Here's my Dad's '70 Vette. He bought it in '85. Back then, it was white and ratty. We re-built the whole thing...new interior and motor (350, alum heads, roller rockers) and re-did a lot of the body. I always liked the recessed headlamps. I cut the smoke covers by hand out of Lexan. They cost about $10 and an hour in labor (it's a labor of love ; ) )
Here's my '77 firebird...my first car. I bought it in high school for $900 bone stock from its first owner. Bone stock? Couldn't have that! I dropped in a 350 ZZZ crate motor, 3.73 posi rear, polygraphite suspension, and a killer stereo along with some assorted other stuff. That = killer wheelspin (with the OEM 4-speed) all through 1st and second, and a 13.8 e.t. ...what fun!
This is the 1965 Impala SS Convertible I owned from June '96 to March '97. I sold it to make way for the '96! It had a 327 and a 2-speed powerglide.
