Support Our Plan

It is More than a Plan
It is a Revolution

This is a Win/Win Tax plan. Our Wealthy, Our Workers, Our Seniors and our Poor will all benefit.

In 1950, as we were coming home from the Korean war, we pondered over what the future would hold for us. In the area of employment we concluded that automation and high tech would make us so productive that we would only have to work a 30 hour  week and would enjoy  a one month vacation each year.  We would have time for our familys, self improvement, and community involvement.  We were partly right. Technology has increased our productivity a hundred to a thousand fold but what happened to the 30 hour week and  one month vacation.

Today millions of families in America are working 60 to 80 hours a week and taking no vacations just to make ends meet.  Children are being neglected and workers stressed to the breaking point.  What went wrong?

Millions of seniors, who are on fixed incomes, are watching their retirement dreams being devestated. What went wrong?

The problem can't be that we are not earning enough. In the past a salary of a couple of dollars an hour could support a family. Not too long ago a dollar would buy twenty cokes now it cost a dollar for just one. What went wrong?

The answer is obvious. Costs and taxes are sucking the purchasing power out of each dollar that we earn and have saved. Without purchasing power money is just so much paper. If you had to choose between a  quarter thac can buy 5-five cent cokes or a dollar that can buy only 1-one dollar coke commons sense dictates that you would take the quarter. The pursuit of puchaseing power, not the pursuit of money, should be our national guide line in all economic decisions.

For those who have a substantial income this is of little concern but for the millions who are struggling to make their income cover their day to day expenses this creeping loss of puchasing power is a nightmare. When your tight budget is being constantly derailed by unexpected increases in household and tax expenses the pursuit of independence and happiness seems like an impossible goal.

Our representitives, like most of us, want to be good guys. They want to use the government to settle all of the ills of the nation. They want it to be the champion for the poor, the seniors, the sick, the children, the ailens, the hungry, the handicapped, the non-smokers, the drivers, the non drivers and anyone else that makes an appeal to them. Unfortunately they buy into the arguement that the solution to all of these problems is to throw more money at them..

Where is all of this money supposed to come from? The obvious answer is to tax more and/or print more money.

At this pointt we want to post a couple definitions.

Definition one: Household money is the money that is needed to pay the mortgage, utilities, food, insurance, job expenses, car payments ,clothes, education, medical, retirement and on and on. We declares that this money should be exempt from taxation.

Definition two: Surplus money We call income above the household level surplus income. Here is an example: someone earning 10 million a year and taxed 5 million, has a surplus of $4,950,000 (which is 99 times basic Household Income). A working person earning $50,000 can end up paying a tax of $3,000 or more out of his household money and be strained to create even a meager surplus. A surplus is essential to every citizen who hopes to achieve the American dream of financial independence.

There will always be programs that our government has to finance but  let it be done with Surplus Income. We are a very rich nation and this should be no problem.  A word about Surplus Money. The Americans who have generated Surplus Income have contributed greatly to make this nation the great economic machine that it is today. It is their imagination, industry, and often considerable sacrifice that have generated the inventions, built the infrastructures, and created the entertainment that enrich our lives. We are greatly in debt to them. They, however, owe a debt to the millions who work daily to maintain the economic structure that made their success possible. They should ,with pride, be willing to use their surplus to lift the tax burden off the shoulders of  their fellow Americans who have chosen less lucrative, but equaly important, occupations.

Excessive taxes on our Surplus income (tax on the wealthy)  will be caused by excessive government spending not the reduction of taxes on House Hold income.

We propose that we end  all Federal income taxes, State income taxes, and Social Security taxes on the first $50,000 that any American earns. This is the line in the sand that the government must not cross. An excellent example of this is proposition 13 in California which put a cap on property taxes.  Without this cap on taxes tens of thousands of Californians would have lost their homes.

Note: This plan will eventualy reduce the tax burden on surplus income as fewer and fewer families will be dependent on the government for their support.

