New Beanie Sigel Diss

Canibus Drops 3rd Album

News

After a long absence 'Canibus Community' returns. We apoligise for the lack of updates

but everything is now back to normal.

New Beanie Sigel Diss

Props To Klap and Canibus Central for hooking Canibus Fans up with this:

Only a couple of months after the release of his 3rd solo LP, Canibus returns with this

track which focuses on Philly's Beanie Sigel. The ROC artist recieves a verbal batterin' with

this and it will be interesting to see if he will respond, I doubt it.

Canibus Drops 3rd Album

Ofcourse we all know this, at the closing stages of last year Canibus released 'C:True

Hollywood Stories'. The album consisted of 21 tracks, with guest appearences by PakMan

and 'C4'. The album had built up a reasonable amount of hype with the suspicious source

advertisments that seemed to be a message to Eminem. Canibus fans waited patiently as the

release dates were in chaos. It finally dropped and many of those canibus fans were left

dissapointed. The album has its highlights such as 'The Rip Off', ' A Different Vybe in LA',

'I gotta Story to Tell', 'Boxcutter, Bladerunner' and some other tracks ranging from decent to

bearable. Others, i'm afraid, are not and the 'Bonus Track' - which is a live performance with

Canibus' old lyrics- only highlights how much of a let down the project is in comparison to his

previous efforts.

21 Tracks on New Album?

Taken from SOHH.com

After a short hiatus and rebuilding process, Canibus is returning this fall with a new album.

The album, C True Hollywood Story, has 21 banging tracks and is set to drop on

November 13. The album features appearances from upcoming emcees Pakman and C4

and upcoming producers Nir Even, Alywad, Chips (reppin London) and Eben (reppin France).

In a statement regarding the album, Canibus said, "The album is an E True Hollywood story

from my point of view--it represents the things I've done, the places I've traveled, and the

people who I've met over the years. This album is proof that I made it. I had total creative

control on this one, not to mention more control of the finances."

This contradicts the suspicious tracklistin' leaked a few weeks ago. It also adds to the ongoing

speculation about the release date. It remains unconfirmed, many stores say October 30th and

others claim sometime in November.

The report also reveals the albums producers, many of them European. I guess Canibus hooked up

with them on his recent trips here and doin' shows etc. European producers have been on point

recently and made a strong name for themselves on both sides of the Atlantic, hopefully these guys

will be no different.

New Canibus Track!

Last night I was conversing with members of y2hiphop message board about Canibus and

hip hop in general when the Webmaster interupted and said that he would be uploading

a new Canibus track. I thought it was the one featuring Kool G Rap and MOP but he said

it wasn't and it was brand new. After waiting a few hours the track was uploaded but only in

the form of a snippet, as they didnt want to get sued by Gladiator. The track is going to be on

Gladiator's Canibus project which will be released in the near future. The track has Canibus

spittin very very nice lyrics over a vert very nice beat. The flow is different than usual but thats

in a positive way and it fits perfectly with the beat. The track is that hot its been receivin props

all over the net, even from those who previously had writen Canibus off. As it is a snippet it is

only 1 minute19 seconds and it will have you beggin' for more.

If the full version is uploaded, I'll be quick to update.

Click to listen. The track is called 'Boxcutter, BladeRunner'

Major props go to y2hiphop.com, Illest hip hop site on the net.

*Lyrics Coming Soon*

New Canibus Kool G Rap and MOP

Props go to CanibusCentral for this track.

Supposedly, this was recorded before 2000BC but was never released.

False Rumours- Canibus Killed

This week Canibus fans around the world were shocked and left devastated. A member at

sohh.com (aka canibushaters.com) reported that he was shot while performing in London.

The news quickly spread around the internet, many people didnt know what to believe.

But I will gladly confirm Canibus is alive and well and ready to drop his new album soon.

The reports had no truth whatsoever and even the morons who created the story have

admitted that.

In other 'Canibus Confusion', there has been different reports and rumours concerning the

release date of 'C True Hollywood Stories'. As we stated previously, Canibus declared the

album would drop October 23rd. On Yahoo it reveals the date is October 30th and this week

Cdnow.com reported that the expected release date is November 6th.

