Mansfield
Amateur Radio Repeater Group
are responsible for the day to day running
and maintenance of GB3MD on UHF and GB3MX on VHF. Repeater
group meetings are held every month or two at
Intake Leisure Club,
Kirkland Avenue, Mansfield starting
at 8pm.
|
GB3MD is located on the Eastern
side of Mansfield and gives good coverage in an arc
approximately NW through N to SE of the town.
GB3MX fills in the areas where MD
is more limited. This box is located near Kirkby in
Ashfield and covers the Western side including the M1 and A38. |

Radio Society has invited members of the Repeater Group to
attend their meeting of 9th August when the guest speaker
will be Ken Frankcom G3OCA. Ken is the RSGB regional
representative for the East Midlands. Any Repeater
Group business will be dealt with afterwards. |