Eliminating taxes on household income can have all kinds of side benefits for our economy and it's millions of workers and seniors.

Employment opportunities will increase as fewer families need two pay checks.

It will reduce the heavy cost of a bloated IRS.

It will promote national prosperity by expanding the consumer base.

It will encourage upward mobility by allowing workers to keep their increased earnings as they climb the economic ladder.

It will give more working Americans money to invest and to build thier own  estate.

Another key goal is to make it possible for the average worker to prosper on a 40 hour work week is by reduceing  the costs of that which they purchase.

The American economic machine is now handicapped in the same way as an old ship that has collected barnicles on it's hull. If it is to compete in the global world market these barnicles have to be removed. A clean ship is a swift ship.

Let's start by revamping Malpractice Insurance. Malpractice Insurance has soared up to $1000 per year for every citizen in the country. We can change this by doing away with punitive damages and replacing them with compensatory insuance. Insurance rates will drop dramaticly once insurance companies have an idea what their expenses will be. If your insurance policy states that you will receive two million dollars for the lost of a leg or eye they can, using their actuary tables, know how much they will have to pay out during the year and can adjust their rates accordingly. Under the punitive system a lawyer might influance a jury to award some where beteween 10 million to possibly 100 million. This forces the insurance companies to charge us incredable rates because they have no idea what the cost of doing business will be.  This change might make it possible for the 45 million who don't have health insurace to be able to afford it.

Next, let's do away with frivolous law suits. Everyone knows what this means. For example: the fellow who had just bought an expensive motorhome and while trucking down the highway had to go to the rest room. He set the motorhome in Cruise Control and took off for the bathroom. The motorhome went off the highway and crashed. He was awarded by the court a new motorhome and a million and a half in cash. His lawyer pointd out that no where in the handbook did it say you shouldn't leave the driver's seat when in Cruise Control. How stupid. Then there's the famous one about McDonalds where a woman was awarded 3 million because she got burnt by hot coffee that she put between her legs.Eliminating frivolous law suits can save billions in court costs, insurance costs, and legal costs. How do we reduce frivolous law suits, make the loser of the case pay all court costs. This includes the salary of the judge, the baliff, the janitor and anyone else who works in the courtroom and all other costs such as the rent and supplies.

Costs, another idea. Reduce medical costs by getting rid of the middle man. Instead of giveing our health money to big institutions with big overheads for distribution let's give individuals a health credit that they can use in direct negotiations with the physcian of their choice. This credit account will be designed to help with medical expenses but will not be designed to cover all expenses. To encourage thrift it will be accumulative. We can work out the details as we go deeper into the program. This program will bring doctors back into the system and provide superior health care for everyone. Doctors will become creative in an effort to bring patients to them. They will introduce cost cutting ideas that the current system can't even conceive.

Costs, We spend millions on medical service and schooling for aliens. How about charging the country of their origin for these expenses.  We will probably never collect but it could be a strong bargaining chip in any trade agreements we might create with them.

Costs, what can we do about them? How about this idea? No government employees, including senators and presidents will get another raise until state and federal income taxes on our first $50,000 of income is eliminated. This will make them share the pain that the rest of us experience.

So far the only plan that the government has had to deal with escalating costs is to raise the minimum wage, thus aggravating the problem of riseing costs. The mimimum wage results in increased costs that add a cruel burden to those on a fixed income. The goal should be to put more value in our dollar rather than more dollars in our pockets. If we do this we have a win win situation for everyone.

The key to the future health of our nation's economy and its moral leadership lies in giveing our middle class the confidence that the American system is the best way to reach the American Dream.

Our strategy is to support canidates that have shown a recognition of the importance of this country's middle class. Not just rehtoric, but by action. This will give us the political muscle we need to create change. There is no shortcut to our goals, this will be a long journey,  but as long as we stay true to the plan we will continue to move forward.

You can help us to help you and millions of other Americans, by adding a link to this page and encouraging others to do the same. Every journey begins with the first step. Let's get moving.

We will appreciate an email from you.
