MCDONALD'S AS A SYMBOL OF AMERICAN WORLD DOMINATION

American military power reigns supreme and unchallenged. Our arsenal of nuclear Armageddon keeps the nations of the world at bay.

American economic power reigns supreme and unchallenged. American currency is imprinted with the motto "In God We Trust." How ironic that the Almighty Dollar that we trust in is imprinted with such a blatant lie. The Christian god as been consigned to the nether regions of American fundamentalism. The American dollar is the coin of the realm the world over.

American popular culture reigns supreme and unchallenged. The nations of the world hate Americans. The nations of the world love American culture. American culture is world culture. American pop culture is king. All other countries are totally irrelevant paupers.

McDonald's is the symbol of American power and hegemony. The Golden Arches have sprouted like weeds all over the world. Even in the seemingly infertile grounds of communism and socialism you will see the ubiquitous Golden Arches.

McDonald's employs more people than the mighty steel industry. McDonald's is one of the world's largest employers. McDonald's is the quintessential symbol of American capitalism. A handful of McDonald's corporate bigwigs rake in the millions, while the vast army of McDonald's workers slave for subsistence wages. You just can't find a more fitting symbol of America's rotten economic system.

McDonald's goodwill ambassador is a clown by the name of Ronald McDonald. They could not have chosen a more appropriate spokesperson. Ronald McDonald must be laughing his fool head of every time you consume a calorie laden Big Mac or gulp a chemically enriched Coke.

As a child I was terrified of clowns. There is nothing endearing or heartwarming about a clown with his garishly painted face. A clown is a symbol of evil. A clown is a harbinger of evil days to come. I avoid clowns like the plague. I avoid McDonald's like the plague.

American cultural domination is complete. We don't plant our flag in other countries to assert our authority; we just erect under McDonald's. The American Century is now the McDonald's millennium.
