'Phoebe' Piper called from downstairs 'I thought that you had a job interview this morning?'

'I do, I'm just getting dressed' Phoebe called back down the stairs

Piper smiled to herself and walked back into the kitchen, she should have known that Phoebe would be up there making herself look gorgeous, not that she needed to try to hard. Piper moved over to the stove and stirred the stew that she was making for dinner that night. She had a busy day ahead of her and wanted to get dinner out of the way before it all started.

'Piper could I borrow those black platforms that you just got the other day?' she heard Phoebe call from upstairs

'Ok, but if you ruin them…' Piper called back

'I wont don't worry' Phoebe replied before Piper could finish her sentence 'And thanks your a sweety'

'Yeah but that will change if anything happens to them' Piper muttered under her breath as she took the stew from the stove and after putting it into another pot she put it in the fridge then quickly cleaned up her mess and headed back upstairs to her room.

'Piper do I look all right for an interview?' Phoebe asked her sister as she walked past her room

'You look great Pheebs, but you do realize you are going for an interview to be a waitress? You don't have to dress up too much' Piper told her

'I know, but I wanted to give myself a big chance of getting the job' Phoebe replied picking up her purse 'you know how much I need this'

'I know, and I am sure that you will do just fine' Piper said giving her a hug

'Could I borrow your car today?' Phoebe asked after they finished hugging

'I wish you could but I have heaps of things that I have to do and I really need my car' Piper told her 'you are going to have to catch a cab sorry'

'That's ok but I am going to go now then' Phoebe said rushing past 'have a good day'

'You too' Piper called after her 'Good luck'

Piper walked the rest of the way down the hall and into her room where she quickly changed into some presentable clothes and after putting on some make-up she picked up her bag and walked back down stairs out the door and got into her car and drove off.

As she entered the hotel she looked around for the people that she was meeting and saw them over by a window in the restaurant, she walked in and moved easily through the crowded room till she got to their table

'Miss Halliwell' one of the men said 'it's nice to finally meet you'

'Thank you' she replied with a slight smile 'it's good to finally meet you as well'

'Please have a seat' the man said pulling a seat out from under the table and leading her toward it 'Now that you are here we will order some lunch'

Piper looked at them and then down at her menu she hadn't eaten anything all morning and was starving but she didn't want to get to caught up in the moment so after a moment of glancing through she decided to just have a salad and some water. It was nothing special but she knew that it would fill her up and that's all that mattered

'So Miss Halliwell what do you think about the idea?' a man asked her

'Well I think that it would help the children a lot and I would be glad to donate some money towards this' she said taking a sip of some water

'That's all well and good, but we were actually talking about what you thought about if your sisters were kidnapped' the man said with an evil smile

'What the hell are you talking about?' she asked him looking around the table

'Oh I was just seeing if you were listening!' the man said with a laugh that rocked his whole body

Piper looked at him and smiled nervously

'Yeah I was listening, I just had a thought about something' she replied

The man smiled back at her and then the conversation kept going, but this time Piper made sure she heard everything that they were saying.

At the end of the lunch Piper got up and after saying their good-bye's she quickly headed back out to her car and then drove to P3 were she was meeting up with Prue to get some work done for that night.

'It was so weird' she said 'I was just thinking about what I was going to eat and then Mark said 'So what do you think of the idea Miss Halliwell' and so I said that I thought it would help the children I would be happy to donate some money and then he said 'That's all well and good but we were talking about you sister's being kidnapped' it was weird and so I was just like what the hell and he said he was just making sure that I was paying attention'

'Oh that is strange' Prue said putting away some of the new bottles of alcohol that had just been delivered 'why do you think he said that?'

'I don't know, but I felt very uneasy for the rest of the meeting' Piper said getting up and walking to her office to get some paper work and walking back out 'I just wish that I knew that he was only joking. I just have a bad feeling about it all'

Prue nodded and kept on stacking the alcohol onto the shelves and one by one the boxes got lower and lower until she was onto the last one

'I think that we have to tell Phoebe, and then we just have to be a bit more careful over the next few days' Prue said

'I agree' Piper said still not really wanting to admit that anything could be wrong 'but I don't want to make it to obvious, I don't want our whole world to change just cause of some stupid thing Mark said'

Prue looked at her and smiled

'He wont have any power over us' she said 'don't worry things will be fine'

