Elizabeth awoke when she heard her alarm go off. She had spent the past few weeks spending a lot of time with her sisters. They had managed to work out all their differences and for the first time since her supernatural arrival she felt like she truly belonged. Since she arrived they had treated her like a normal little sister but she was anything but normal. For nearly two years she had gone to school made exceptional grades in order to make her sisters proud. Then Prue died and her life, as well as the life of her two older sisters, had been flipped upside down and she had been thrust into a life that they had tried to protect her from. When she started to slip away from her sisters they pulled her back to them and they overcame their pain together as a family. Elizabeth only had one more week until she would continue the Halliwell legacy and graduate from Baker High. Today would be the day that she found out if she would be the first Halliwell to graduate Valedictorian of her class. Elizabeth wanted the title more than anything so that she could give back something to the family that had given her so much since she arrived.

Elizabeth quickly got out of bed and got dressed. For two years she had liked a guy named Adam Michaels but things were complicated when they became friends. She never wanted to take it to the next level because she was afraid of losing his friendship. But this morning she was going to meet him in front of the school and they were going to go together and find out who was in the lead for Valedictorian. Elizabeth finished getting ready and headed downstairs. She headed into the kitchen where she knew her sisters and their guys would be.

Piper and Phoebe noticed the nervous smile on her face as she entered the kitchen.

Piper "Big day huh?"

Elizabeth "Yeah…to big."

Phoebe "Don't worry you'll get it."

Elizabeth "I wish I could be as confident as you two."

Piper "Would you like me to make you something for breakfast?"

Elizabeth "Thanks but I think I'm too nervous to eat."

Elizabeth went over to the fridge and got some juice then she sat down next to her sisters.

Piper "Would you like me to drive you to school on my way to the club?"

Elizabeth "That would be great. I told Adam I would meet him in front of the school. He's going to provide moral support."

Phoebe "Adam…huh."

Piper "You and Adam have been friends for what now…2 years. Don't tell me you don't feel anything for him."

Elizabeth "We're just really good friends."

Phoebe "That would make you the first Halliwell to have a guy friend and not have feelings for him."

Piper "I hate to admit this but she's right."

Elizabeth "Well…maybe I like him just a little bit."

Phoebe "Just a little bit?"

Elizabeth "Okay a lot."

Piper looks at her watch.

Piper "You'd better go grab your book bag and we can get going."

Elizabeth leaves and heads upstairs. Piper turns to Phoebe.

Phoebe "Are we still on for tonight."

Piper "You bet on it. I shut down P3 for a private party."

Phoebe "Yeah our private party. What happens if she doesn't get it?"

Piper "We'll deal with that if and I mean if that happens but it won't."

Phoebe "How can you be so sure?"

Piper "Call it big sister instinct."

Elizabeth comes down stairs and into the kitchen.

Piper "You ready?"

Elizabeth "Yes."

Piper "Then lets get going."

Phoebe stands up and walks over to Elizabeth and gives her a big hug.

Phoebe "Good luck little sis."

Elizabeth "Thanks Phoebes."

Piper and Elizabeth head out to Piper's car. On the way to the school Piper thinks of the item she has in the glove compartment. As they reach the school Piper pulls over into a gravel lot a few blocks from the school. Piper puts the car in park and receives a puzzled look from Elizabeth.

Elizabeth "Piper what's going on?"

Piper leans over her and reaches into the glove compartment. She pulls out a box and looks at Elizabeth.

Piper "I wanted to continue a Halliwell tradition."

Piper pauses thinking about how she got the item in the box.

Piper "The week before my graduation Prue drove me to school and she pulled over in this very lot. She wanted me to know how proud of me she was."

Piper hands Elizabeth the box.

Piper "Now I want you to know how proud of you I am. You've only been with us for a couple of years but in that time you have done nothing but make us proud to call you our sister. We're still a family and still the Charmed Ones because of you. Phoebe wanted to be here today but she had a interview to go to, but she wanted me to tell you how proud of you she was."

Elizabeth opens the box and sees a necklace with a charm on it. The charm read, "Sisters Forever." On the back it read, "Love, Piper, Phoebe, and Prue."

Elizabeth looks up at Piper and smiles.

Elizabeth "Thank you…this means a lot."

Piper "Phoebe and I debated over whether or not to put Prue's name on it but we realized that she started this tradition so she deserved her name on it."

Elizabeth "I miss her Piper."

Piper "I know you do…we all do. But I know that she is looking down on us right now smiling."

Piper looks at Elizabeth and smiles.

Piper "Let's get you to school. We wouldn't want to keep Adam waiting for to long."

Elizabeth "Funny Piper."

Piper puts the car in drive and heads off towards the school. She stops in front of the building. Piper leans over and hugs Elizabeth.

Pipe "I'd say go make us proud but you already have. I know you'll get this. Good luck."

Adam sees Piper's Jeep drive up so he walks over to the Jeep and opens Elizabeth's door.

Adam "Hi, Piper."

Piper "Hello Adam."

Adam "You ready to go Elizabeth?"

Elizabeth "As ready as I'll ever be."

Elizabeth gets out and turns around before closing the door.

Elizabeth "Thanks Piper."

Piper "Have fun."

Elizabeth shuts the door and walks off with Adam. Piper watches and wonders what went through Prue's mind when she had done this. Piper had been forced into the position of eldest sister so she was still learning as she went along. Piper drove off to the club.

Back at the manor. Phoebe is walking into the living room when Cole shimmers in right in front of her. Phoebe goes into a defensive mode until she sees that it's Cole.

Cole "Hi, sweetheart."

He pulls her into a passionate kiss.

Phoebe "You're getting to be as bad as Leo."

Just then Leo orbs in behind her.

Leo "Did I hear my name?"

Phoebe "Normal guys use the door but you two just orb and shimmer in."

Cole "It keeps you guessing."

Leo "Keeps life interesting."

Phoebe "Why do I have the feeling that you're both here for a reason?"

Leo "I don't know why Cole is here but Piper told me about the party tonight and she asked me if I could help out."

Cole "Same here."

Phoebe "I was just heading over to the club to help Piper."

Cole "I thought you had an interview this morning."

Phoebe "I did but the guy that I was going to meet with ate at a Chinese place and got food poisoning. So his office called saying he would have to reschedule."

Leo "Talking about bad luck."

Cole "Poor guy."

Phoebe "So one of you going to orb me there or are you guys going to make me take the car."

Cole "Of course not sweetheart."

Cole holds onto Phoebe and all three of them transport to P3. They all startle Piper with there entrance.

Piper "Doesn't anyone use a door any more."

Leo and Cole both look at each other and share a look of curiosity on the way sisters work.

Phoebe "Already had that conversation with them."

They all walk over to the bar.

Phoebe "So how many people have been confirmed so far?"

Piper "Last time I checked the number was 50 and rising."

Cole "What happens if she doesn't…"

He is cut off when Phoebe throws her hand over his mouth.

Phoebe "Don't ask."

Back at Baker High, Adam and Elizabeth make their way to the office to find out who got the top spot. As they enter the office they see several people around the bulletin board. They make there way through the crowd and listed next to Valedictorian was the name Elizabeth Halliwell. Elizabeth was so happy she turned around and threw her arms around Adam's neck.

Elizabeth "I can't believe this I did it."

Adam "I never doubted that you would get it."

Elizabeth and Adam head out into the hall but not before Adam grabs the paper and photocopies it. He put the copy up on the board and hands Elizabeth the original.

Elizabeth "You didn't have to do that."

Adam "You deserve to have the original."

Elizabeth "So what are you doing tonight?"

Adam "I've got plans. Why?"

Elizabeth "I was just thinking this deserved a celebration."

Adam "It's a pretty busy night. There are a lot of parties going on. Why don't you wait a day or two when more people can come."

Elizabeth "Sounds like an plan."

Adam just smiled at her. Piper had called him last night and told him about the party. So, he knew that Elizabeth had no idea what was going on. The bell rings for classes to start.

Adam "I've gotta go but I'll catch you later Liz."

Elizabeth "See ya."

