NOTE: This story takes place with Piper and Leo married, Phoebe still in college and Prue still a photographer. In other words, I am writing it between the third and fourth seasons, but they never got exposed like they did in episode #66 'All Hell Break Loose' because it's too confusing. Some people who will be reading this are Americans. I am Australian, and during December, January and February it is summertime. You will need to know that later on in the story.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own any of these characters except for Dr. Andrews. I am just borrowing them to write a story based on the coolest TV show, Charmed.
"Prue? Phoebe? Breakfast's ready," called Piper one Sunday morning.
"I love your breakfasts, Piper. Look's delicious," said Phoebe as she came into the kitchen.
"Hey, what about me? I cooked almost all of it. The most Piper did was pour the coffee and stick bread into the toaster," objected Leo.
"Yeah, right. More like you sat at the table and read the paper. You are such a liar," smiled Piper. "Don't listen to him, Pheebs."
"What are you babbling on about?" asked Prue as she came into the kitchen, holding the Sunday paper.
"I was not babbling! Now eat up," said Piper. She set down plates loaded with bacon, eggs and toast onto the table, and then sat down herself. The four of them ate their breakfast, Prue and Leo reading the paper while Piper and Phoebe chatted.
Suddenly, a wind blew through the kitchen.
"What the hell…" said Phoebe. A shiny, blue vortex opening appeared in the kitchen doorway. Leo grabbed onto Piper's hand as they both were sucked into it. The vortex closed, then another one appeared, but a green one. Prue and Phoebe were both sucked into it, and then it closed. The Manor was quiet.
"Leo, where the hell are we?" asked Piper, frightened. They were in a shopping mall, with people all around them.
"I don't know. Hang on, come with me," replied Leo. He walked boldly into the nearest store, and asked the woman at the counter what the date was.
"Why, it's November the 17th," the woman replied pleasantly.
"I mean, what year is it?" Leo asked.
"2012. Can I help you find anything in the store?"
"Uh, no thanks," Leo replied. He grabbed Piper's arm and led her out of the store. Walking quickly, they found an exit to the mall and were soon standing in the bright sunlight.
"Great. We've time travelled. I hate time travelling," grumbled Piper.
"Don't worry, we'll get out of this mess. Your sisters saw us go, they'll check the book, and figure out how to get us back. Or we might," soothed Leo. They started walking along when Piper stopped suddenly.
"I know where we are. I think. The grocery store and the old mall have been torn down, and in its place is that," Piper said, gesturing to the new mall.
"So, the Manor should be…" she paused, trying to get her bearings straight.
"Down there, then turn right go to the end of the street and turn left, then take the first right."
"Okay, lets go said Leo. He grabbed Piper's hand and they began walking down the street.
Meanwhile, Prue and Phoebe wee in the past, a few houses down from the manor.
"Whoa. Where are we?" said Prue.
"I don't know. Wait. We time travelled. So did Piper and Leo. But I think that we're in the past. I mean, look around," answered Phoebe. "The cars are kinda old fashioned, and so are some of these houses."
"Okay. Where are we?" asked Prue.
Phoebe looked around, and saw the Manor a few houses down the street.
"There's the Manor. Let's go there, for starters."
The two Charmed Ones headed down the street, and were about to go up the driveway, when Prue stopped.
"Excuse me, can you please tell me what year it is?" Prue asked an elderly man who was passing by them.
"Why, it's the year 1980," he replied, and continued on his way.
"Uh, we can't go into the Manor," said Prue.
"Why not?" asked Phoebe.
"Because, what if our past selves answers the door? We'll be in hu-" Prue stopped talking as Phoebe was seized by a premonition. "What is it? What did you see?"
"I saw Piper and Leo, they're standing right here, where we are," replied Phoebe. "But the cars were so much better looking and The Manor looked, well, older."
"I'll bet they went to the future," said Prue. "Um, what are we going to do about getting into the Manor? We obviously have to get to the Book of Shadows."
"Well, we're gonna have to risk it," Phoebe said, halfway up the driveway.
"Okay, we're at the manor. Now what?" asked Piper.
"Well, how about we ring the doorbell, for a start," answered Leo. The walked up to the door and Piper rang the bell.
A much older Piper answered the door. "What the…" she began.
"It's okay. I'm you, but from the past. Ten years in the past, to be exact. Can you remember?" said Piper.
The older Piper's eyes widened. "Yes!"
"Mommy, who is it?" A little boy of about 7 came running to the door.
"Uh, it's friends of mine. Can you go upstairs and see what Aunt Phoebe and the girls are doing?" future Piper said.
"Okay." The boy went back inside.
"Um, why don't you come inside? Actually, don't. We'll go up to the attic." Piper 2 led Leo and the younger Piper upstairs. "Prue? Can you come here?" Piper2 said as they passed Prue's door. Prue followed them, a confused look on her face. When they reached the attic door, future Piper muttered a spell under her breath. The attic door sprang open. A minute later, the four of them were seated in the attic.
"Okay. What the hell is going on?" asked Prue.
"Well, Leo and I are from the past. We got caught in a time vortex, and poof, there we were at that shopping centre. So we came here," said Piper simply.