Piper just nodded her head and kept on going through all the paper work that she had to get done, but her thoughts kept on going back to what Mark had said earlier that day. Why had he said that if he was only joking? It wasn't something to say to someone who loved her sisters as much as she did. She turned her thoughts back to the paper and quickly finished all that she had to do and then got up

'Lets go home Prue' she said getting her bag and keys

'Sure thing Pipe, I'll just put the boxes out back and then we'll be off' Prue said picking up the crushed boxes

Piper walked over to open the back door and let Prue through as she walked out behind Prue she noticed someone come out from behind the Dumpster and grab Prue around the neck

'Hey' Prue said trying to break free but no succeeding

Piper threw up her hands to freeze him but nothing happened and he just laughed

'That won't work on me' he said and before he blinked away he said 'I hope you can get to your house in time'

Piper looked at him in disbelief as he and her sister vanished into thin air, she just stood there for awhile then quickly turned on her heel and after locking the club up she ran to her car and drove all the way home hoping like hell she would get there before the demon did.

She got out of her car and ran inside just as a shocked Phoebe and the demon vanished

'Oh I'm too late' she said as she fell to the floor in despair 'LEO'

'What?' Leo said sounding a little annoyed and then seeing Piper on the floor he walked over to her 'Are you ok? What's wrong?'

'It's Prue and Phoebe, someone has them' she told him 'It was a demon and I tried to freeze him but it didn't work'

'Well we need to get up to the BoS and see what we can find' he said taking her hand and helping her up off the floor 'I'll orb us up there, saves a bit of time'

Piper smiled and put her arm around his waist as he orbed them up to the attic, as soon as they got there Piper took her arm from around his waist and walked over to the book to see if she could find anything useful. As she was looking she remembered what had happened at lunch that afternoon

'Oh my god, Leo I think that Mark has something to do with this' she said

'Mark? Who's Mark?' Leo asked sounding confused 'Is he some sort of demon?'

'No, he's like the man in charge of this charity thing for children. I was out for lunch with him and some of the others who offered their help and he was talking about something and he asked my opinion then after I gave my opinion he said something about Prue and Phoebe being kidnapped. I didn't think much of it until all this happened' Piper told Leo

'But if he has something to do with this then who is he? I mean he might be the demon who kidnapped them?' Leo said

'I don't know, all I know is that he said that and then this happened so that leads me back to thinking that he has something to do with all of this' Piper said going back to looking through the book then stopped at a certain page 'aha, this is the man that took them both'

Leo looked over her shoulder and read it out loud

'Aneso, the demon of here and now. This demon thrives on kidnapping witches and then torturing there loved ones until they come and try to rescue them, when that happens he takes that person hostage and then tortures them until they give themselves up and then he kills them and the witches that he kidnapped first' he stopped and looked at Piper she had gone white

'Leo, he can't do that' she said quietly 'that's not right'

Leo walked over to her and put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her into a hug

'It's going to be ok Piper' he said trying to comfort her 'I will be here for you and I will help you out through this'

Piper laid her head onto his chest and put her arms around his waist. She loved it when Leo was around; he always had a way to make her feel that everything was going to be all right.

'Leo we have to get them back, I couldn't live without them' she said finally 'I don't care what I have to do I will do it so that I can get them back'

Leo nodded his head and then let her go, she turned around and looked back at the book and started to flip through it until she found what she was looking for

'Leo, I have to do this on my own' she said turning to her white lighter 'but if you sense that anything is going wrong the orb in and help out. But only if I call you or you sense something is not right'

Leo nodded his head he knew that he couldn't say anything to change her mind so he just stepped back and let her do her thing.

Piper turned back to the book and started to read out the spell that would take her to her sisters

'Take me to the ones I love

She had just about finished reading out the spell when there was a sudden wind in the room and then a portal opened and a young female jumped through and landed on the floor face down not moving. Piper ran over to her and felt for a pulse and sighed when she found a strong one

'Leo, do you know who this is?' she asked

'No I don't sorry' he answered kneeling down next to Piper 'do you want me to go and see if they know anything about a strange visitor?'