The rest of the day went by so slow. All Elizabeth could think of was getting home and telling her sisters. When the final class ended she met Adam by her locker and he gave her a ride home. He let her off in front of the house knowing that he would see her in a few short hours. He secretly had a crush on her but never acted on his feelings because he didn't want to ruin there friendship plus he had a few secrets of his own that he was afraid would come out if he acted on his feelings.

In the manor Piper, Phoebe, Cole, and Leo are in the living room when they hear the door open. They all watch as Elizabeth comes into the room with an uncertain look on there face. For a while they all think that she didn't get it then she gets a big smile on her face. Elizabeth takes the paper Adam had given her and hands it to Piper and Phoebe. They both read it and all of a sudden all the girls start screaming and hugging each other. Cole and Leo stand out of harms way and wait till things calm down. Then they both walk over to Elizabeth.

Cole "You deserve this Liz. Congratulations."

Cole hugs Elizabeth then Leo walks up to her.

Leo "You've been through a lot in the past few years. If anyone deserved this honor it was you. Congratulations."

Then Leo hugs her.

Piper and Phoebe look at each other. Piper has some more work to do to get the club ready to go for the party tonight. Phoebe looks at Elizabeth.

Phoebe "This calls for a shopping spree. Go put your stuff down and I'll take you shopping."

Elizabeth "I'm not going to argue."

Elizabeth runs upstairs and the four of them huddle together.

Piper "Okay Phoebe you take her shopping but have her back her when we planned. We'll meet here and tell her that we're going to take her with us to the club tonight to celebrate her getting it."

Phoebe "You can count on me."

Piper "Cole…Leo you're both with me. I need your help getting the club ready."

Cole and Leo "Okay.

Just then Elizabeth comes back downstairs. Phoebe smiles at Piper as Elizabeth walks over to them.

Phoebe "You ready to go?"

Elizabeth "Yes."

Piper "Have fun you two."

With that Phoebe and Elizabeth leave. Piper looks at Cole and Leo.

Piper "We had better get going and since Phoebe just took my Jeep I'm going to need some transportation."

Leo walks over to her and they hug each other.

Leo "You don't have to ask twice."

Leo, Cole, and Piper transport to the club. As soon as they are at P3 they go to work and begin getting things finished and ready for the party. Several hours' later things are almost finished.

Piper "One more thing."

Piper hands Cole and Leo a folded up banner that read 'Congratulation Elizabeth We're All Proud of You!!!'

Leo "Great banner."

Piper "Phoebe helped me make it last night."

Cole "Let's get this thing hung up."

After a few minutes of trying the guys finally get it the way Piper wants it. Piper looks down at her watch.

Piper "Phoebe should be bringing Elizabeth back to the manor any minute now. We had better get back."

With that Leo takes hold of Piper again and they all head back to the manor. As soon as they are gone Adam transports into P3.

Adam looks at the sky.

Adam "Everything is ready."

Adam smiles and leaves as quickly as he appeared.

Back at the Manor Phoebe and Elizabeth pull up into the driveway just as the others orb into the manor. Piper, Cole, and Leo all scatter to look like they had been there for a while.

Elizabeth and Phoebe walk into the house carrying several bags. Piper smiles and Phoebe.

Piper walks over to them.

Piper "Did you two have fun shopping?"

Phoebe "What does it look like."

Phoebe points at the bags.

Piper "Well I hope you bought some party clothes Elizabeth."

Elizabeth "Why?"

Piper "Because we're going to take you with us tonight to P3."

Piper and Phoebe see a big smile light up on Elizabeth's face.

Elizabeth "But I'm only seventeen. Isn't it slightly illegal for me to be there?"

Piper "I know the owner."

Piper smiles at Elizabeth.

Piper "Just go get ready. Its time to have some fun after all that studying you have been doing."

Elizabeth goes upstairs to get ready.

Piper "Okay…Leo, Cole I want both of you to go to the club and welcome the guests. Phoebe and I will stay here and finish getting ready then we will bring Elizabeth to the club."

Leo and Cole head upstairs to get dressed then they both transport to the club. Back at the Manor Elizabeth comes downstairs and they all get into Piper's Jeep and head to the club.

When they reach the club Elizabeth doesn't see the normal line outside the door.

Piper "Looks like it is going to be a slow night."

Piper smiles at Phoebe.

Phoebe "Lets go party."

They head in to the club with Elizabeth in front of them. Piper walks in beside her and as they enter Elizabeth sees that the lights are off. Piper hits the light switch on the wall and everyone screams surprise. Piper and Phoebe see the surprised look on their baby sister's face.

Piper and Phoebe lean towards Elizabeth.

Piper and Phoebe "Congratulations."

They head off into the crowd and begin to party. Shortly after they arrive Adam walks over to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth "You knew about this."

Adam "Told you there was a big party tonight."

Elizabeth "I guess you did."

Adam hears a slow song playing.

Adam offers his hand.

Adam "May I have this dance?"

Elizabeth puts her hand in his.

Elizabeth "I thought you would never ask."

They dance several songs together before walking over to the bar to get a drink.

Piper and Phoebe are both sitting at the bar watching the festivities. They both smile at Elizabeth and Adam together. Elizabeth sits next to Phoebe and Adam next to her.

Piper "What will it be?"

Elizabeth "Coke."

Adam "Same."

Piper "Two Cokes it is."

Piper hands them the drinks. They both head over to a private booth and sit there talking for a while. The party slowly starts to dwindle down and Adam realizes that he has to leave.

Adam "I'd better get home before I'm missed."

Elizabeth "Thanks for tonight."

Adam "Maybe we can do it again."

Elizabeth "I'd like that."

Adam leans over and kisses her.

Elizabeth smiles at him then he leaves. Once he is gone she walks over to her sisters.

Phoebe "Just friends…huh."

Elizabeth "Maybe more."

Piper "Maybe?!"

Elizabeth "One night's not enough to tell."

Piper "I'd say he likes you a lot and I know you like him."

Elizabeth "Well he did ask me if we could do this again."

Phoebe "And?"

Elizabeth "And I told him that I'd like that."

Phoebe and Piper both smile at her. A few minutes later the guests are gone and only Piper, Phoebe, Elizabeth, Leo, and Cole remain in the club. They are getting ready to leave the club when a dark lighter orbs in front of them.

Piper "Leo…get out of here!"

Phoebe "The day wouldn't be complete with out a little evil thrown in."

Elizabeth "Don't you guys ever rest?"

Dark Lighter "Not until all of you are dead."

Piper "Well isn't that nice."

Phoebe "Hate to disappoint you but no one is dying tonight. Plus we out number you."

Just then five more dark lighters orb in.

Piper "Phoebe…for now on keep your mouth shut!"

Phoebe "How was I supposed to know he had reinforcements?"

Cole "I think now would be a good time for a quick escape."

Elizabeth "How do you suggest we get out of here?"

Cole "You grab Piper and I'll take Phoebe and we transport them out of here."

Piper "Sounds good to me."

Phoebe "I second that."

Before they can do anything the Dark Lighters start shooting and attacking. Phoebe delivers some quick kicks and levitates to avoid the arrows and attackers. Cole destroys one with a fireball. Elizabeth is fighting two dark lighters. Piper blows two of them up. Just then one of the dark lighters Elizabeth is fighting gets away and heads for Piper. Elizabeth realized that she had white lighter blood but she knew she had to save Piper. Elizabeth orbs in behind Piper just as the dark lighter that went after Piper fires an arrow laced with fatal poison. Piper turns around just as Elizabeth is hit. Piper catches her as she collapses to the ground. Cole turns around to see what is happening and he quickly throws a fireball destroying the dark lighter that shot Elizabeth. Phoebe breaks away from her attacker and rushes over to her sisters and Cole runs over to them to protect them from the remaining Dark Lighter.

Cole "Time to join your friends."

Dark Lighter "I don't think so. Soon enough the white lighter witch will be dead and the Charmed Ones will die with her. My mission is complete."

Just then he orbs away. Cole turns his attention to the girls.

Piper is holding Elizabeth in her arms. Cole sees the arrow is still in her and he takes control.

Cole "Phoebe go get a cloth."

Phoebe looks at him.

Cole "Now!"

