We who are both Christian and Witches find ourselves constantly bombarded by the same
questions over and over. "How can you be a Christian and a Witch?" "What exactly
is a Christian Witch?" "Isn't the idea of a Christian Witch an oxymoron?"
This page is a place where these questions are explored. But more importantly, this
page is for the person who is asking the question, "How do -I- become a
Christian Witch?" Usually this question comes from Christians attracted to
Witchcraft who want to embrace the Craft but don't want to surrender their
faith in Jesus Christ. If you are one of these folk, we invite you into the
circle whose center is Christ but which has no boundaries!

I've been getting a lot of mail from people that read the Christian
Witchey Page who have been asking me this question. It's amazing how many seekers
there are.
TCWP was intended to be a place to help you as you seek to integrate
the Craft into your spiritual journey in Christ. But I've found for the
true novice there is a lot more needed than what has been here. That's why
I've finally decided that what is needed is a special place devoted to
just the issues of how one would become a Christian Witch.

A Potpourri Of Meditations: Thoughts Of Christian Witches In Song, Prose And Poetry
Enter into the Witches' Brew! It is a lively place where you can find the
meandering thoughts of different Christian Witches. Each one of us has
a different ingredient to bring to the cauldron and the final result is a
wonderful healing brew where heaven and earth, spirit and matter, and the way of
Jesus and the way of Witchcraft meet and mingle and become one!

or anything we feel would add to the brew! This is a place of diversity
and plurality. Think of this as a "guestbook-plus"! My vision is that as
the cauldron simmers and bubbles that this brew will become a tasty treat

that trouble some of us. What does the Bible really say about Witches?
Is Magick incompatible with a Christian worldview? Can one really
hold to the ethos of Witchcraft and still claim a Christian faith that
many Witches believe is antithetical to being a Witch?
Here we have nine hard questions, each answered by its own article. Some
of the questions might be the ones other Christians would ask, others
might be the ones other Witches would ask, but we believe the responses
in the articles will be of interest to all

THOUGHTS ON BEING A WITCH
Personal Journeys Of Christian Witches
Here are the personal stories of different Christian Witches. First is the
story of Rawna Moon, your Web Mistress, as her
spiritual path led her into embracing herself as both a Christian
and a Witch. Rawna's own spiritual journey, as her last name might
suggest, is closely connected to the Moon and Her phases.
Then is the story of Anduine7, poet and author, a young man who was already wise
beyond his young years when he was taken from us in a sad accident. Anduine7 was a
very dear friend of many of us. We'll never forget him!
Also we have the
story of Tygrlli, a young Christian Witch who was still discovering her spiritual
path when she became the original founder of the Christian Witch email lists that are now a
multitude. Although she no longer hosts these lists, all of us who use these resources
owe her a great debt of gratitude.
Finally we have the story of Annteater, a woman many of us consider a mentor in this path
and one of the contributors to the Christian Witchery Page. Annteater also shares
more insights with us as to what it means to be a Christian Witch in her
story.
These are exciting stories, but they are only a few stories among a myriad of
tales of Christian Witches. As this page grows we will tell the story
of many. Perhaps yours will be one!