If there is any further developments, I'll be first to update.

New Source Advertisement: Eminem Diss?

If u copped the latest edition of 'The Source' you would have noticed a Canibus

advertisment. Obviously, it was promotin the new album: 'C True Hollywood Stories'

but it has caused some controvery. The ad shows a letter from 'Stan' to 'Marshall

Mathers'. People have been askin is this a diss? Will an Eminem Diss Track be on

the new album? Is it just a method of promotion?

Also, the guests include Pakman, CB4, and Da Int. H-Men. This begs the question,

who the fuck are/is CB4?

C True Hollywood Stories Tracklisting?

Yahoo have reported that the new Canibus album will have 16 tracks. Its not official

therefore cannot be consider 100% true but they say the album's tracklisting is:

1. C True Hollywood Stories

2. Ya Teef Iz Yellow

3. Lemme Hear Sumthin' Else

4. Hott 2 Night

5. Got 2 Get That Doe

6. U Didn't Care

12. Get Off My D**k

13. I Got A Story 2 Tell

14. Different Vibe In L.A., A

15. I'm Still Nice

16. The Rip Off

They dont reveal who the album's guest appearances are, if any. Rumour has it

Pac-Man will be featured on many of the songs on the album though.

If theres any more news or if this is confirmed, we'll be first to update.

Another Canibus Album?

You may or may not have noticed that we have removed '33 Threes' and

'HRSMN are Here'. We were asked, or well ordered, to remove these tracks

because it is Gladiator Records who owns them. I asked why and they resonded:

'we want to be able to control the music that we own until we're ready to drop it.'.

The also stated:

'While it's true that Canibus has decided to leave Gladiator Records,

we still have a business relationship with him and still own the tracks for a new

CD and also for the HRSMN.'

I dont expect this to be released anytime soon and i do wonder how much

material they own but whatever the case if there is any further developments, I'll

definetly keep you informed.

Good Luck and Props to Gladiator for their co-operation in the past.

New Tracks on New Site

On September 18th I was pleasently greeted with an early birthday present.

Someone alerted me that there was exclusive Canibus news and gave me a link,

I followed it and a new Canibus mp3.com site was revealed. The site contains

various new tracks with loads of surprises. Includin' a telephone conversation

with LL Cool J. Also a short adaptation of Eminem's 'Stan'. Is this a diss?

We'll have to wait and see how the story develops. The tracks are below, read

on and see the exclusive news unfold.

"October 23rd"

"Tha Real Truth"

"Slay Da Track"

We were asked by Gladiator to remove '33 Threes' and 'HRSMN are Here'

Canibus and LL Cool J Convo

Canibus has posted a track with a conversation with himself and LL Cool J,

They both discuss their 'beef' situation. I'm still in shock listenin to this all.

LL even suggests makin' a track together, but It was recorded around the time

'4321' was released so dont expect it to ever happen. They talk about a

collaboration with busta rhymes but it seems that never developed either.

Give it a listen on 'Tha Real Truth'.

Canibus on Proverb, Official

Canibus on Gladiator Records? Nope, not anymore. It is now official that he

is with Proverb Music. There was alot of talk over the situation, has Canibus

got a label? is he signed with Gladiator records? Has he Joined Killah Priest

and went to Proverb Music? After speculation it has been confirmed that the latter

is correct. I think this will give Canibus more promotion and exposure than

Gladiator would be able to offer.

It is now only a month till the album will be released. I wonder if there will be any

more twists and turns, if there is you'll find it first here.

Album Title- 'C' True Hollywood Stories

After weeks of anticipation and estimations, it is official that Canibus' up and

coming album will be titled - 'C-True Hollywood Stories'. It will be available

October 23rd, as previously reported, be sure to PICK IT UP.

I spoke with someone who was lucky enough to see Canibus perform recently,

they said Canibus played a song called 'I Hate You' from the up and coming project

and they that it was brilliant and one of his best recent tracks.

