Greetings in the name of God/Goddess, the ancestors, and all the lwa!
Welcome to the Vodou tradition. I am Mambo Racine Sans Bout, Mambo asogwe of the Vodou.
I will be leading many ceremonial activities in 2008 and 2009, so before you go on to The VODOU Page I'd like to
make you aware of upcoming events that can enrich your spiritual life! Currently, the Roots
Without End Society is planning events including ancestor reverence, workshops on magic, ceremonies of cleansing and empowerment, training in herbal healing and magic... There will be events for people who are not initiated, events for people who want to be initiated, and events for people who are already initiated... something for everyone!
We are offering an initiation cycle in December 2008. You can begin preparation for this self-empowering, life-changing event at one of the liveliest Vodou houses in Haiti! And you can register online for the December 2008 kanzo to hold your place.
The Roots Without End Society peristyle in Jacmel, Haiti is our home, and it belongs to all the members of the Roots Without End Society. We hold initiation ceremonies and dances, religious services and magical activities in Haiti, in the United States, the UK, and other parts of the world. You can be a part of our society! Our members are American and Canadian, Haitian and British, and they live all around the globe. To learn more about the Roots Without End Society and the resources we offer, including information, forums, Vodou-related objects, instruction and upcoming events, click here. I look forward to hearing from you!
Would you like to know more about this life-changing, cleansing, empowering Vodou sacrament? You are invited to view a photoessay documenting the July 2007 Kanzo of the Roots Without End Society! Over one hundred photos and graphics on seventeen pages of text explaining the ceremonies are available to you, just click on the photo above. We would love to hear your questions, comments and inspirations! For more information email Mambo Racine Sans Bout.
Offer Vodou sacrifice!
You can make animal sacrifice, vegetarian food offerings, or a candle illumination. At sacred Vodou ceremonies in Jacmel, Haiti, even though you can not be present physically, we will present your offering with all correct ritual, call your name before the altar, and receive messages for you from the Vodou lwa. We transmit any messages, and digital photos of your offerings, to you. For more information, click here.
Vodou Discussion Groups
A discussion group especially for Vodouisants living outside of Haiti! In this group, Vodou Across the Water, international Vodouisants share information - where to find materials, what to say at work... :-)
NEW! On MySpace - Vodou - Dambala's Rainbow, a new discussion forum, has been created for those who might enjoy a flame-free, positive forum in MySpace's format.
Vodou is for everyone, of any race, gender, nationality or sexual orientation! Everyone is welcome in Vodou.
This new webring, "African Pagans and Spiritualists", is for African Americans or anyone else who has ancestry that leads back to Africa and who are either Pagan or Spiritualist. This webring also includes people of Africa or African descent practicing alternative and/or indigenous religions.
