This website is dedicated to Rachel Joy Scott. Rachel, along with 12 other victims lost their lives April 20, 1999 at Columbine High School.
I didn't know her, and will never get the chance to meet her in this life but this one girl
totally changed my life for the better. Rachel Scott was 17 years old, a year younger than I am now, she went to a high school a lot like mine. Rachel enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and took pride in her relationship with her Father in Heaven. I can see a lot of similar characteristics in mine and Rachel's lives. One thing that is different in our lives so far, is that Rachel is no longer with us. On April 20th 1999 Rachel, along with 12 others were victims of a horrendous massacre that took place in the one place where students should feel safe, their high school. A lot of people have thought that the massacre at Columbine was just some random act in the world and could not find any hope in what happened. But there is one thing that I and a lot of others are sure, that God was not asleep on that Tuesday. Good is happening to this day as a result of what happened on April 20th , God has definitely taken this tragedy and transformed it into something to further his Kingdom. Rachel's family has traveled across the country to bring Rachel's amazing life and death testimony to many different schools, churches and large gatherings. Tens of thousands of people have accepted the Lord into their heart as a result of hearing about Rachel's amazing story. Rachel has inspired me more than I will ever truly understand, and by having this web site I can tell others about this amazing girl. I hope you are inspired to do great things after reading about Rachel Joy Scott.
God Bless you!
"I am not going to apologize for speaking the name of Jesus. If my friends have to become my enemies for me to be with my best friend Jesus, then that's fine with me" -Rachel Joy Scott
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38 NIV
Lord, make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am.
Psalm 39:4 NIV
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called acording to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 NIV
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 NIV