Phoebe gets up and goes over to the bar and grabs a clean cloth.

Piper holds Elizabeth.

Piper "Why…you know your part white lighter."

Elizabeth "I couldn't…couldn't stand by and…and watch you get hurt."

Piper smiles at her while tears run down her face. Piper could see the pain in Elizabeth's eyes.

Piper "And here I was thinking I was supposed to be protecting you."

Phoebe returns with the cloth.

Phoebe with tears running down her face.

Phoebe "What is this for?"

Cole "We have to get that arrow out of her and neither of you can touch it but the poison will not effect me because I have demon blood." Cole turns to Elizabeth. "You ready for this?"

Elizabeth "Just get it out."

Cole "Phoebe…Piper I need both of you to hold her as still as you can. The arrow didn't go all the way through so I have to push it the rest of the way."

Cole breaks the end off the arrow and Elizabeth flinches with the movement.

Cole "Okay here we go."

Piper and Phoebe hold onto Elizabeth while Cole pushes the arrow out. Elizabeth has tears flowing down her face. Cole lays the arrow down and takes the cloth and puts pressure to the wound to try and stop the bleeding then he looks at Piper.

Cole "You'd better call Leo back. She has enough white lighter in her for this to kill her."

Phoebe and Piper both looked at each other. Piper didn't like taking orders from anyone but in this case Piper appreciated someone else taking control.

Piper "Leo!"

Phoebe "Leo!"

Piper and Phoebe "LEO!!"

Just then Leo orbs in and sees Elizabeth on the ground and the arrow next to her.

Leo "Oh god."

Leo runs over to them.

Cole "The poison is working fast."

Piper "Can you heal her?"

Leo "I don't know but I'll try."

Leo puts her hands over the wound but his powers can't heal her.

Piper "Leo…Leo why isn't it working?"

Leo "I don't know Piper."

Elizabeth "Maybe…maybe this…this was…was meant to…to be."

Phoebe "Don't talk like that."

Piper "No…no they are not just going to let another one of our sisters die."

Phoebe "Leo do something."

Leo "There isn't anything I can do."

Piper "If she dies then I quit."

Piper pauses and looks at the sky.

Piper "You hear me…if she dies so do your precious Charmed Ones…if she dies then I will never fight another demon for you…don't take another sister from me."

Piper starts to cry harder as does Phoebe. Cole and Leo both try and comfort them.

Cole "We'll figure something out."

Leo "I hope your right."

Piper and Phoebe hold onto Elizabeth as she fights for every breath.

Piper "Hang in their Elizabeth."

Elizabeth "I'm so tired."

Phoebe "Hang on sweetheart."

Piper "Leo…get up there and find out why you can't heal her."

Leo orbs out.

Piper "Just hang on Elizabeth."

Phoebe "Can't you do something Cole?"

Cole "If I could do something I would of done it by now."

Elizabeth starts to have difficulty to breath.

Piper "Don't you leave us. You can't die."

Elizabeth "This isn't your…your fault…I…I love you."

With that Elizabeth closes her eyes and stops breathing.

Phoebe shakes Elizabeth.

Phoebe "Come back…don't leave us."

Piper "Come back to us…you can't do this."

Piper looks at the ceiling.

Piper "Don't do this…not again…please…please don't take her."

Piper and Phoebe both have tears streaming down their faces. Leo orbs back in.

Leo sees Elizabeth on the ground dead. He walks over to where the girls are and tries to comfort Piper.

Piper "Why?!"

Leo "I don't know."

Cole "What do you mean you don't know?"

Leo "They wouldn't tell me why I couldn't heal her. All they said is that things beyond our comprehension had to happen."

Phoebe "What the hell does that mean…they take another sister from us and will not even tell us why."

Just then Adam orbs in behind them.

Adam "They can't tell you why but I can."

Piper "Adam?"

Phoebe "What…what are you doing here?"

Adam "I'm doing my job."

Piper and Phoebe look at each other.

Piper "And what job would that be?"

Adam steps forward and he is engulfed in a bright white light. He emerges from the light wearing a white suit.

Piper and Phoebe look at Leo.

Piper "That's new."

Leo "You're a Guardian."

Adam "Yes, I am."

Phoebe "A what?"

Leo "A Guardian."

Piper "And that would be?"

Leo "Witches have white lighters and some white lighters have Guardians. I've never actually met one before. There kind of a white lighter myth."

Adam "I assure you Leo we're no myth."

Leo "Your hers aren't you? That's why they wouldn't let me heal her."

Adam "You don't have enough power to heal dark lighter poison and neither do I."

Leo "Then why are you here?"

Adam "No white lighter or Guardian has the power to heal dark lighter poison alone but together we should have enough power to bring her back."

Leo "I can't bring people back from the dead."

Adam "People and witches yes but Elizabeth is part white lighter. We should be able to bring her back."

Piper "Would you two stop talking and just do something!"

Leo and Adam both walk over and kneel next to Elizabeth. They put their hands over her wound.

Adam "Here goes nothing."

Just then they both activate their powers and the wound begins to heal and the poison disappears from her body. All of a sudden she takes a deep breath. Piper and Phoebe both hold her tight. They are both crying tears of happiness. A few minutes later they have all calmed down and Elizabeth notices Adam is there.

Elizabeth "What is going on? What is Adam doing here? How did Leo heal me?"

Phoebe "One question at a time."

They explain everything that happened.

Elizabeth starts to stand up but she is still dizzy after everything that happened. Piper and Phoebe both help her to one of the bar seats.

Elizabeth "Okay so would someone please explain this whole Guardian think to me."

Leo "Most if not all witches have white lighters. We act as guides and we try to protect witches from evil. Guardians on the other hand are supposedly the same thing to some white lighters."

Elizabeth "Supposedly…some…you don't know much about them do you Leo."

Leo "Up until now I just thought they were a myth. It is very rare if unheard of for a white lighter to know if they have a Guardian and even harder to find out who they are."

Adam "We like to keep a low profile."

Phoebe "So in other words you're an angel for an angel."

Adam "I guess you could say that."

Elizabeth "So what are you doing here? I've known you…"

Elizabeth pauses and realizes when she met him.

Piper "What?"

Elizabeth "I met him my very first day at Baker high."

Adam "The moment you were born I was assigned to you."

Leo "This doesn't sound right."

Phoebe "What?"

Leo "White Lighters are the case workers. A Guardian shouldn't be assigned to directly interact with a witch."

Adam "Elizabeth is a special case. She was born of a witch and a white lighter plus she was permitted to live by the White Lighter Council. The second the Halliwell's brought her back to their time I was sent down to be her Guardian."

Phoebe "Then where were you when she was nearly killed by a warlord?"

Adam "I was at the hospital you just didn't see me. The Guardians and the White Lighters both agreed that I was not to interfere. They knew what had to happen that day."

Elizabeth "Then these past few years."

Elizabeth pauses.

Elizabeth "You have just been using our friendship so you can do your job…haven't you? Was anything of these past few years real or you just acting?"

Adam "No…Yes…No, I didn't use our friendship to do my job and yes, everything that has happened has been real."

Leo "He wasn't supposed to make contact with you. Just like I was originally not supposed to make contact with your sisters at first."

Adam "I was just supposed to look over Leo and make sure that he properly took care of you. But then I made the mistake of making contact…I liked you. I don't know what it was but I knew you were special, and I don't mean because of your powers, from the moment I saw you."

Elizabeth stands up.

Elizabeth "I need some time to process this."

Elizabeth walks outside and Adam starts to go after her but Leo stops him.

Leo "Take it from me, she needs to be alone. If you push it things will only get complicated."

Leo walks over and puts his arm around Piper.

Piper "Extremely complicated."

Adam "I'm sorry for deceiving all of you."

Phoebe "With all we have seen this doesn't surprise me."

Piper "Your not nearly as weird as some of the things we have seen."

Adam "Thanks…I think."

Cole "Trust me that was a compliment."

Phoebe "So what do we do about Elizabeth?"

Piper "Not exactly the end I was looking for tonight."

Cole "At least she's alive."

Leo "He has a point. This night could have ended a lot worse."

Piper looks at Cole.

