2.
