Version 0.92

The freeware application that lets you create your own libraries !

RF21 was designed when I needed a program offering the functions that are missing on most calculators: like the Gamma function, the error integral, the cumulative Binomial distribution. But since there is always something missing one would like to see – I added support for user defined functions. So you can create and permanently install all kinds of functions: single- or multivalued, composed of one or several formulae, computed by simple evaluation, by recursion or by numeric integration, or by the Runge-Kutta method. Add comments and save your functions to libraries! Then use them as building blocks for more advanced functions. The program will find, load and reassemble each user function (including user defined components) whenever a call to that function is issued. All you have to do is remember the function name.

Need computation power for big datatypes ?

Try the calculator that lets you handle conveniently matrices,
polynomials and power series:

version 1.2
brings together types and algorithms in an integrated environment !
MA.EXE is freeware for mathematicians and students of any field taking advanced mathematics classes. It has absorbed the material of several programs that I once used to experiment with numeric algorithms.

Putting all this under a common roof has resulted in a versatile and easy to use big-object calculator:

Types
  • matrix
  • polynomial
  • power series
  • fourier series
  • set of complex roots
  • plain number sequence
Features
  • A complete arithmetic for power series including composition and reversion
  • solves different types of  linear equation systems
  • finds polynomial roots
  • characteristic polynomial of a matrix
  • standard matrix numerics such as: Inversion, transformation, diagonalization, eigenvalues, eigenvectors (both real and complex)
  • substitution of polynomials and power series into each other, and of matrices into both
  • fourier transformation
  • Chebyshev and Legendre polynomials
Features Description
MA.EXE is as mathematical as an application can get. It accommodates the needs of those who like to experiment with mathematical objects and algorithms, and want to comment and save their findings. It includes extensive on-line help and a written hands-on tutorial.
.
Restrictions:

- Program and documentation are available in German only.
- This is a plain DOS-application.
- This freeware version is restricted to matrices of maximum size 8x8, and to polynomials of maximum grad 14. There are no further restrictions. Those mentioned are trying to get you interested in the full version.