"Oh. Oh, I remember. Phoebe and I got sent to the past, to the year 1980. We had to vanquish a demon, and that got us back to our time and-" said Prue.
"How did Leo and I get back?" cut in Piper.
"Well, you have to vanquish a demon, too," replied Piper2.
"This is very confusing. How long did it take you to find and vanquish him?" Leo asked Piper2.
"Four days," replied Piper2. " Prue and Phoebe had to vanquish a demon named Tsap. I – you will have to vanquish his twin brother, Erutuf."
"Geez, they had weird names," said Leo.
"Yeah, but I figured out that Tsap's name backwards is past and Erutuf's name backwards is future," said Prue.
"Okay then. Enough of the demons, then. So, what's happening here? How is my life going to turn out?" asked Piper.
"Yes?" Grams opened the door a few seconds after Phoebe rang the bell. Then her eyes widened. "Prue? Phoebe?"
"Don't be afraid. We time travelled, and thought we should come here. Can you help us?" asked Prue.
"Come in." Grams led Prue and Phoebe inside, and up to the attic. Quietly, she muttered something under her breath and the attic door sprang open. A minute later, the three were sitting on chairs, Grams in an armchair.
"So, how about you explain everything to me? And you better not have time travelled for personal gain. You know you're not allowed."
"Okay. We didn't want to come here. Well, we'd always love to come and visit you, but we know we aren't allowed. And there are no spells to send us back in time, or to the future, for that matter. Well, not to my knowledge, but-"
"Get to the point," interrupted Prue.
"Right. Anyway, we were sitting around the breakfast table and then it got all windy. Then a vortex appeared and Piper and Leo got sucked into it. Then another appeared and Prue and I got sucked into it. Then we ended up here," explained Phoebe simply.
Grams walked over to the Book Of Shadows, and opened it up. She paged through, and then stopped at a page. "I found the page. The demon that did this is named Tsap. He is a demon who takes witches to other times where they are more venerable, so he can kill them. To vanquish him, you need to make a potion. So, I'll make you a potion you each will have, so when the demon comes you just throw it on him, and he'll be gone," Grams said.
"Thanks Grams," said Phoebe as she gave her grandmother a big hug.
"Oh, you can stay here until you vanquish the demon," added Grams. "You can sleep in the guest room, and I'll tell Piper, Prue and Phoebe – the younger ones – that you are friends of mine, and you don't like to be disturbed. Or something like that."
"Great. So, do you want me to help you make the potion?" asked Prue.
"That would be great, Prue. Let's go get started then." Grams led Prue and Phoebe downstairs into the kitchen, and got out the big saucepan. Under Grams' directions, the three managed to cook up a potion. They tipped it into two bottles, and Grams gave the bottles to Prue and Phoebe.
"Okay. When Tsap comes, you must throw the potion on him and he will be gone. Got that?" asked Grams.
"Yes," Prue and Phoebe said in unison. "Oh, where's the other Prue, Piper and Phoebe?" asked Prue.
"Phoebe is at a camp for a week, Prue's at college and Piper is in her room working on a project. You don't need to worry about them. Oh, and your mother is still alive," replied Grams.
"Mom? Where is she?" asked Phoebe.
"She's at the shops."
"Oh, oh, what are we going to do for clothes?" asked Prue
"Well, I still have some of your mother's old clothes, and I know a spell to conjure some up. Don't worry; it's not a self-gain spell. You need the clothes," Grams added after seeing Prue's face.
"Grams? Can I have a drink of water?" asked a young Piper as she came into the kitchen. "Who are these people?" she added as she caught sight of Prue and Phoebe.
"Uh, they're friends of mine, and they'll be staying here for a little while, sweetie," replied Grams. Piper smiled shyly at Prue. "Hi, I'm Piper."
"My name is," Prue paused, glancing at Grams. "Lucy. This is my sister, Angela. I'm glad to meet you, Piper."
"Before I tell you what's happening in my – your – our life, let's go down to the kitchen, and I'll make some coffee," said Piper2, leading them downstairs. As they went into the kitchen, Piper2 put on the coffee and everyone else sat at the table.
Just then, the future Leo orbed in.
"Honey, I was…" he drifted off as he saw Piper 1,2 and the other Leo.
"Hey Leo. I'm from the past, and so is this Leo, who is sitting right next to me. We seem to be sent here by some demon and we'll be staying here for the next four days until my Prue and Phoebe find and vanquish the demon that sent us here," said Piper, smiling at him.
"Okay then. Uh, Piper, Jack called. He said that the electrician came and fixed the strobe lights," said Leo2.
"Really? Great," replied Piper 2. Leo orbed out.