October 23rd 'Guarenteed'

A new canibus freestyle has surfaced on the net, props to y2hiphop.com.

We hear him rhymin amazing bars over P Diddy's 'Bad Boy 4 Life',

very promising lyrics. The freestyle opens with him singin':

'I aint playin no games

believe that

the album drops october 23rd

October 23rd!

I aint playin no games

I guarentee that

the album drops October 23rd

October 23rd'

There it is from the horses mouth, rumours had indicated that the album

would be released early next year, even Ras Kass added to the speculation.

But it is 'guarenteed' that it will be released October 23rd.

If there is any further news, i'll let you know.

Copy and Pase this into realplayer to hear the freestyle:

New Album News, Release Date

Y2hiphop.com has reported that Canibus will release his 3rd album on

October 23rd. They said that he did a freestyle (over P Diddy's Bad Boy

4 Life beat) and claimed it will hit stores that date, much earlier than Ras Kass

suggested.

We cant be sure, as we know in the past, release dates get pushed back

for almost up to a year. But hopefully because Canibus isnt on a huge commercial

label it wont be too long. We will keep you posted.

3 New Canibus Tracks

As we reported before any other site on the web, canibus has updated

his site with 2 new tracks. And another has popped up on the net.

"U Can't F*ck With The Canibus Man" and "Talkin' The Talk"

can be found at canibus.com . You can check out "Thirty Three Three's"

at y2hiphop.com

New Material Added To Mp3.com Site

**(Exclusive, Only to This Site)**

In a recent conversation with someone from Gladiator records,

I enquired about the up and coming canibus projects and if they

would be adding to their collection of songs on their mp3.com

webpage. They couldnt give me much information regarding

the album but, in an exclusive to this site, the person said they

are adding new material to the mp3 site this week.

So be sure to spread the word and visit the site frequently.

The mp3.com site can also be accessed usin' the domain name

www.canibus.com and www.canibus.net .

Rakim and Pharoahe Monch Not in HRSMN

A few months ago we reported that Rakim and Pharoahe Monch

were members of the Horsemen Crew. I have further spoken to

Gladiator and they set the record straight. They said that they are not

members and neither is 'Pac-Man', PacMan is just someone who

Canibus is 'bringin up' in the game.

I was also told that the official Horsemen Title wasn't '4 Horsemen'

or 'The Horsemen'. The group's name is 'HRSMN '.

Canibus Tour Dates (Ireland)

Here is a list of the venues and dates when Canibus is over in Ireland

performing. Should be a wicked show as usual, so if you live over

there make sure you go and support.

08/24/01 -- Grenslandhallen Hasselt

08/25/01 -- Savoy Theatre Cork

08/26/01 -- Red Box Dublin

Sunshine Anderson Producer Works With Canibus

Exclusive News!!!I recently had a conversation with someone

connected with Gladiator Records. I asked him various questions

concerning the up and coming projects and he told me the new

Canibus album is produced substantially by Mark Sparks, the

producer of Sunshine Anderson.

There isnt a release date for the new Canibus album or the

Horsemen project but as soon as i know i'll post up immediently.

New Canibus album finished?

As I was listenin to the mp3.com canibus freestyle, noddin my head along to

the beat that Canibus had used to spit his usual witty lyrics,

I decided to click on the 3 part interview. The interviewer was Paradise, who

Canibus knew from wayback, and he was talkin about Canibus' passed and plans for future.

Canibus went on to say that he had completed his own album and the

horsemen album. He didnt say what date they would be released or which

label they were on but he did say he was with Gladiator Records, but he wasn't

been controlled by a label. He must really be putin alot of effort into his work

to get it finished so quickly, hopefully this material will do him justice and

show the world.

The songs on offer at mp3.com have really got

me hyped about the albums and hopefully they will be out very very soon.

