The excitement of this "bring the kids, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins" concert is the opportunity it provides for families in the Puget Sound area. Families need safe, accessible places to hear high quality music in the classical tradition, packaged in a format sure to delight young listeners and adults. Children whose primary exposure to music in our culture is through soundtracks and pupular media sources benefit from experiencing music in the classical tradition. Our family concert will provide children with a music education that integrates music with other art forms, such as literature, and visual forms of expression.
