NOTE: Most of the above lights were shipped with the 4416 series sealed beam lamp. Later the 4464 series was introduced. This lamp was 60 watts compared to the 4416's 30 watts, followed by the 7400 series lamp which has a focused lens and emits 35 watts of power. Many sealed beam lamps were available and a common mistake made was using the incorrect lamp. The best lamp is one which when mounted in the holder produces a verticle line of light thus causing a sharper 'flash' as it is rotated. Some bulbs produce circular or wide light patterns which do not produce a noticable 'flash'. Another thing is that the longer the verticle beam of the light, the better the 'flash' is when viewed at angles above and below the light.