Piper "I just wanted to thank you for taking control and helping Elizabeth."

Cole "I did what I could. She is kind of like a little sister to me and I'd hate to see either of you lose another sister."

Leo "I second that. You could of shimmered out but you stayed and fought with them. Thank you."

Cole "They can't kill me but one of those arrows would mean your end man. I did what I had to."

Phoebe pulls Cole into a passionate kiss.

Phoebe "Thank you for helping us."

Cole "Maybe I should fight with you guys in no win situations more often."

Phoebe smiles at him.

Leo looks to the sky, as does Adam.

Adam "Why do your bosses want to see me?"

Leo "I don't know."

Leo looks at Piper.

Leo "Duty calls."

Piper "Find out what you can about the attack."

Leo "You got it."

Leo kisses Piper and orbs out, as does Adam.

Piper turns to Phoebe "Should we go talk to her?"

Phoebe "I think so."

Phoebe, Piper, and Cole walk outside and see Elizabeth sitting on the steps. Cole takes off his jacket and puts it over Elizabeth.

Cole "I think I'm just going to go see what I can find out about the attack."

Phoebe smiles at him "Good idea."

Phoebe kisses him and he shimmers away.

Phoebe and Piper sit next to Elizabeth.

Phoebe "A lot has happened tonight."

Piper "Not exactly how I expected the night to go."

Phoebe "He likes you."

Elizabeth "Who?"

Phoebe "Adam."

Elizabeth "He was just using our friendship to 'guard' me."

Piper "I don't think so. I saw genuine love in his eyes."

Phoebe "That man loves you. Even if he hasn't said it yet…he does."

Piper "Believe me he has the same look that Leo had when I first met him."

Elizabeth "I don't know. It has been a long night."

Elizabeth looks at the P3 sign.

Elizabeth "Even with everything that happened it was still a great night. Thank you both for making this a interesting night."

Phoebe "Interest yes and long to."

Piper "What do you say we all go home and wait for the guys to get back?"

Elizabeth "Sound good to me."

Phoebe "Lets go."

They all get into Piper's Jeep and head back to the manor. The girls are sitting in the living room when Leo and Cole appear in front of them.

Phoebe "I only count two men…wasn't there a third earlier?"

Piper "Leo what did you do with him?"

Leo "Funny…after we got done talking to my bosses he was summoned away."

Elizabeth "What did you find out?"

Leo "The dark lighters weren't after me but they were after you. The elders detected increased activity but didn't know what was going on until it happened. They think that there is a possibility that the dark lighters knew of Adam's presence and wanted to get rid of her so that he was no longer working with the Charmed Ones."

Piper "Why would they be scared about a Guardian?"

Leo "Not much is known about Guardians. Up until tonight everyone just thought that they were a myth. So the bad guys are on high alert because no one knows what kind of information he can bring to the fight against evil."

Phoebe "Cole?"

Cole "He's right. There is a lot of uncertainty out there. No one knows what to expect next."

Elizabeth "Then it looks like we're all on an even playing field since none of us know what to expect from Adam."

Leo "I'll tell you this he is all good."

Piper "Then lets hope that he can bring something good to this fight."

Elizabeth "And maybe after he is done with whatever he is doing he can come here and explain to us what the hell is going on."

Adam stands in front of the Guardian High Council.

High Council member "You've been exposed and made contact with her. We have agreed to assign you to the White Lighter Leo Wyatt so that you can work side by side with him and in turn look after the Charmed Ones. It has been arranged with the white lighter council. Also, we have reviewed your request for the graduation gift and we have agreed to it."

High Council elder "This has never been done before so we are granting them exactly one week down there. They must keep a low profile and you must look after them. Remember if we see that the mission is in jeopardy then they will be pulled back."

Adam "Thank you sir."

High Council member "Now get going. You have an assignment to get to. You don't want to keep Leo waiting. By now his council will have filled him in with the orders to keep it to himself until you arrive. We will notify you when we are ready to send them down."

High Council elder "Remember that you must fit into the society down there. And where as white lighters forbid romance we don't have any rules towards it yet. Don't give us a reason to make caseworker rules. You're the first Guardian to be assigned an actually charge so what you do may directly affect others. Make wise decisions. Leo will train you in case working and you will report to us on your progress."

With that Adam leaves the Council room and orbs back to the manor. Adam orbs in behind the girls making them jump.

Phoebe "Great another man in the house that can just appear out of thin air."

Elizabeth "What did you find out?"

Adam "The council is upset that I revealed myself to you. But they came up with a way to get around my exposure."

Adam looks at Leo.

Leo "The White Lighter Elders and the Guardian High Council have agreed to work together. They have assigned Adam to work with me as a caseworker. So that if any of you ever get into trouble one of us will always be around."

Piper "You knew about this and you didn't tell us."

Leo "I couldn't."

Adam "He was ordered to secrecy until I returned from the council."

Adam turns to Leo.

Adam "Did they tell you?"

Leo "Yes they did. Did they agree?"

Adam "Yes, they did."

Leo "When?"

Adam "Anytime now."

Everyone else in the room looks at them trying to figure out what they are talking about.

Phoebe "Anyone else lost?"

Elizabeth "Totally."

Piper "Completely."

Elizabeth "Would someone care to explain what is going on?"

Adam "You'll find out soon enough."

Adam and Leo both smile at them.

Piper "Anyway, what about the attack tonight?"

Adam "The Guardians were able to confirm that they were in fact after Elizabeth. They wanted to destroy the Charmed Ones by killing her. They knew that she was the only one that could be killed by the poison so she was there main target. They did know that I was in the area but they didn't know who I was until I appeared and used my powers. They were able to determine that I was indeed good and did indeed work for the Guardian High Council. Evil is in an up rise right now because of my presence here."

Phoebe "Just what we need even more demons and warlocks pissed off at us."

Elizabeth "What's new?"

Adam and Leo both look at the sky then back at the girls and Cole.

Leo "As far as we can tell no one will be trying to attack for a few days until they learn more about Adam."

Adam "Which leaves you free for a days."

Leo and Adam walk over to Elizabeth.

Leo "I didn't know what to get you for a graduation gift and neither did Adam."

Adam "So Leo and I pulled some strings and we arranged a gift that I think all of you will like. Unfortunately you can only have this gift for a week."

Leo "After that is has to go back."

Leo looks at the sky "We're ready."

With that four people orb into the room. Out of the light emerge Grams, Patty, Sam, and Prue.

Adam "We arranged for a family reunion."

The three girls all have tears of joy in there eyes.

Phoebe "But…how…"

Piper "Wow…that beats our gift."

Cole "Doesn't anyone stay dead in this family?"

Elizabeth just stares knowing who they are only from family photos and stories. Grams, Patty, Sam, and Prue all walk over to join the others.

Prue "Surprise."

All four girls embrace in a hug.

Prue "I'd like you to meet some people Elizabeth."

Penny comes over and hugs her youngest granddaughter.

Penny "My you have changed a lot since I held you in my arms."

Elizabeth "Grams?"

Penny "Yes my dear."

Sam and Patty both go up and give Elizabeth a big hug.

Elizabeth "Mom…Dad?"

Patty "Yes…it's us my darling."

Sam "You're a beautiful young woman."

Elizabeth has tears coming down her face. Patty looks at her daughter and pulls her into a hug. Patty also pulls Piper and Phoebe into the hugs. Prue looks at them and smiles.

Elizabeth "How?"

Leo "I submitted a request to the council to allow them to come down for your graduation but they didn't have the power to do that."

Adam "Once I found out about his request I pulled some strings and arranged them to be allowed here for one week."

Elizabeth "Thank you Adam."

Adam "It's the least I could do after keeping the truth from you."

Piper and Phoebe walk over to Prue.

Phoebe "You don't know how hard things have been without you."

Piper "I missed you. Why did you have to die?"

Prue "I missed all of you to but I haven't been far. I've been looking down on you. And if I had it my way I wouldn't of died but it was meant to be."

Piper "That doesn't mean that it had to be."

Phoebe "What she means is we love you and were glad that you're here even if it is for just a few days."

Penny looks at everyone.

