CHARTS OF LINEAGES

An Ahnentafel chart is arranged by generations and each person has a unique number that shows the child-parent relationship. The chart always begins with the first generation. The number assigned to the father is equal to the number of the child times two. The number assigned to the mother is equal to the number of the father plus one. Some examples: Child "1" would have a father "2" and a mother "3". Child "8" would have a father "16" and a mother "17". If numbers are missing on the Ahnentafel chart then it can be assumed that particular person has not yet been identified.