"So, you want to know what's happening with our life, huh? Well, I live here with Leo, and Prue lives here with her husband, Josh. Josh is a good warlock. Leo and I have twin girls, Sarah and Patty, a daughter, Melinda, and a son named Dominic. Prue has a son named Peter. Phoebe lives across the road sharing the house with two friends. We still own P3, and I also bought Quake. All of the kids have their powers. Melinda can freeze time and blow up things, like me, Patty has premonitions and can see things from a great distance and Sarah can levitate demons and astral project. The boys only have one power. Dominic has can read minds, and Peter has telekinesis. Melinda and Dominic are the only ones who can heal and orb, though the twins and Peter can blink. The twins are eight, Melinda's eleven and Peter and Dom are five. Prue can now change the weather, Phoebe can make people see what isn't there, and I can rewind and fast forward time. So, what else do you want to know?" asked Piper2.
"I'm going to have twins? Four kids! Really?" Piper looked at Leo with shining eyes.
"Hey Mom! Can Sarah, Melinda and I go to the mall?" yelled a voice from upstairs. A girl with brown hair to her shoulders and chestnut brown eyes came into the kitchen.
"Patty, this is Piper and Leo. They're from the past, and will be staying here for the next four days," said Prue, getting up.
"Oh. Hi Mom. Hi Dad." Turning to Piper2, she asked to go to the mall again.
"No, I think I remember you and your sisters getting grounded. Have you forgotten already?" Piper 2 said.
"Aww." Sighing, Patty went to the fridge and got out five cans of cola, and then ran upstairs. A minute later, Patty came downstairs accompanied by Phoebe.
"Piper? Leo? What is going on? Why do you look so young? Whoa, am I seeing double? Is my power playing up, or something?" she asked, rubbing her eyes.
"No, actually, Piper and Leo have come to visit us for four days," replied Prue.
Patty threw something in the bin, and as she turned around she tripped. Phoebe caught her. As Phoebe grabbed hold of her, Patty was pulled into a premonition. She saw a younger looking Prue and Phoebe sitting in a kitchen that looked like the kitchen in the Manor with two other women. One of them looked pretty old, the other looked younger, about 30.
"What did you see?" asked Prue.
"I saw you and aunt Phoebe. You were sitting around a kitchen table with an old lady and another woman. You both looked younger."
"That must be when Prue and I got sent to the past. That old lady was Grams, and that other woman was Mom," replied Phoebe
"Alright then," said Prue as she got up.
"Hang on. I forgot. You will have to stay here for four days, but while you're here, you're gonna have to vanquish a demon. I just remembered," Piper2 told Piper.
"Ah, that's bad. So much for some relaxation," grumbled Piper.
"Don't worry about it. We'll live. I mean, how else are we supposed to have four kids if we die?" soothed Leo.
"Right. What time is?" asked Piper
"Twelve thirty. I'll start making lunch, so, you two can settle in," Piper2 told Piper and Leo.
"No, I'll help you. I have to keep my hands busy. Grams taught us that, remember?" said Piper.
"I have to see the Elders. Just to see how things are, an all that." Leo orbed out, and the two Pipers began preparing lunch.
Prue and Phoebe enjoyed their stay in the Manor with Grams, Patty and little Piper. Phoebe got to spend time with her mother, and Prue learnt some tricks with her power. Tsap didn't show up that day, or the second day. The potions sat in the sisters' pockets, untouched. Phoebe started to get worried, and confided to Prue when they were alone the second night.
"Prue, I'm kinda worried that Tsap hasn't turned up at all. I mean, what if he went to the future and killed Piper? Or Leo?" she said.
"Phoebe, don't worry. Piper and Leo will be fine. And do you want to know why? Because the future Piper will tell her what they will end up doing. And they will be better protected than us, because there will be our future selves to help. And the future Piper and Leo. And her kids, because I'll be damned if she hasn't had any. So quit worrying," soothed Prue. "Actually, why don't you go and get a piece of clothing or something of little Piper? You might get a premonition."
"Good idea." Phoebe went down the hallway to little Piper's bedroom, and knocked. "Piper? Are you in there?"
"Yes. Come in." Phoebe went inside. "Oh, hi Angela."
"Hey Piper. Whatcha doing?" asked Phoebe/Angela.
"Oh, nothing really. I was just drawing," replied little Piper. She was bent over a piece of paper, crayons at her side. After a moment of silence, she stood up. "Finished."
"Oh, that's such a pretty picture. You're a great drawer," complimented Phoebe.
"You can have it," said little Piper shyly.
"Thank you very much." As Phoebe took the paper, she was drawn into a premonition. She saw Piper sitting around a kitchen table with Prue and another Piper, who both looked a bit older. There were three girls standing behind them, two who looked identical. They were all looking through a photo album.
"What's wrong?" asked little Piper.
"Uh, nothing, sweetie. Uh, I have to go for a sec, okay?" Phoebe hurried out of the room, and into the kitchen where Grams and Patty were sipping steaming mugs of coffee.
"Uh, hey. I just got a premonition, of Piper and Leo in the future," Phoebe informed them.
"Leo? Who's Leo?" asked Patty.
"Uh, he's our white lighter, and Piper's husband," replied Phoebe.
"But I thought witches weren't allowed to marry white lighters," puzzled Patty.
"Well, they changed the rules for Piper. Anyway, I got a premonition of them in the future. They were sitting with an older looking Prue and Piper. There were also three girls sitting around. Two looked identical.