Penny "All together at last."

Elizabeth "I can honestly say that this is the best gift I have ever gotten."

Phoebe "We can do a lot in a week."

Prue "Rumor has it that a certain Halliwell is graduating Valedictorian of her class."

Prue walks over to Elizabeth.

Prue "I'm very proud of you."

Prue hugs Elizabeth.

Sam looks at Leo and Adam.

Sam "You two have done an amazing job watching after the girls."

Leo "They're family."

Adam "I'm new to this so I think Leo should get the credit for watching after them."

Sam "I have to admit you're the first Guardian that I have ever met or for that fact the only Guardian that anyone has met."

Adam "What can I say my bosses like to work in secret."

Elizabeth walks over to Adam and hugs him.

Elizabeth "You're a miracle worker."

Adam "I can't take all the credit. It was originally Leo's idea I just helped him."

Elizabeth then walks over to Leo.

Elizabeth "Thank you Leo. Nothing can ever be better than this gift you have given me."

Leo hugs her.

Leo "Your very welcome. Like I said your part of Piper's family and part of my family."

They all sit around the living room and talk. After several hours of talking Piper looks at her watch.

Piper "Okay Elizabeth you've got school tomorrow. You need to get to bed and get some sleep."

Elizabeth "If I wasn't so tired I might argue with you."

Piper "But you're not going to."

Elizabeth "Nope, maybe another night."

Piper "This is probably a stupid question but do dead people sleep?"

Prue "Yes Piper we can still sleep in human form."

Phoebe "Then we had better make arrangements."

Piper "Leo and I have a pull out in our room if someone wants to sleep there."

Elizabeth "I can sleep there. I'll let one of them have my room and it's better than sleeping with Phoebe."

Phoebe "Hey!"

Piper "She's right Phoebe."

Piper "Mom you and Sam can have Elizabeth's room."

Prue "I've dealt with Phoebe first so I'll crash with her if you don't mind Pheebs."

Phoebe "Not at all."

Piper "Then we still need a place for Grams."

Elizabeth "What about the pull out in the couch?"

Piper "Why didn't I think of that?"

Phoebe "So Grams it looks like the couch for you."

Grams "No problem. It won't be the first time I have slept on it."

Piper "Okay Elizabeth off to bed with you."

Elizabeth "Sounds like an idea."

Elizabeth hugs everyone and heads off to make up the pull out in Piper's room and go to bed.

Prue watches her head upstairs and looks at Piper.

Prue "Looks like you've filled my shoes nicely."

Piper "No one can fill your shoes Prue. You've been missed."

Phoebe "And still are missed."

Prue "So how is it being the middle sister?"

Phoebe "I think I'm beginning to understand what Piper went through with us."

Piper "Now you know."

They all laugh.

A short time later they all head off to bed. Cole and Adam both orb and shimmer away for the night. In the morning Piper wakes up and hears Prue and Grams up in the kitchen. Leo wakes up to see her smiling.

Leo whispers "What is that smile for?"

Piper "Things seem so right."

Leo "Piper…"

Piper "I know its only for a short time."

Piper looks over at the still sleeping Elizabeth.

Piper "Leo she looks so peaceful."

Leo "She was exhausted last night."

Piper "We all were. Its not every day that you find out your Valedictorian, have a surprise party thrown for you, almost die…correction do die, and get to meet the parents that you never knew and the sister that died. It was a long die for her and the rest of us."

Leo "What do you think about Adam?"

Piper "I always thought he was a great guy and I know that Elizabeth likes him and I have a feeling he likes her. Plus he arranged for this so how bad could he be?"

Leo "I just hope that he is a fast learner because he has to learn how to be a case worker."

Piper "I guess we should get up."

Leo "Should we wake Elizabeth up?"

Piper "No, let her sleep. She still has a little while longer to sleep before she needs to be up. She was exhausted last night. Right now she needs to sleep…I've come to think that being healed and almost killed drains a lot out of you."

Leo "I'm going to go and take a shower."

Piper "Sound like an idea."

After taking a shower Leo gets dressed and goes downstairs. He walks into the kitchen and sees Cole, Phoebe, Sam, Patty, Penny, and Prue.

Leo "Morning."

Prue "Where's Piper?"

Leo "She's still upstairs getting dressed."

Prue "I think I'll go say morning."

Piper finishes getting dressed and walks over to the sleeping Elizabeth and pulls the sheets over her. Piper then looks down at her and smiles.

Piper whispers, "Congratulations little one."

Prue is standing in the door way watching.

Prue whispers, "Amazing everything that she has accomplished."

Piper turns around to see Prue.

Piper "Yes, it is. She deserves this."

Prue "She sure does."

Piper "Things were hard after you died. For a while Phoebe and I thought that we would lose her to. But then everything worked out and she pulled through. It took some time but we finally learned to move on without you."

Prue "Now I'm back."

Piper "Just for a week then your gone again. But at least this time we will all get a chance to say goodbye to you."

Prue "You've done an amazing job since I left."

Piper "Things have been hard without you Prue. I don't think I ever really appreciated all you did until you were gone."

Prue "I haven't been far Piper. I'll always be close by."

With that they Piper sets the alarm to wake Elizabeth up in a little while and heads downstairs with Prue. An hour later the alarm goes off and Elizabeth takes a shower and gets ready for school. Then she heads downstairs to the kitchen.

Elizabeth "Wow there are a lot of people in this house."

Prue "Yes and half of us are dead."

Piper "Now there's a statement that you don't hear in every house."

Phoebe "Only in this family."

Just then Adam orbs in.

Adam "Hello."

Piper "Great another man that doesn't use the door."

Adam "Why use the door when I can just appear."

Cole "Don't ask."

Leo "You don't want to know the answer."

Adam "Elizabeth you ready for school?"

Elizabeth "You're still going to school?"

Adam "Yes, I can't afford to blow my human cover."

Elizabeth "Then in that case I'm ready to go."

Piper "Would you two like me to take you?"

Elizabeth "That would be great if you don't mind."

Piper "Not at all."

Adam "Actually I think I'll just orb there. I need to make a detour and see my bosses. I'll see you at school Elizabeth."

With that he leans over and kisses her. Then he orbs out.

Penny "Not again."

Patty "What do you mean mother?"

Penny "Another Halliwell falling for a guy that is supposed to protect her."

Piper "I think that it is becoming a family trait."

Sam "Well thanks to you and Leo I think future generations will have a easier time of being in love."

Piper looks at her watch.

Piper "Come on Elizabeth I'll drive you."

Elizabeth grabs her book bag.

Prue "Have a good day at school."

Patty "Enjoy your day."

Phoebe "Have fun."

Penny "Try not to get into any trouble."

Elizabeth "Oh god."

Piper "What?"

Elizabeth "I suddenly feel like I have five mothers."

They all laugh. Piper and Elizabeth head out of the house and get into her Jeep. On the way to school Piper and Elizabeth talk about the events of the past 24 hours.

Piper "So what is up with you and Adam?"

Elizabeth "I'm not really sure. At first I was mad at him for not telling me who he was and now well after last night I've forgiven him."

Piper "That was more than a 'I forgive' you kiss this morning."

Elizabeth "I don't know. I'd like to be something more with him."

Piper "Then tell him."

Elizabeth "I think I might just do that."

With that they arrive in front of the school.

Piper "Have a good day."

Elizabeth "I will. After all there are only four days left till I graduate and only two days left until I'm out of school."

Piper "Well then just don't get into any trouble."

Elizabeth "I won't Piper."

With that Elizabeth gets out of the Jeep and Adam comes up behind her.

Adam "Hi."

Elizabeth "Hi."

They both kiss.

Adam "So am I forgive?"

Elizabeth "Yes."

They both walk towards the school hand in hand.

Adam "So where do we stand? Are we friends or something more?"

Elizabeth "I'd like to think something more."

Adam smiles.

Adam "I was hoping you would say that."

Elizabeth "How could I say anything else after last night. You go from pissing me off to making me very happy."

Adam "I'm sorry about not telling you."

Elizabeth "I understand why you couldn't tell me."