'Yeah, but I really don't have time for this…can't you just look after her until I get back and then we will figure this out? I don't want to leave my sisters there any longer?' She asked

'I would like to but if you need me then I couldn't just leave her here' Leo replied as the girl started to cough and then sat straight up looking around her 'besides it looks like you might want to be here to find out who she is'

'Rmph' Piper groaned looking at the girl

'Hey it worked' the girl said in a very English accent 'I can't believe it actually worked'

'What worked? And why are you here?' Piper said getting up and giving the girl some space

'I cast a spell that would take me out of the past and into the future to my family' the girl replied 'ages ago I was sent there and I have been trying to get out of there ever since'

'So why here? And why now, We have no family besides us' Piper said looking at the girl with a strange look on her face

'Well I am here because I am related to you' the girl said getting up 'even if you don't believe it. My spells have never once not worked on me'

Piper looked at her in amazement, she seemed quite stubborn and so sure that this was the right place for her to be. She walked over to the book of shadows again and then looked back at the girl

'Well if you don't mind I have to go and save my sisters' she said

'Well I will come with you, by the looks of things you are going to need my help anyways' the girl said walking over to Piper

'Oh no you don't' she said picking up the book and walking away 'how do I know that you aren't some sort of demon just trying to get me in a trap?'

'Because if I was a demon I would have done something by now' she replied 'Come on you have got to believe me that I am not here to hurt you'

Piper looked at Leo for some help

'I don't know Piper, but I have to go because they are calling me' Leo said shaking his head 'I will be back as soon as I can'

'You can't just leave me here' she said looking straight at him

'Sorry' Leo replied and with that he orbed out

'So, seeming you are here you want a coffee or something?' Piper said deciding that she should try and act civil

'Yeah that would be nice' the girl agreed following Piper out the door and down to the kitchen

'So what's your name and how old are you?' Piper asked turning the kettle on

'Oh sorry, my name is Patricia but everyone just calls me Patty' she said 'and I am 19 years old'

'Patricia?' came a soft reply from Piper 'That was my mothers name'

'Really? That's so cool' Patty said with a smile 'I have always thought that there was someone special out there with the same name as me, and now I know who it was'

Piper smiled and turned back to the kettle as it whistled telling the whole world that it was ready, she quickly poured it into the mugs and then put milk in them and then handed one of them to Patty

'That's really nice of you Patty' Piper said trying to hold back the tears that threatened to spill over as she remembered her mother

They just sat there saying nothing drinking their coffee's for awhile until Leo orbed in and broke the silence

'Well I have some news, she is from the past' he started '1930 to be exact, and she is also your sister Piper'

'Wha…' Piper started 'How?'

'When she was born your father didn't know how to cope with having another child and so he went to the nearest witch he knew about and asked for her to do a spell sending her to the past so that no one knew about her' he said 'but the parents who took her in some how knew that she wasn't from their time and when she was old enough to understand they told her everything'

'But why would dad do that?' Piper said trying to take it all in

'I think that he was just scared' Leo helped 'he didn't know what to do and when your mother died he just lost it and then he did this'

'That's no reason to send someone into the past though' Piper said looking straight at Leo 'Well now that we know who she is can I go and save my, I mean our sisters?'

'Yeah, but you have to go with Patty because she is a witch also and you need to have all four of you there so that you can vanquish him' Leo told her

Piper looked at him and tried hard not to sigh and then quickly headed out of the kitchen and up to the attic telling Patty to follow her. Once in the attic she walked back over to the BoS and she and Patty quickly read the spell out this time finishing it

As they said the last words a wind circled them and they vanished and a few seconds later they were standing in the middle of a warehouse

'Where are we?' Piper mussed looking around the room 'I don't recognize anything'

She was just standing there when she heard a shuffling noise near and she looked in the direction of the noise and gasped as she saw her sisters tied to some chairs

'Prue, Phoebe' she said relieved that she had found them

She quickly went and untied them and then hugged them

'I'm so glad that you found us' Phoebe said standing back then noticing Patty for the first time she said 'Who is that?'

'Oh this is Patty, she apparently is our sister' Piper said 'Leo will explain when we get home'

Just then there was a loud bang and the lights came on revealing Mark standing near the door

'What a nice surprise' he said with a laugh 'Was it nice to see your sisters again?'

