An Open Letter to U2:

A Note from the Editor: Here's to the Future

As long-time readers of this site will notice, it has undergone some changes.

Some of these changes are cosmetic. While I did not add frames, which the majority of people seem to hate, I did finally add some more advanced html here. I added drop down menus for the tours. I tried to keep a simple design.

Feel free to tell me how you like that portion of it, whether it's still easy to read.

Secondly, I've finally started to add more commentary. Previously, all comentary about shows was on the individual transcript. Now, there will be a larger look at U2: their place in history, and the interplay between world events and particular shows, and, their performances in the future. Right now, there is a look at venues, some PopMart moments and a plea for U2 to be more honest in their live releases.

There are still many, many changes to come. First, I hope to convert many of the text transcripts to html. I would also like to add a cgi-script to search for particular words and songs.

Please tell me how I can better serve you, the U2 consumer.

Of course, remember that I am not affiliated with U2, nor their management. This allows me to look at U2 with a more discerning eye and even to critique their actions.