They both smile at each other and head off into the school. The next three days past almost like a dream. Elizabeth spends time with her family and takes in as much as she can. She knows that this could possible be the only time that she gets to spend this time with her family…her entire family. Now she was at the night before graduation. She was nervous about giving the speech. Piper had helped her to write it the night before so now all Elizabeth had to do was wait. They were all sitting in the living room talking as they had every night since they came back. Piper, Phoebe, and Elizabeth were trying to take up as much of this as they could.

Prue "Elizabeth, are you ready for tomorrow?"

Elizabeth "I'm ready for tomorrow to get here."

Phoebe "I'm just slightly curious how they are going to be able to be at the graduation."

Leo "They will be invisible to other people but be seen by all of you."

Penny "The wonders of magic."

Sam "So I get to see my daughter graduate. I never thought I would live to see the day."

Patty "And not only is she graduating but she is graduating top of her class."

Prue "A big accomplishment indeed."

Just then Cole orbs in.

Phoebe "Any news?"

Cole "Doesn't look like any attacks are in works. Adam threw a loop into their plans so they are trying to regroup and figure out what to do. I think the graduation will go through without any Demon interruptions."

Elizabeth "Thank god."

Adam orbs in.

Piper "We really need to find a way to install a supernatural door."

Phoebe "I'll get onto it first thing in the morning."

Leo looks at Cole and Adam "They think they are so funny."

Phoebe "No we don't think…"

Piper "…we know."

Piper glances over and sees that Elizabeth looks exhausted. Piper walks over to her and sits down next to her.

Piper "You look tired."

Elizabeth "That has to be the understatement of the year."

Piper "Come on I'll walk with you upstairs."

Piper and Elizabeth head up stairs.

Prue "Piper is really taking over as the big sister."

Phoebe "She had her doubts at first but then we all did. It took a lot for us to move on after you died."

Prue "I wish I could change things Phoebes…but I can't."

Phoebe "I know Prue…I just wish things had turned out differently."

Prue "So do I."

Prue moves to sit next to Phoebe. Prue pulls Phoebe into a hug. Upstairs Elizabeth and Piper talk.

Piper "Your nervous aren't you?"

Elizabeth "Extremely. I want this so bad but I know that after it's over they have to go."

Piper "You know that they aren't very far. Every time the pages move on the Book of Shadows one of them is nearby."

Elizabeth "Its just that I've only been in this world for a few years and I never got to know my dad, our mom, our grandmother, and just as I got to really know Prue she was taken from me…from us."

Piper "If its one thing I've learned that is that everything happens for a reason and sometimes we can't see the reasoning behind it but it's there."

Elizabeth "To think in a few short hours I will of graduated and in a few days they will be gone."

Piper "But no matter what Phoebe and I will both still be here. And we will still have Leo, Cole, and Adam orbing and shimmering in and out of the house."

Elizabeth "So what your saying is things will be back to normal…well as normal as life can be for us."

Piper "Exactly."

Elizabeth "Piper promise me you'll never leave me."

Piper "I can't make that promise but I'll promise you that I'm not going anywhere anytime soon and not without a fight."

Piper pulls Elizabeth into a hug.

Elizabeth "I love you."

Piper "I love you to kiddo. Now get to bed you've got a long day ahead of you."

Elizabeth gets into the bed.

Piper "Leo and I'll be up shortly. Good night."

Elizabeth "Good night Piper."

Piper heads back down stairs.

Phoebe "I was starting to think you had gotten lost."

Piper "I was talking to Elizabeth."

Phoebe "She's nervous isn't she?"

Piper "Yeah."

Prue "I can't believe she is Valedictorian."

Penny "I think she may be the first Halliwell to graduate Valedictorian."

Sam "I know as a fact that she will be the first Wilder to graduation Valedictorian."

Patty "To think another one of my girls graduating. I wish I had been around to see the rest of you graduate."

Phoebe "Its okay mom. We always knew you were close by."

Piper, Phoebe, and Prue all smile at their mother.

A short while later they all head off to bed and while Piper is waiting for Leo to come to bed she watched Elizabeth sleep. Leo comes and sits beside Piper.

Piper "She looks so peaceful."

Leo "I don't think I've seen you this happy in a long time."

Piper "I have a lot to be happy about."

Leo "What's going to happen after they leave?"

Piper "I think I've got a better understanding of life and death now. Things will be like they were last week and the week before. Phoebe, Elizabeth, Cole, you, and I will all be working together, with the addition of Adam, to destroy evil."

Leo "Sounds like a plan to me."

Piper "And I think that this wonderful gift that you and Adam gave her, gave us, will make us a stronger family."

Leo "Adam talked them into it I just came up with the idea."

Piper "And a good idea it was."

Piper kisses Leo.

Leo "I think I'm going to have to start coming up with good ideas more often."

Piper smiles at him.

Piper "We had better get to bed."

Leo "Yeah, tomorrow is going to be a long day."

Piper "You did get the day off right?"

Leo "Yes, with the exception of you guys my charges have been assigned to someone else for tomorrow."

Piper "Good. I want this to be a great day for her."

With that Piper and Leo crawl into the bed and cuddle into each other's arms as they fall fast asleep. The next morning Phoebe opens the door to Pipers room and quietly goes over to Piper and wakes her up.

Piper "What is it Phoebe?"

Phoebe "Don't tell me you forgot."

Piper suddenly sits up in bed.

Piper "Okay Phoebe go down stairs and call them and I'll get ready and we can head over there and get her gift."

Leo is awake and looks at Piper.

Leo "What's going on?"

Piper "Phoebe and I have to go and pick up Elizabeth's gift."

Leo "That's right. Do you want me to come?"

Piper "No. Just stay here and cover for us if she wakes up before we get back."

Piper hurriedly gets ready and heads downstairs to meet Phoebe.

Piper "You ready?"

Phoebe "I've been ready. I called them and it will be ready when we get there."

Prue, Grams, Penny, and Sam all walk into the kitchen.

Prue "What are you two talking about?"

Piper "We have to go get Elizabeth's graduation gift."

Phoebe "And we had better go now before she wakes up and Leo has to stall even longer than he is already going to have to."

Piper "We'll be back. Help Leo stall."

Phoebe grabs Pipers arm and pulls her out the door.

Piper "I forgot the keys."

Phoebe hands her the keys.

Phoebe "Just drive Piper."

Piper and Phoebe head down to the dealership that they got Piper's Jeep at. They walk over to the car that they had bought a few days earlier. A salesman walks over to them.

Salesman "You must be Piper and Phoebe Halliwell."

Piper "Yes we are."

Salesman "Everything is ready and all I need you to do is sign saying that you picked up the car."

They go inside to sign the papers. Then they both walk out and look at the car they bought her.

Phoebe "She is going to be so surprised."

Piper "It's not as good as Leo's and Adam's surprise but I think she will love it."

Phoebe "So which one of us is driving it home?"

Piper "I will. At least if anything happens to mine it isn't brand new."

Phoebe takes Piper's keys and Piper gets into the new car. When they get home Piper pulls the new car up into the driveway so Elizabeth can't see it from the house. They both head inside where Leo has been stalling for thirty minutes. When they enter the house Leo gives them a 'about time look'.

Elizabeth looks at them when they enter.

Elizabeth "Where have you two been?"

Piper "Phoebe and I had an errand to run."

Elizabeth "At 8:00 in the morning?"

Phoebe "It was just something we had to do and this was the only time we could do it."

Leo "Well I have to go."

Piper "Go where?"

Leo points at the sky.

Leo "Duty calls."

Piper "I thought you had the day off."

Leo "I do. Trust me it's not work. I'll be back in a little while."

Elizabeth had been suspicious ever since Leo told her that they went out. Elizabeth knew that Piper never got up that early and Phoebe never does unless she has something important to do. But Elizabeth has other things on her mind so she dismiss her thoughts."

Prue looks at Elizabeth and sees that she is lost in thought.

Prue "You okay?"

Elizabeth "I was just thinking about tonight."

Piper "You'll be fine."

Elizabeth "I know."

Phoebe "So what's the problem."

Elizabeth "No problem."

Elizabeth walks upstairs and into Piper's room where she had been sleeping for the past five nights. They all watched her leave.