"Okay. I don't think you have to worry about it. I presume that the girls around them could have been Piper or Prue's children," said Grams.
"Oh. Okay then, bye," said Phoebe as she left the room. She ran upstairs and into the room her and Prue were sharing. Talking quickly, she informed Prue on her premonition, and what Grams said.
"I wonder if any of those girls were mine?" said Prue, a gleam in her eye.
"No offence, but I think they were all Piper and Leo's kids. I mean, the twin girls looked a lot like Piper, and the other girl had Leo's eyes and mouth," said Phoebe.
"You know, it's weird that we haven't fought at all since we got here," said Prue, laying down on the double bed.
"Yeah, especially since Piper isn't here to referee. I miss Piper, don't you?" asked Phoebe.
"Yep. But she's probably having more fun than us," yawned Prue. She stretched, and then got under the covers. "C'mon. Let's go to sleep now." Phoebe crawled under the covers, and within minutes the two were fast asleep.
"Okay, Piper, can you go get the kids? Prue, go get Leo, Leo and Josh from the basement please," said Piper2. It was later that day, and both Pipers had just cooked a large dinner.
Piper went upstairs, and peeked into her mothers' old bedroom, which had been changed into Sarah, Patty and Melinda's bedroom. All five kids were sitting on the floor playing Monopoly.
"Hey guys. Dinner's ready," said Piper. The kids quickly packed up and followed her downstairs. Phoebe had come over to join them, and after a quick introduction everyone began eating.
Half an hour later, the kids excused themselves and ran upstairs, but the adults stayed downstairs, still talking. Eventually, Phoebe left, saying she had to work early the next morning.
"What job does Phoebe have?" Piper asked as Phoebe shut the door behind her. "Oh, Phoebe's a vet," replied Prue.
Piper2 walked over to the stairs and called up, "Hey Sarah, can you bring the photo album down?"
"Okay!" a minute later, Sarah, Patty and Melinda came downstairs, Sarah holding the photo album. The girls brought into the kitchen, where the two Pipers and Prue were sitting around the table. Sarah handed it to Piper2, and Piper2 opened it up. The girls stood behind their mother as she went through the album.
"Here's Sarah and Patty asleep when they were just brought home from the hospital. And here's Leo asleep with Patty on the couch," smiled Piper2. The six of them went through the album, laughing over some photos. As they were halfway through, a demon suddenly appeared. Melinda looked up, and threw her hands up. Instead of vanquishing, or freezing like she'd hoped, she accidentally blew up the microwave.
"Damn it!" she cried.
"Mel, language!" warned Piper2 as she froze him. But the demon deflected her freezing and threw her against the wall.
"Quick, aunt Prue! Now!" said Sarah, and her and Prue went still. They projected themselves on either side of the demon and kicked. Their feet connected, and he roared in pain. He glared at Melinda, and said, "I'll be back. And you will be the first I kill." He then shimmered out of the room. "How dare he threaten my daughter!" cried Piper2 as she slowly got up, clutching her head. A trickle of blood was seeping out.
"Hold still." Melinda held her hand over her mother's cut and healed her.
"Thanks sweetie. Is everyone else okay?" asked Piper2.
"No. I got cut by a piece of flying microwave. But I'll live," said Patty.
"Is everyone okay? I heard yelling," said Leo as he, Josh and Leo2 came running in.
"You're a bit late. But we're fine. I cut my head, but Mel healed me. Patty's cut her arm though," replied Piper2.
Leo walked over to her, and healed her.
"Thanks Leo. I mean Dad. I mean, whatever," said Patty.
"Well, it's ten thirty, so I think we should be getting to bed," yawned Prue.
"Good idea. C'mon, lets go," replied Leo2. Everyone began walking upstairs, amid goodnights. The kids headed off to be, and the two Pipers went to tuck them in.
Piper gave all three girls a hug, and then as she was hugging Melinda she whispered, "don't worry about your power being out of control. I'm not used to mine, either."
She then turned out the light and shut the door. As she walked down the hallway, she peeked into Grams' old room, which had now been changed into the boys' bedroom. Peter and Dominic were fast asleep. She continued down the hallway, and into the guest bedroom that was once Phoebe's bedroom. She quickly got changed into nightclothes that Piper2 had lent her, and got into bed where Leo was waiting for her. "'Night Leo. Love you."
"I love you too, Piper." Leo kissed her, and then closed his eyes. Within minutes they were fast asleep.
Prue woke up the next morning and saw Phoebe still fast asleep. Quietly she got changed and walked downstairs to the kitchen, where Patty was drinking a mug of coffee and reading a part of the newspaper.
"Hey Prue. Did you sleep well?" asked Patty.
"Great. But I have a heap of bruises, thanks to Phoebe. She kicks so much while she sleeps."
Patty laughed. "Help yourself to coffee, or toast, or whatever."
Prue walked over to the counter and poured herself a cup of coffee. She then sat down at the table and picked up the other part of the newspaper. The two read and sipped their coffee, occasionally telling each other bits and pieces. And then little Piper walked in.
"Hi Mom. Hi Lucy," she said shyly.
