Welcome to Sixby Fire Tech, the Internet's original six wide fire apparatus builder. Our Sixby Pumper was made public on 10/30/97, and as such was the first ever six wide fire apparatus built for conventional fire departments.

As you may or may not already know, Eric S. McDonald also known as FireMed3 and more recently as LCFDFireChief, who was the creator of the Lego City Fire Department, died in a car accident on August 21st, 2002 in Anoka, MN. Even though I never met Eric in person, I considered him a close friend. This is a great loss to the LEGO Fire Department community. I'm still in shock, I hope to post a memorial at a later date. My prayers are with his family.
