Hallicrafters S-38B Receiver
Remember When all homes had a Hallicrafters Shortwave radio?
Heres a close-up of the S-38B receiver dial.
This radio was one of a bunch, starting with the S-38 in 1947 through the S-38E in about 1961. It ran on AC-DC and all tubes filiments were strung together and totaled 117 VAC.
Ah, the ever popular S-120 Hallicrafters Receiver, This was a very much produced entry level receiver!