Piper "I'd better go talk to her."

Prue "You want me to go with you?"

Piper "No I got it."

Piper heads upstairs and into the room to see Elizabeth sitting on her bed with tears streaming down her face.

Piper "Not exactly what I expected to see the morning of your graduation. What's wrong?"

Elizabeth "Nothing."

Piper "Come on Elizabeth it's me. I can tell when something is wrong with you."

Elizabeth "I'm scared."

Piper is taken off guard. She can't remember the last time she remembered hearing Elizabeth admit to being scared.

Piper "Scared of what?"

Elizabeth "I'm scared of screwing up tonight, I'm scared of letting all of them go, and I'm scared of letting you down."

Piper "Why me?"

Elizabeth "You have done so much for me. Everyone had and I feel that this is my way of repaying you guys for everything that you have done for me."

Piper "Sounds like a serious case of nerves."

Elizabeth "Maybe."

Piper "Just go out there tonight and do what your heart tells you to do. You will be great and no matter what we will all be proud of you. I've never told you this before but this seems like a good time to tell you. You came to us by thru supernatural ways. When we found out about you we were stunned and scared."

Elizabeth "Why were you scared?"

Piper "We were scared of the uncertain, we were scared of disappointing mom and Sam, but most of all we were scared of what you would think of us. We knew that we wouldn't just be sisters but the people that would be responsible for your well-being and protection. It took us all time to adjust to the idea of you being around and it took you time to adjust to us. But something happened that none of us realized at the time."

Elizabeth "What?"

Piper "We bonded, we became sisters, and most importantly we became a family. You have far exceeded our expectations and hopes. Elizabeth, you can't disappoint us and even after the others leave you, me, and Phoebe will still be sisters and we will still be a family and nothing can change that."

Elizabeth "Nothing?"

Piper "Nothing."

Piper grabs a Kleenex and wipes the tears from Elizabeth's face. Piper holds Elizabeth in her arms and little did Piper know how much her speech had affected Elizabeth.

Piper "We had better get you ready."

Elizabeth "I'm going to take a shower and get dressed."

Piper "Sounds like a plan."

Piper smiles and heads downstairs.

Phoebe "Is she okay?"

Piper "Yeah, just a serious case of nerves."

Phoebe "Better now than tonight."

Prue "Really."

Patty "What time does the graduation start?"

Piper "The graduation starts at 8 o'clock but she has to be there by 7 o'clock."

Sam "That gives us plenty of time to give her the gifts we got her."

Phoebe "You guys got her gifts?"

Penny "You didn't think that we were just the gifts did you."

Patty "We came prepared."

Sam "It's not everyday a dead man gets to watch his daughter graduate."

Phoebe "That's because usually dead people stay dead."

Piper "Not in this family."

Prue "We have a tendency to drop in every now and then."

Piper "But that's a good thing because at least we know that you're always close by."

Phoebe "And that is a very comforting thing."

Just then Leo, Adam, and Cole orb and shimmer in. Adam is wearing a white button up shirt with a tie, dress pants, and a jacket.

Piper "Talking about just dropping in. Where did you go?"

Leo "I had to help out."

Piper "Help out with what?"

Adam "Leo and Cole were helping me get ready for tonight."

Leo "Told you I wasn't working."

Phoebe "I was wondering where you disappeared to."

Cole "I was just lending a helping hand."

Prue "I hate to break this up but how much longer do you think we can keep that thing in the driveway hidden?"

Piper "Good question."

Phoebe "When do we intend on giving her the gifts we got her?"

Piper "How about I whip up a graduation lunch and we give her the gifts after that?"

Prue "Sounds like a good idea."

Penny "I'll give you a hand."

Patty "So will I."

They head into the kitchen and begin cooking a huge elaborate lunch. A short time later Elizabeth comes downstairs.

Elizabeth to Phoebe "What is going on in the kitchen?"

Phoebe "You know Piper she is the happiest in the kitchen. Piper, Mom, and Grams are all in the kitchen making a special graduation lunch."

Elizabeth "Sounds like fun."

Elizabeth notices Adam all dressed up.

Adam "I know I look stupid."

Elizabeth "I was thinking more along the lines of handsome."

Adam "Or that to."

Adam walks over to Elizabeth and kisses her.

Adam "You look great to."

Elizabeth "And I'm not even dressed for tonight yet."

Adam "You always look great."

Cole under his breathe. "I think I'm going to be sick."

Phoebe hears him and elbows him in the side then gives him a look. About a half hour later Piper comes into the living room and announces that lunch is ready. Everyone sits around the table and eats the elaborate lunch that they made. After they finish Leo helps Piper and Penny clean up the kitchen.

Leo "That was great."

Phoebe "This is what happens when you get three great cooks in the kitchen."

Piper "Well I think that we should move this into the living room."

Phoebe "Good idea."

They all move into the living room.

Piper "Elizabeth today is your day. You have earned this day and well Leo and Adam already gave you their gift but the rest of us have something for you."

Cole is the first to stand up. He walks over to Elizabeth and pulls an envelope out of his pocket. He hands it to Elizabeth.

Cole "I didn't know what to get you so…well I'll let you find out."

Elizabeth opens the envelope to find a check for 10 thousand dollars.

Elizabeth "My God…Cole I can't accept this."

Cole "I saved up some money while I was working as a A.D.A. Plus from what I know about college your going to need that."

Elizabeth hugs Cole.

Elizabeth "Thank you so much."

Phoebe "What did he get you?"

Elizabeth shows them the check.

Piper "Wow!"

Phoebe "That's a lot of money."

Sam "A whole hell of a lot of money."

Penny is the next to go over to Elizabeth. Penny hands Elizabeth a small jewelry box.

Penny "It's just a trinket but I hope you like it."

Elizabeth opens the box to find an antique ring.

Elizabeth "It's so beautiful."

Penny "I've had it since I was a child and now I think it is time to pass it on to a new generation."

Elizabeth hugs her grandmother.

Elizabeth "I'll always cherish it."

Penny "I know you will."

Sam and Patty go over to Elizabeth next. They hand her a photo album.

Sam "We didn't know what to get you."

Patty "But we knew what we wished we could give you. When we arranged for you to come into this world we over looked the fact that you would have no past."

Sam "That was an over site on our part and you shouldn't be punished for it."

Patty "So Sam and I pulled together all the pictures and letters of each other that we could. I included some of the doctor bills and a few things that I wrote before I died."

Sam "We even included some pictures of your sisters and grandmother."

Patty "We can't create a past for you but we can let you piece one together with the stuff we have."

Elizabeth "This is a great gift. I love it and it means more to me than you can ever know."

Sam and Patty give their daughter a big hug. Next Prue gets up and goes over to her. Prue hands her a jewelry box and an envelope.

Prue "I wanted to get you something that I thought would prove useful to you so when you came into our lives I opened a savings account in your name. The last time I checked the amount there was nearly 25 thousand dollars in it. Since your still 17 the account has Piper as the guardian but I figure that this will help you get through college."

Prue pauses.

Prue "And as for the jewelry box you're just going to have to find out."

Elizabeth opens the box and is stunned by what she sees. In the jewelry box is a necklace that Elizabeth remembered Prue telling her about once. Elizabeth had loved the way it looked and was impressed by how much history it held in it. The necklace had been passed down thru several generations.

Prue "Grams gave it to me the day I graduated and now I think it is time that it get passed onto a living Halliwell."

Elizabeth hugs Prue.

Elizabeth "Thank you so much. I'll take good care of it."

Prue "I wouldn't of given it to you if I thought other wise."

Now Piper and Phoebe were up. They both get up and walk over to her.

Piper "Unfortunately our gift will not fit in a box or envelope."

Phoebe "So we need to take you outside to show you what we got you."

They all walk outside and over to the driveway. Elizabeth sees a brand new car sitting in the driveway and not just any car but the one that she had seen a million times and dreamed of one day having.

Elizabeth "Is that mine?"

Piper "We figured it was time you get your own car."

Phoebe "Piper and I both remember you saying how much you wished you could have that car."

Elizabeth "But how?"

Piper "Phoebe and I pulled our money together and bought the car."