Canibus launches mp3.com site

Canibus has launched his own page at mp3.com. The Page contains 'Rip

The Jacker', a brand new song named 'Last Laugh', An exlcusive Mp3.com

freestyle, and a three part interview. The exclusive freestyle is amazing,

reminds me of the 97 period. Very promising and he used a beat with a nice

violin loop which really suited him and hopefully more like that will be used

in the future. The Last Laugh is really a step in the wrong direction. Boring

chorus and below average beat. Hopefully Canibus will learn from his

previous mistakes.

The mp3.com page is definetly worth checkin out, especially for the

freestyle and ofcourse the classic diss track.

Canibus Responds to LL

Oh Yes, after the numerous times LL has dissed Canibus over the past few

years Canibus has came back with a new track of his own, telling the world

exactly what he thinks of LL. 3 of the versus are takin from the live diss

Canibus did while he was in the UK, not only that, he has used an old

classic LL Cool J beat on the track. 'I'm Bad' is definetly one of the best

diss records i've heard in a long time.

Canibus hasnt gone for his trademark raw, line after line bombardment,

he has went for the punchlines and humour which may leave some dissa-

pointed but without doubt thisis worth checking out.

Canibus Vs Eminem?

Recent internet rumours suggest that Canibus has recorded a diss track

directed to Eminem. Supposedly the song is called "next round knockout".

Other stories suggest Eminem's reply will include Wyclef and LL, which

i think is crazy but we'll have to wait and see. If this is true, which is doubtful,

then it has the potential to be the best battle hip hop has ever witnessed.

This could also give Canibus a little more exposure.

I found this at jackin4beats.com

Canibus Vs. Eminem By CRACKER JACK-ED

It has been reported that Canibus has unleashed yet another battle. The

"next round knockout" song title has been addressed towards Eminem.

Canibus who was known for destroying LL (Lack Luster) Cool J's career

is now known to go heads up with Detroit phenom Eminem. Eminem has

not yet unleashed his come -back song yet; However, it has been reported

that Eminem has linked up with Wyclef Jean and LL Cool J. It has been

reported on Power 106's website that Eminem has included WJ and LL

to his up-coming diss track.

Canibus off Universal

It has been confirmed that Canibus is no longer with Universal. After many

rumours and angry comments made by Canibus himself, he has left

the label. There has been much confusion as to how they split. Did Canibus

Leave or did he get dropped? Are these the words of a man who wants to

stay with his label?

'I heard there is a rumour goin around that i got dropped,

200,000 albums sold at $10 a pot.

3Million was shipped u do the math

thats 3 million in 3 months they can kiss my ass,

all these magazines who tried to steemroll me to death,

guess what? the goat aint platinum and neither is clef'

After hearing this, my mind was going crazy. Who would he sign with? Some

say he has had meetings with rawkus, others koch and some say he has

started his own independent label. Whatever is confirmed i'll be

quick to update this. Stay tuned.

Horsemen Expand

As we all know, Canibus has been involved in a group called 'Tha Horsemen' .

They originally planned it was a four-man crew but now, supposedly, it has

expanded. The new click consists of Rass Kass, Kurupt, Killah Priest,

Pharaohe Monch, Rakim, and Canibus. Canibus stated in a recent interview

that everything you hear about 'Tha Horsemen' is true. If this is true

then you can expect a classic. Everyone of those MCs brings somethin

different to the crew, the album is expected to be out this year. The

producers to the horsemenalbum include Dr Dre, Alchemist, Rockwilder,

Battle Cat possibly Dj Premier and some up and coming producers.

Canibus will also be releasing a single called "The Truth 2001".

We know that Canibus mentions 'The Truth' in interviews and his lyrics.

Canibus Leaves Universal?

I was surfing the net, researchin on subjects Canibus related and I came across

someone chatting about Canibus leaving Universal. I read in a recent Canibus

interview that said he was angry about them blanking out some

words on his latest album, 2000BC.

The source can't really be considered reliable but i have heard

it again and again from various people. If any other info surfaces then i'll post it up.

Universal now have quite a roster including Nelly and Sticky Fingaz. Maybe

Canibus felt he needed a label that could spend more time and promotion on him

and that Universal Records were preoccupied on other artists etc but who knows. Right now this is

just an internet rumour. We'll have to wait and see.
