
The Skansonia
On Wednesday, May 2, 2001 from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m., Rainier Chamber Winds will perform on the MV Skansonia at 2505 North Northlake Way in Seattle. This ferry has been beautifully appointed and dry-docked on the North shore of Lake Union next to the Kalakala, with a choice view of the Seattle skyline. In the 1920's she plied the Tacoma to Gig Harbor route. This musical voyage docks in Germany, France and England in the 18th, 19th and 20th centures.
