My FASA Pages

Hello! Welcome to my collection of old FASA supplements and game aids. These pages represent many thousands of hours of work over a number of years. I have items here for Battletech© and the Star Trek™ Role Playing Game.

Almost all of my work is with Microsoft Excel 97© and is required to use most anything I have here. If you don't have it, you can still look at most of what I've done because the pages themselves are direct copies of the worksheets. (though they aren't interactive... the data entry pages are just screenshots so you can see what they look like... I don't have time to code very complex math in HTML!)

I've tried to document everything about my work as well as I can, but if something is unclear drop me a line and I'll see about fixing it. Any questions about this page or my game aids should be sent here with the subject clear enough to let me know that it's not just junk mail. (something like "Question about your Starship Creator" or similar)

Please don't e-mail me to tell me "Hey, build me this." or "Your game aids suck!" If you have a good suggestion for a new game aid or a critique of my exiting ones, please be adult about it and describe the idea or problem. I'm not interested in flame wars or slaving over an idea that won't help me or my players.

All of my game aids require that you already have a working knowledge of the related game and have the game books to consult for reference. If you don't have them, I can't help you. Look for them on E-Bay or something.

Battletech Unit Creator Program

This is a program for creating 'Mechs, Vehicles, and Aerospace fighters in Classic Battletech. It is totally my creation, with some bugfixes pointed out by some CBT.com helpers, and are in no way official. It's not very useful for printing Record Sheets, but it does print very professional TRO pages. It's a work in progress, so look back here often for updates.

Battletech Infantry Creator Program

This is a program for creating Infantry Platoons using the rules outlined in Combat Operations. NOTE! You must own Combat Ops to use this program! This is not a request... to activate the program for actual use, you MUST type a certain passage from the book into the sheet to unlock it. You can mess around with the features without the unlock, but it won't calculate the damage bar without the key. BUY THE BOOK! It's really worth it...

Battletech 5 ton Mech Construction Program

This is a program and information on creating and using 5 ton Mechs in Classic Battletech. These are totally MY creation and are in no way official.

Battletech Spaceship Construction Program

This program is based on the wonderful Battlespace Ship Creator for Excel by J. Scott. I have added many new features, including assigning weapon arcs, system breakdown tables and much more. (major revision coming soon)

Used to aid in creating a Starfleet Character. Includes a separate page with an automated "Character History" listing.

Star Trek Starship Creator

This program allows construction of nearly any Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Orion, Gorn, and now Tholian* ships. It's based on the rules from the Star Trek Ship Construction Manual and allows you to print out Master Control Panels for ships you create.

* The technical specifications for Tholian vessels were created solely by me and reflect many hours of research and picking apart the few episodes the were seen or mentioned in. They are also a work in progress, so check back for updates.