"Morning Piper," replied Prue. She got up to put her empty coffee mug in the sink, but tripped over her chair leg and the coffee mug flew out of her hands. Little Piper reached out to catch it, but instead the mug froze in mid-air.
"Oh my god. What's happening?" trembled little Piper. Prue grabbed the coffee mug out of mid-air and put it in the sink. Patty got up and gave her daughter a hug.
"What do you mean, Piper, honey?" she said, shooting a quick look at Prue that said 'Don't tell her a thing about you-know-what.'
"Th-th-that coffee m-mug. It st-stopped in m-m-mid-air," little Piper stuttered.
"What are you talking about?" asked Patty. She wrapped little Piper in a bear hug. "You must have been seeing things, honey. There was no flying coffee mug. Now why don't you run upstairs and get changed?"
Little Piper hurried upstairs, looking behind her shoulder. When she was gone, Patty told Prue, "I'm going to go get your grandmother up, you go check the Book of Shadows for a binding spell." The two ran upstairs, but Prue kept going up. As the attic door opened, she saw Phoebe already going through the Book.
"What are you doing?" asked Prue.
"Oh, hi Prue. I'm looking through the Book, why?" replied Phoebe.
"Well, I need a binding spell. To bind a witches' powers," Prue told her. Phoebe shuffled through the book, and then stopped at a page.
"Here. To bound a witches' powers. Just repeat the spell and the witch will forget everything about being a witch, and won't be able to use her powers," said Phoebe. "Why do you need it?"
"Well, in the kitchen, I dropped a coffee mug and little Piper froze it. Mom told her she was seeing things, or something, then when little Piper went out of the room she told me to get a binding spell while she woke Grams."
"Have you got it?" asked Patty as she entered the attic.
"Yep. Where's Piper?" asked Prue.
"She's in her room. C'mon, lets get this over with." The three witches left the attic and were in Piper's room in seconds. Patty and Prue went over to little Piper and held her hands, while Phoebe read out the spell. There was a flash of blinding white light.
"What are you doing in my room?" asked little Piper.
"Uh, you fainted downstairs. We brought you up here, and you've woken up," lied Phoebe.
"Oh. Okay then," replied little Piper. Patty, Prue and Phoebe left the room so little Piper could get changed out of her PJ's.
"Well, that was a close one," commented Patty.
"Yeah," said Prue. "No offence Mom, but I'd really like to get back to the year 2001. I like it here, but it's hard living in another name and not being able to use my you-know-what."
"I agree. Is Grams up yet?" asked Phoebe.
"No. But she has to work today, so I was thinking that the three of us and Piper could go shopping, and then out to lunch," said Patty.
"I'd love that," said Phoebe. Looking at her watch, she said, "We better hurry if we want to shop before we have lunch. It's already ten-fifteen."
"Morning Leo, Prue. Hungry?" asked Piper2 the next morning.
"Mmm, waffles!" said Prue, inhaling deeply. Piper2 set a plate of waffles on the kitchen table and Piper set down mugs of steaming coffee. Leo, Prue and the two Pipers' sat down at the table and had just begun eating when they heard a scream from upstairs. The women jumped up and headed for the stairs, but Leo orbed up to the girls' room. There he saw Mel laying on the ground with a cut up her arm. Sarah and Patty lay unconscious on the floor.
"Oh my god. What happened?" asked Piper.
Leo bent over Melinda and healed her arm. "Erutuf shimmered in. Patty and Sarah were asleep, but I was in bed reading. He was about to shoot a fireball at Patty, but I crept up and kicked him. He cut my arm with a knife, and then I screamed. Patty and Sarah woke up, but before they could do anything he threw them into the wall. Then he shimmered out," sobbed Mel. Prue knelt over Patty and woke her up.
"What happened? Where'd the demon go?" asked a confused Patty.
"Never mind him. He's gone," soothed Piper2.
Piper pulled Sarah into her lap and felt for a pulse. Sarah's pulse was strong. Piper tried to wake her, but she stayed unconscious.
"Hey, hi. Little help here," Piper said to Leo. Leo knelt down next to Piper and put his hands over Sarah. A few seconds later she woke up. "What the…" "Don't worry, you're okay. The demon is go-" Piper stopped in mid sentence. Jumping up, she ran to the bathroom and threw up.
"You okay, honey?" asked Prue, who followed Piper.
"I felt sick for a second," said Piper, breathing deeply. Then she fainted. Prue yelled out to Leo2, who rushed in and leaned over Piper. He held his hands above her and she woke up.
"What happened?" she asked groggily.
"You threw up in the toilet. Then you fainted," explained Prue. Leo2 picked Piper up, carried her into the girls' bedroom and laid her on Patty's bed. Piper2 hung up the phone on the desk by Sarah's bed. "I just called the doctor. You have an appointment at eleven," Piper2 told Piper.
"Piper!" complained Piper1.
"Don't blame me! Blame him," said Piper2, nodding her head at Leo
"Honey, last time you were sick you ended up having Arroyo Fever. I'm not taking any chances," said Leo firmly. Piper glared at him, and then looked at Piper2.
"I can't remember," said Piper2. "It happened 11 years ago. Don't look at me."
