- What is Charmed?
Charmed is a drama about three sisters, Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) reuniting to live in a San Francisco home that's been in the family for generations. The sisters soon learn of the history of witchcraft in their family and discover their own special magical abilities. Prue has the power to move objects (telekinesis), Piper can stop time, and Phoebe can see into the future. Together they are known as the Charmed Ones and will protect the innocent and all that is good.
- Where can I get a copy of the original pilot?
The original pilot was completed and was shown at the Television Critics Association in the summer of 1998, so there may be copies circulating around. It's currently unknown if it was shown in a test market to see if there would be any public interest before it debuted nationwide in October of 1998. Going by another Spelling series, 90210, where an actor was replaced and parts of the show were redone before the series was first aired nationwide, it's unlikely Spelling Inc. will release the original pilot for public viewing. Spelling has yet to release that original version of 90210.
- Where can I get a copy of a certain episode?
Not from me. I do not have any way of copying my Charmed tape collection and I will not loan my tapes to anyone. So please don't ask. You can however, try asking on the message board on this site, see the link on the left side of your browser window. Someone may be willing to make you a copy for the cost of the video tape and shipping. Just be careful when dealing with people that you don't know, some people may just take your money and not deliver. If possible don't send cash, use a personal check so you can possibly track the person down if they cheat you.
