YAMATO ROMANDO Mini-Ships

Two Japanese companies produced similar mini-ship sets in 2003, FURUTA and YAMATO ROMANDO.  Both sets were similar in size to the earlier Galoob MicroMachines, and both sets were exclusively distributed in Japan.

YAMATO ROMANDO  produced this set of thirteen ships starting in mid-2003.  The basic set consisted of 13 ships, with two additional "chase" ships, randomly packaged with a much smaller production numbers.  The special chase ships were the Enterprise in warp, shown in close-up at the bottom of this page.  Unlike the ones from Futura Japan, these are less detailed and smaller.  Each ship measures around 2-3", with the size varying depending on the ship.

All ships were " 1/7000 scale " and were released in the same box.  Each sealed box containing one of the 15 different Starships.
