My Grandpa will always hold a special place in my heart, Grandma and him raised me most of my life. Grandpa always told me I was special, after all I was the first grandchild, and I was very spoiled by them. When I was born Grandpa wanted to name me Gertrude Olive. (What was he thinking??) Thank goodness my Grandma liked Elvis, so I became Lisa. :) Grandma and Grandpa raised alot of their grandchildren. Their grandchildren came first no matter what. Grandpa was the one who would take me to school when I was little. I remember one time when I was sick and he came to pick me up from school, he took me for ice cream. I use to go with Grandpa to work sometimes, and help him. Grandpa worked hard to support his family. Being around him was so much fun, he was always telling jokes. Grandpa was such a caring and loving person. I do miss him so very much, but I do know that he is not suffering anymore.