"You better go and get ready now, because it's already ten thirty," said Prue. Piper sighed and left the room. Piper2 also left because she was going to take Piper.
"I had a great day," sighed Phoebe with happiness. Prue, Patty and little Piper had just gotten back from a day of shopping, lunch and then the movies. They were all content, but warn out. Although they got back at four, Prue fell asleep in bed almost immediately.
"Well, hello. Have fun today?" asked Grams as she walked into the kitchen. "Yeah, it was heaps of fun," grinned Phoebe.
"Well, Piper, do you want to help me cook dinner?" asked Grams as she began getting out things for dinner.
"Okay," replied Piper shyly. The two began preparing the evening meal, and Phoebe and Patty went upstairs to have showers and get changed. An hour later everyone was in the kitchen eating dinner. It was a quick meal, and when they were finished they all watched a movie in the living room. Once the movie was over they all went to bed.
That night, Phoebe woke up. She didn't know what woke her, but as she looked around the room, a demon appeared. It was Tsap.
"Whoa, Prue!" yelled Phoebe. Prue awoke with a start. Phoebe levitated and kicked Tsap in the stomach, but it did nothing to him. Prue threw him with her power and he crashed into the bed. She fumbled around for the potion that Grams had given them, and when she found it she hurled it at him. Tsap screamed, turned into flames and disappeared in a pile of ash.
"Wow," said Prue.
"Ew! His eyeball seems to be dripping off the fan," said a disgusted Phoebe. She grabbed a few tissues, scooped up the eye and tossed it into the bin. "Okay, why aren't we back in our time yet?" complained Prue. "We vanquished Tsap, what more do we have to do?"
Suddenly Phoebe got a premonition. She saw Piper and Leo appear at a shopping mall. There was a huge clock hanging on the wall, which had the date. The date was November the 17th. Then the scene changed to the kitchen in the Manor. The calendar on the wall said that the date was the 21st of November. Piper, another Piper (but older looking) and a pair of twins were standing around, when a demon appeared. Piper vanquished him with her power, and she disappeared in a flash of green light.
"What did you see?" asked Prue.
Phoebe thought for a moment. "I saw Piper vanquish a demon. But, I have figured out that we have to wait for the amount of time that it took Piper to vanquish the demon. Which is four days. Don't ask, it's a long premonition to explain," she added as she saw Prue's puzzled face.
"Okay then. We should be here for about two days then," said Prue.
"Mrs Halliwell, the doctor's ready to see you now," said the secretary at the doctor's office. Piper and Piper2 were at the doctor's office, and as they were heading into the clinic room Piper2 whispered, "The doctor, Dr. Andrews knows about us being witches."
"Ah, good day Piper. And who would this be?" asked Dr. Andrews as the two women sat in the plastic chairs.
"Uh, this is me – from the past. Long story," said Piper2 quickly.
"Well, what can I do for you?" he asked. Piper explained about being sick, and fainting, and having Arroyo Fever.
"Well, can you please lay down on the table?" the doctor asks. Piper does as he asks and he runs a few tests.
"Well, I'll call you with the test results around one tomorrow. I presume you're staying at the Manor?" he asked Piper.
"Yes. Thanks, bye." Piper and Piper2 left the clinic, and climbed into the car. "Well. That went okay, don't you think?"
"Yep. Now, let's go home," replied Piper2. They drove home, and when they arrived they found the Manor empty. There was a note on the fridge for them.
"'Prue and the kids are at Phoebe's. Young Leo, Josh and I have gone out. We'll be back around two. Love you, Leo.' Okay, so we have the house to ourselves. What do you want to do?" said Piper2. After a bit of chatting, they decided to go down to P3. They grabbed their coats and ten minutes later, arrived at the club.
"Wow," admired Piper as she entered the club. By the looks of it, P3 had an extension built on it, and the stage had been fixed up.
"It's a bit harder taking care and running the club, especially now that I-we have Quake and the kids," said Piper2. "But it's fun. It's my life."
"Yeah, I know what you mean," replied Piper. The two went into the kitchen and began making sandwiches. When they finished making them and had gotten drinks, the sat down to eat their lunch.
Prue and Phoebe told Patty and Grams about vanquishing Tsap, and Phoebe's premonition the next morning.
"Well, now that Tsap is gone, you can enjoy your stay here," smiled Patty.
"I get to spend time with my daughters, all grown up."
"Well, then. You go home tomorrow, so lets all enjoy today while we can," said Penny. The four women made plans for the day, and then went upstairs to get ready. As she passed by Pipers' door, Penny knocked and quickly told Piper what they were going to do that day.
An hour later, the five females packed themselves into the car. They drove for half an hour, and pulled up at an almost deserted beach. They got out, and carrying their stuff, they headed onto the sand. Quickly, the five spread out towels and stripped down to their swimmers. Penny laid down on her towel and watched her daughter and granddaughters play in the water. "This is so much fun!" cried Phoebe, brushing her hair out of her eyes. The sun shone down on them, and they began throwing a beach ball around. They were hitting it back and forth, when it got a bit windy and the ball blew over Pipers' head.