Elizabeth "This mornings errand?"

Phoebe "Yeah."

Piper "Would you like to look at it?"

Elizabeth "You bet."

Piper "Then you'll need these."

Piper pulls out a set of car keys from her pocket.

Elizabeth opens the car and looks inside the new car smell hits her then she realizes that this is really hers. Elizabeth looks at Piper and Phoebe.

Elizabeth "This is just amazing. Thank you two so much."

Piper "You deserved it."

Phoebe "You have earned this."

Piper and Phoebe both hug Elizabeth. After Elizabeth gets done looking at the car they all head inside.

Elizabeth "I don't know how I can thank any of you. All of your gifts were absolutely amazing."

Piper "You already thanked us. You were our gift and this is our way of giving back to you for all the joy and love you have given us."

Phoebe "No gift can ever be better than the gift of a baby sister that has made us so proud."

Prue "I can't imagine what life would have been like without you in it and even though I'm dead I'm still proud of you."

Patty "All of us are proud of you especially your father and I."

Sam "When I found out about you it disturbed me that you had never been given a chance to live and then a miracle happened and you were born."

Patty "I regret that we couldn't of raised you but then I regret leaving your sisters when they were so young. But we can't change the past so all we can do is embrace it and be grateful for what we have and I'm truly grateful for you and your sisters. You're all my angels."

Cole "I never expected to fall in love with Phoebe and I never expected to meet a young girl as caring and amazing as you are. I never had a sister so you're like a little sister to me."

Leo "I was around when you were brought into this world and I remember everything that happened when you got here. I have seen you and your sisters thru the good and bad times and each time I see you grow and change. You have given everyone that knows you a reason to be proud."

Penny "To summarize what they all just said. You're a very special young woman that has made her family and friends very proud."

Elizabeth "I don't know what to say."

Piper looks at her watch.

Piper "Don't mean to break the festivities up but we had better start getting ready."

Elizabeth "That would be a good thing to do."

They all scatter and start getting ready. Once Piper and Phoebe are done getting ready they help Elizabeth finish getting ready.

Piper looks at Elizabeth.

Piper "You look beautiful."

Phoebe "You're going to blow them away."

Elizabeth "I hope your right."

Phoebe "Of coarse I'm right I'm never wrong unless something goes wrong."

Piper "Never mind Phoebe we get the point. What she meant to say is that your going to be great and you have nothing to worry about."

Phoebe "Look at the bright side Piper can always freeze the room if something happens or blow it up one or the other."

Piper "Phoebe I mean this lovingly shut-up."

Phoebe sticks her tongue out at Piper.

Piper "We had better get going before I kill Phoebe."

Phoebe "Very funny."

All three of them head downstairs where they see the others waiting for them.

Leo "Wow you look beautiful Elizabeth."

Adam "Exceptionally beautiful."

Sam "Maybe a little to beautiful."

Patty hits Sam in the ribs.

Patty "Ignore your father he is just being over protective. You look perfect."

Penny "Another one of my girls is graduating."

Leo "We had better get the four of you over there."

Leo turns to Piper.

Leo "I'm going to go with them and make sure that they truly are invisible to everyone else. I'll meet you there."

Leo, Penny, Patty, Sam, and Prue all orb to the gym where the graduation was going to happen. Piper, Phoebe, Elizabeth, Cole, and Adam all get into Piper's Jeep and head to the gym. When they arrive there Elizabeth goes to where she needs to be and Leo joins up with the others.

Piper "Everything good?"

Leo "Everything is going as planned. We had better get in there and get good seats."

They enter the gym. An hour later the ceremony begins. After the principal and a few other speakers talk its Elizabeth's turn. Elizabeth walks up to the podium and finds her family in the crowd. Elizabeth begins.

Elizabeth "I came out here tonight planning on reading a speech from a piece of paper. Then my oldest sister told me something that changed my mind. She told me to follow my heart and nothing could go wrong. So instead of reading from a piece of paper I'm going to wing it."

Elizabeth pauses for a second and can see Piper and the other smiling.

Elizabeth "A few years ago I never would of thought this would be possible to be standing here as Valedictorian. I believe that all of use are born into this world with a destiny and a purpose. Sometimes we may not understand our purpose or our place in this world but all us have one. We have worked our entire lives to reach this moment and for those of you that don't know your purpose then today maybe the day you figure it out. Today marks the beginning of the rest of our lives so be sure to make your decisions wisely because they may very well affect what path your life takes. So in conclusion I challenge each of you to take your life and destiny into your own hands and forge your own legacy and make something out of your life. Remember that being successful doesn't always mean being happy. So whatever you do make sure that it makes you happy. Thank you."

Elizabeth walks back to her seat. They begin calling out the names and soon enough Elizabeth is up.

Principal "Elizabeth Wilder-Halliwell."

Elizabeth accepts her diploma and returns to her seat. After the last name is called everyone stands up and they throw their hats into the air. Then they exit into the lobby to find their families. Adam catches up to Elizabeth.

Adam "That was an amazing speech."

Elizabeth "Thanks."

Adam "Have you seen the others yet?"

Elizabeth "Not yet."

Adam "I'll help you find them. Let's get going."

They head off to find Piper and Phoebe but they find them. Piper, Phoebe, Leo, and Cole all walk up to them. Piper and Phoebe grab Elizabeth and pull her into a hug.

Piper "You were amazing."

Phoebe "That was a great speech."

Elizabeth "Thanks. I was just following my heart. Thanks for the advice Piper."

Piper "No problem that's what sisters are for."

Cole and Leo both shake Adam's hand.

Cole "Congratulations Adam."

Leo "I think you're the first one of us to graduate while working."

Adam "What can I say I'm talented."

Cole and Leo both give Elizabeth a hug and congratulate her.

Elizabeth "Where are the others?"

Piper "At the manor."

Phoebe "But they asked you to tell us how proud of you they were."

Piper "What do you say we get over to P3 and get this party started."

Elizabeth "As long as I don't get attacked again."

Piper "I don't think that will happen. Anyway this is a graduation party so lets go have some fun."

They all head to P3 where Piper had offered to hold the post-graduation party. They party for several hours and around 3 in the morning the party ends and the Halliwells head home. When they enter the manor they find everyone still awake.

Prue "Congratulations Elizabeth."

Sam "That was a wonderful speech."

Penny "Absolutely amazing."

Patty "That was terrific."

Each of them proceeds to hug Elizabeth. They all head to bed after a long night. The next two days pass like a blur. Then it is time for the others to return to whence they came. They are all standing in the living room saying good-bye.

Penny "We'll always be near by my darlings."

Sam "When you're a part of this family you never go to far."

Patty "Be good to each other my daughters and evil doesn't stand a chance. As long as the three of you are together the innocents of the world are safe. I will always love all of you."

Prue "Just remember that whenever the pages of the book turn one of us is near by. I might be dead but I'm not done fighting evil or protecting my sisters. No matter what I will always love you."

Patty "It's time now that we leave."

Elizabeth "Good bye and I love you."

Piper "We love all of you."

Phoebe "We will always keep you in our hearts."

With that they disappear as quickly as they had came. Leo was in a meeting with the Elders, Cole was trying to dig up information on evil's plan, and Adam was meeting with the Guardian Council. So Piper, Phoebe, and Elizabeth were all alone in the house. They walk over to the couch and sit down with Elizabeth sitting in the middle.

Piper "It is so quite."

Elizabeth "It has been one hell of a week."

Phoebe "At least we all pulled through it."

Piper "And I think we are all stronger and at least we all got to spend time with our family."

Phoebe "At least we got a chance to say goodbye to all of them this time."

Piper "We have lost a lot but we have gained a lot of love."

Elizabeth "And we still have each other."

Piper "Exactly."

Phoebe "Let's promise to not just be sisters but friends."

Phoebe sticks her hand out and Piper and Elizabeth put their hands on top of hers.

Piper "Sisters and friends forever."

This week taught each of them something and taught them all how precious life is. This very moment marked the end of one phase of their lives and the beginning of their futures. In the days to follow the Charmed Ones would fight many great evils but today that means nothing because right now they have each other.
