Jessica "Jessie" Spanno

In her years at Bayside, Jessie Spanno managed to receive such high honors as Class President, Valedictorian, and was accepted to Columbia University. She was also a school cheerleader and had a relationship with a A.C. Slater for 3 years. She was always committed to saving the environment and helping animals. This was shown when she protested and successfully stopped Grayson Oil from developing the oil found in Bayside's football field.

CHARACTER INCONSISTENCIES:

Zack and Jessie have been friends since they were kids, but Zack lived in Indianapolis until 9th Grade.

Zack Morris

During his four years in Bayside and his 8th grade year at J.F.K, Zack managed pick up many girls, and many detentions. During his Senior year, Zack managed a 1502 on his S.A.T. and got accepted to Yale. Zack also had a soft side that was shown when he delivered Mrs. Belding's child and when he cried(pansy) when his duck, Becky, died from an oil spill. Zack also was a track and basketball star.

CHARACTER INCONSISTENCIES

The aforementioned Jessie thing.
Zack is always portrayed as an F Student, yet he gets A's on almost all of his reports.
Zack, Lisa, and Screech simultaneously moved to the same area in Malibu(Not really an inconsistency, just weird).

Lisa Turtle

During all of her years at Bayside, two qualities have remained with Lisa Turtle: her gossip crown, and her keen fashion sense. The latter got her accepted to college at F.I.T. She also has had to deal with some pretty embarrassing situations like showing up to the Senior kickoff dance with a freshman and having her fashion commentary ruined by Screech at her fashion show.

CHARACTER INCONSISTENCIES:

She was going out with Zack for one episode, then on the next episode, she wasn't.

Samuel "Screech" Powers

Samuel "Screech" Powers was willing to do just about anything for his best friend Zack, he usually did. Screech was frequently seen going scuba-diving to get pictures of the girls swim team practice, creating a diversion to block Mr. Belding from his office, hiding in a file cabinet to the get the skinny on why Slater's father was meeting Mr. Belding, or posing as Zack on a date with Penny Belding. One thing always stayed the same, though: his love for Lisa. Screech relentlessly pursued her, and after striking out so many times, Screech finally got his prize when Lisa asked him to Prom. Screech also was captain of the Bayside Chess team, President of the Insect club, and member of the Bayside miniature golf team.

CHARACTER INCONSISTENCIES:

Screech had a little brother in Indiana but was an only child in Bayside.

Kelly Kapowski

Kelly was seen frequently on the grounds of Bayside. She was a member of the Student Council and swim team, head cheerleader, and homecoming queen. She also holds the distinction of being the only girl to date Zack for more than one episode. Eventually, the couple broke up after Kelly fell in love with her boss, Jeff.
CHARACTER INCONSISTENCIES:

Kelly was in the Zack Attack on the episode in the future, but on the prom episode she wasn't.

A.C. (Albert Clifford) Slater

A.C. Slater was a kid who was always moving, his father was in the Army, and he never had a real home. He managed to stay in California for four years, though, and what a four they were. Slater started off constantly battling with Zack over Kelly, eventually Zack got her, and he and Slater became good friends. They ran many scams at Bayside, from setting up his girlfriend Jessie's stepbrother to get in trouble, to running a rigged contest to get money for repairs to Lisa's mother's car. Slater was also Bayside's star athlete. He was starting Quarterback on the Bayside football team, Captain of the Bayside wrestling team, and member of the Bayside basketball team.
CHARACTER INCONSISTENCIES:

Slater and Zack were fighting at the end of the 9th grade season, but at the beginning of the tenth grade season, they were friends.

Mr. Richard Belding

Over his years at Bayside, Principal Richard Belding was the butt of many of the kids jokes and pranks. The person responsible for most of these was Zack Morris, a wild-eyed boy from Malibu. He constantly pulled "fast ones" on Belding, such as hiring an actor to play his father and having a party for screech in his office. Belding did however always have an admiration for Zack, and he even named his child after him, when Zack delivered his baby.
CHARACTER INCONSISTENCIES:

Belding's son was born without an umbilical cord and perfectly clean.