"I'll get it!" called Piper as she began paddling over to the ball. Suddenly, she went under the water, and came up spluttering. "Help!" she cried, before going back under. Reacting quickly, Prue swam over to where little Piper was drowning and dove under. Finding an arm, Prue grabbed hold and pulled it upwards.
"You okay?" Prue asked Piper.
"My leg's caught on some reeds!" exclaimed Piper, and slipped out of Prue's grasp. Patty swam over and grabbed hold of the struggling girl, while Prue ducked under the water and released Pipers' leg. Together, Patty and Prue dragged Piper over to shore, where Phoebe and Penny were waiting anxiously.
"Piper, honey, you're okay now," reassured Penny. The four elder women helped Piper dry off, and they packed the car up, and drove off. They stopped at the park, and chose a spot to eat. Then they unpacked the picnic hamper, and had lunch.
The rest of the day was uneventful. After lunch, they went back to the Manor and played Monopoly for the rest of the afternoon.
The two Piper's got back to the Manor to find the house still empty, and the phone ringing. Piper2 rushed in the kitchen and grabbed it.
"Hello?" said Piper2.
"Oh, hi Piper. This is Emily. Is Melinda there?"
"No, she's out at the moment. When she gets in I'll get her to call you back."
Piper ransacked through the cupboard for a bag of chips, while Piper2 poured coffee. Then Prue, Phoebe, the boys, Mel and the twins walked in.
"Hey. How'd your appointment go?" said Phoebe.
"Oh, fine," replied Piper.
"Well. It's one thirty, so who wants to do what?" asked Prue.
"I've got a project due in when school starts that I've had three weeks to do and haven't started," said Patty.
"Patty, school starts in four days!" said Piper2, wagging her finger at her.
"I'll help her," volunteered Phoebe, winking at Mel.
"Um, me and Peter are going to play on the swings, aren't we Peter?" said Dominic.
'Yes." The two boys ran out the back door. Sarah looked around the kitchen. "I'm going to, um, what can I do?" asked Sarah.
"You can clean your room," said Piper2 mischievously.
"Uh, actually, I think I know what I'm going to do," said Sarah and running up the stairs.
"Emily called," Piper2 told Melinda. Melinda grabbed the phone and ran out of the room.
The three women got themselves mugs of coffee and went outside into the yard. They sat at the table and watched the boys play. After a moment of silence, Piper spoke.
"I was wondering, why are you and Leo still together? I mean, I was sent to the future before, and we were separated, and the twins and Dominic weren't born, and Prue's hair was blonde," she questioned.
"Well, after Melinda was born, Leo and I began to have a few problems, because he was always away on white lighter business. But I told him about the time when I went into the future, and we sorted things out. And Prue decided she hated blonde hair," replied Piper2.
"Yeah, it didn't suit me," joked Prue. The three witches sat there and chatted until the men got home, and then they went inside to tell Leo about the good news.
The last night that Prue and Phoebe were going to stay in the past was spent on the couch, talking. Little Piper had gone to bed, and the four witches were eating popcorn in the living room. Phoebe was telling Grams and her mother about Piper's wedding.
"Piper looked beautiful. It would have been a perfect wedding, but knowing our luck, something went wrong," said Phoebe.
"What happened?" asked Grams.
"Prue's astral form went out of control. She had been having dreams about being at a biker bar, and getting arrested for killing someone that she didn't kill. It turned out to be her astral form actually going there, and she also got a boyfriend. But halfway during Piper's wedding, her boyfriend came roaring into the house on his bike, and Prue's astral form appeared and went off with him."
"Oh, Prue," said Patty, shaking her head.
"I know, I still feel guilty. Piper actually called off the wedding. But I finally got under control, thanks to Phoebe, you, mom, and dad, managed to convince Piper that the wedding was meant to happen and Piper an Leo got married at midnight," said Prue.
"Wow. That must have been some wedding," said Grams.
"Oh, don't worry, you'll be able to see it in oh, what, 29 years?" said Phoebe.
"Wait, you mean I got back together with Victor?" asked Patty.
Prue looked at Phoebe sadly. "Actually, you didn't. You died, Mom. You died when I was 10, but I can't tell you how. I can't change destiny. I've tried, but I can't," said Phoebe. A tear slipped down her cheek.
"Oh, my," said Patty. She got up and gave her two daughters a big hug. When they sat back down, Phoebe continued.
"They let you come to the wedding, not as a ghost, but as yourself. But Grams, you were a ghost. You died three and a half years ago. Hang on, that's not right. You died, um, six months before we got our powers, which would be 1997."
"You know, if I had known I was going to come to the past, I would have brought the wedding album, and a few more things," said Prue.
"Oh well. You might come back another time, and you might even be more, uh, prepared," said Patty.
"Oh, we're out of popcorn," put in Prue. "I'll go put the bowl in the sink." "Uh, there's a pack of chips in the cupboard," suggested Grams.
"Okay." Prue went into the kitchen and pulled the chips out of the cupboard, but she wasn't concentrating and pulled out a packet of spaghetti. She swapped bags, and walked back into the living room, thinking. She missed Piper, and Leo, and wondered how they were doing in the future.
