Home of the Loveland Road Runners
The Loveland Road Runners is a running club dedicated to providing fun, challenging and varied opportunities for the running community in northern Colorado.
The Fort Collins Old Town Marathon will give a $5 discount to club members. Be sure to mention that you are a part of the Road Runners when you sign up!
Seven members of the Youth Road Runners ran in the Footlocker Regionals in Wisconsin Saturday. No results yet. The runners are Kevin Buecher, Daryl Holmlund, Brett Wilson, Eric Love, Carson Bruns, Kayla Jablonski, adn Doug Peer.

The Saturday Run for December 1st is Cathy Fromme Prairie Trail. Meet at the trailhead at 8:00am.
Sunday Lake Loop!
Don't forget the Sunday run around Lake Loveland. Every Sunday we meet at North Lake Park at 11:30 am to run. The loop around the lake is about 4 miles.

Running Trivia
November 13th question: When Alan Webb broke the national high school record for the mile May 27th of this year he ran 3:53.43. Whose record did he beat, what was the time and when was it set?
Joni Horst was the first to answer Jim Ryun in 1965. She gave his time as about 3:56. The actual time was 3:55.3 which was close enough. Frank Dominguez had the correct answer shortly afterward.
November 24th question. Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie has recently been guaranteed 350,000 Pounds (Engilsh currency) if he wins next year's London Marathon in world record time. What is his marathon personal best?