'What the hell?' Piper said 'So you did have something to do with this, I should have known'

'Yes, well I did make it quite obvious but I guess you were too distracted that day' he said walking closer to them 'Too bad that this had to happen though, I really liked you'

Piper was just about to say something when she felt herself being drawn by some unnatural force to Mark, she tried to pull herself away but that seemed to only make it worse

'Oh this will be fun' he said with an evil grin 'don't worry too much'

Piper looked at Mark and was about to turn around when she felt a pain in her foot that shot straight up her leg and finished in her head, she screamed out in pain and fell to the floor

'That was way too easy' Mark laughed picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder and turned and walked out of the room

'What are you going to do with my sisters?' Piper asked not even worrying about herself

'I hadn't thought that far' came the reply 'but I am sure something will come to my mind and then I will let you know'

Mark had tied Piper to a chair and was now out of the room talking to some of his demon helpers, while he was out there Piper sat there trying to get her hands out of the ropes, just as he walked back in her hands slipped free and she quickly threw them up and froze him and then ran out of the room and back to were her sisters were

'Piper are you ok?' Prue asked as she ran into the room

'I'm fine, he didn't do anything' she said 'but we have to get rid of him'

'I know, we were thinking that seeming we didn't know a vanquishing spell we should use the power of three' Phoebe said

Piper nodded and took hold of her sisters hands just as Mark ran into the room followed by some other demons

'How dare you try to escape' he yelled

Nothing happened for a couple of seconds and then Mark burst into flames

'Nooooo' he cried 'this can't happen, I am the all powerful'

The fire surrounded him for a couple more seconds and then it overcame him and he had vanished leaving no trace that he had even existed because about two minutes after he had vanished all the demons that were there to help him burst into flames and vanished

'Well you certainly don't see that everyday' Phoebe said as they walked outside and down to the road 'now just maybe someone will be kind enough to give us a ride home'

They didn't have to wait long because not two minutes after they had stood by the road a mini van pulled up and offered them a ride

'Thanks so much for that' Piper said as they all got out 'you have no idea how big a help that was'

The lady smiled and said she was just happy that she had been there when she was

Piper smiled back ad closed the car door and headed up to the manor and walked inside and found Prue and Phoebe giving Patty the 20 questions drill

'Chill you guys the best thing you can do is call Leo' Piper told them sitting down on the couch next to Patty

'Leo' Phoebe called and with that Leo orbed into the room and smiled

'I love seeing all of you together' he said sitting down on the lazy chair and relaxing out

'Well I like having us here' Prue said 'but you have to tell us about Patty here'

'Ok, I guess we can't keep anything from you guys for too long can we Piper?' Leo said with a laugh and then he went into the explanation

'So does that mean you are stuck here with us now?' Phoebe question Patty

'Yeah I guess it does, I said goodbye to my family in 1930 and so even if I could go back there wouldn't be any reason' she answered

'So I guess you have to live with us' Prue said clearly annoyed at not having any time to prepare anything 'Well that's cool you are just going to have to stay down here tonight because there isn't anyway that you are going to fit into the guest room'

Patty just nodded and smiled

'I will get you some blankets and a pillow and then I am going to head off to bed myself' Piper said looking at Prue with annoyance in her eyes

She walked up the stairs and into the linen closet and grabbed a few blankets and then after taking one of the many pillows off her bed she walked back down stairs and threw them on the sofa

'Sorry we don't have anything else to offer tonight' she apologized 'but this sofa is extremely comfortable so don't worry'

Piper said her goodnights and then headed up to her room for a good night's sleep that she felt she deserved. Just as she was about asleep she saw blue and white lights come into the room and she knew that Leo was there

'Leo, what are you doing here?' she asked turning over to face him

'I needed to talk to you' he said going and sitting on the end of her bed 'I can't hold this inside any longer'

'Hold what?' Piper asked curiously

'Piper, I love you' Leo said and before Piper could say anything he kept going 'I have loved you from the first day I laid eyes on you and I can't think of anything else'

'Oh Leo' Piper said after he had finished 'I have liked you for so long as well, I have just never known how to tell you'

Leo looked at her with all the love he felt for her in his eyes and smiled

'Piper you have no idea how wonderful this is for me' he said moving closer to her

'I think that I can imagine' Piper answered smiling and leaning forward to embrace Leo

Leo looked at her and smiled taking her in his arms and pulling her into a kiss that neither one of them wanted to stop but after a while they broke off and just sat there looking into each other's eyes

'I love you Piper Halliwell' Leo said caressing her face in his hands

'I love you too, Leo Wyatt' she said putting her hands up to her face and covering his hands with hers

They just sat there for a little while looking at each other until Leo looked up

'Oh damn' he said 'of all the times'

'What? Did they call you?' Piper asked disappointment crossing her face immediately

'Yeah, I have to go' he said looking back at Piper 'I am so sorry, but I will come back as soon as I can'

'I understand' Piper said 'Go before they get too upset'

Leo nodded and after kissing her one last time he orbed out and left her sitting on her bed thinking over what had just happened.