"What's wrong Prue?" asked Phoebe as Prue came into the living room. "You look sad."
"I just miss Piper, that's all," replied Prue, trying not to show her emotions.
"Don't worry, you'll see her tomorrow," reassured Patty.
"I suppose. Anyway, she can take care of herself," said Prue.
The next day was a busy one. Quake had to opened, and both Pipers and Melinda spent almost all day there, preparing food and helping the waiters and waitresses. Then they both had to leave at five, and go to P3. There was a loose pipe at P3, and the club had flooded, so both Leo's and Josh spent almost all day there, cleaning up and fixing the pipe. Phoebe had to go to the vets' for an emergency, and when she finally got home at four, she spent most of the evening at the Manor. Prue had a big photo shoot that day. The twins ended up staying at the Manor, baby-sitting for Dom and Peter. Mel joined them at six, after a hard day helping out at Quake.
Eventually, P3 closed at one in the morning, and with magical help in cleaning the room, the adults finally got to their homes and fell straight into bed.
The next day, everyone was tired, and they all got up at ten. Piper was the first one up, and went downstairs. She read the newspaper over a steaming mug of coffee, and as she was halfway done, Piper2 walked in. "Morning," yawned Piper2. She poured herself a mug of coffee, and then noticed a message on the answering machine. She played it, and the two witches heard Dr Andrews voice.
"Uh, hi Piper. Um, the test results came back, and it's good news. You're going to have a baby! Congratulations."
Piper stared; open mouthed at her future self.
"Oh my god! Wow!" cried Piper2, hugging Piper.
"I'm pregnant? I'm pregnant! Oh my god!" cried Piper. The two grabbed each other and danced around the kitchen.
"Geez, they must be on drugs, or something," said Leo to Josh as the two walked into the kitchen.
"Leo! You're going to be a dad!" squealed Piper. Leo grabbed Piper and gave her a huge hug, then kissed her. "I'm going to be a dad," was all he could say.
By lunchtime that day, everyone in the house knew, including Phoebe. They all had a celebration lunch, but as the were halfway through the meal,
Erutuf shimmered in "I'm back!" he said, smirking at them.
We're going home today," said Prue the next day as she, Phoebe and Patty were eating lunch together.
"As much as I miss Piper, I don't really want to leave," replied Phoebe.
"Well, I don't want you o go, either. But who knows, I might see you again in the future, as a human," said Patty. She held out her arms, and the three embraced. They stayed like that for a few minutes, when Phoebe pulled away.
"I have to go to the bathroom, really urgently," she called as she ran from the room. Prue looked at her mother. There were tears in Patty's eyes.
"At least I know what you've grown up to be," said Patty. "Sure, I found out at Piper's wedding, but that time is years away for me, and it has already gone for you."
Prue started to cry. "I love you, mom."
The two held each other. Phoebe ran back in the room, and as she did a vortex appeared.
"I love you, mom!" cried Phoebe as she was pulled into the vortex. Prue was sucked in right after her, and then the vortex disappeared. Patty was left alone.
Piper jumped up from the table and tried to freeze Erutuf. Instead of him freezing, the clothesline blew up.
"Let me try," said Melinda, and she threw her hands out. The already broken clothesline broke even more. Erutuf glared at Melinda, and shot a flame ball at her. She orbed out, but got hit partly and lay on the floor, unconscious. Leo grabbed Peter and Dominic's hands, and orbed them into the house, where it was safer. Leo2 did the same with the twins.
Prue astral projected herself behind him and stabbed a knife into his back. He laughed and pulled it out, and shoved it into Prue's astral form. The form disappeared, and Prue appeared in her normal body. Piper2 threw her hands out and froze him.
"Hey, I was trying to kill him!" she cried.
"Forget that, he seems to be deflecting the freeze!" yelled Josh. Phoebe concentrated hard, and a black cat appeared in front of Erutuf.
"Ahh!" he screamed, and stumbled backwards, tripping over Mel. Piper concentrated as hard as she could, and flung her hands out. In a burst of flames, Erutuf was banished to hell for eternity. Then, a shimmering vortex appeared, just as Leo orbed outside. He and Piper were pulled into it, and the vortex disappeared.
"Prue! Phoebe!" cried Piper as she and Leo appeared in the kitchen. She gave her sisters a big huh, and then checked the calendar. The date was the 17th of November 2001.
"Were you okay in the future?" asked Prue.
"Oh, Leo ad I had a great time, didn't we, Leo?" said Piper, laughing. He grabbed her and pulled her into a hug. "So, how were things in the past?" asked Piper.
"It was great! We got to spend time with Mom, and Grams, and you when you were little! But out past selves were at a camp," replied Prue.
"Well, guess what?" said Piper.
"What?" said Phoebe.
Piper looked at Leo. "I'm going to have a baby!"
"Really? I'm gonna be an aunt! Oh, wow!" cried Prue. The four of them hugged again, and then sat down at the table, where their still-warm breakfast was waiting for them, exactly how they left it. Then they began to tell each other what they had done over the four days that they had been gone…
