Oklahoma's Green Country

    Northeastern Oklahoma is an area rich in culture and historical significance. Here are just a few of the attractions, events, and festivals in this area.
     World Renowned OK Mozart Festival in Bartlesville,OK. This festival regularly features nationally known and world renowned artists such as Itzak Pearlman and Yoyo Ma.   
      Woolaroc Art and History Museum. This is the former country home of Frank Phillips, the founder of Phillips 66 Petroleum. It is a huge complex with many natural and Native American artifacts, furniture, historical items, walking trails, live animals in a natural setting, no visit to Oklahoma is complete without a trip to Woolaroc.     
    The City of Claremore,Ok is home to the Will Rogers Memorial, the   J.M. Davis Gun and History Museum, and several other museums and attractions as well as many fine antique and collectible stores.     
     Coffeyville,Ks is a town rich in western history. Coffeyville was one of the original cattletowns that ranchers from Texas drove their steers to to be sold and shipped north. It is home to the Dalton Museum as well as the Brown Mansion.
   
     All of these attractions are within 30 minutes of Rabbit Run and just a drop in the bucket of the things to see and do in this area. Green country also has many fine lakes and excellent hunting and fishing. Lake Oolagah is just minutes from the Inn with boat and jet ski rentals available. The city of Tulsa is just an hour drive away with several fine museums and terrific shopping opportunities.
