Main Page Intro Version History Ship Data Master Control Panel

For those interested, I did not retain the previous versions of this sheet and Version 2.3 is the first public posting of this sheet. Here is the version history of this document for informational purposes. (* indicates a non-FASA rule implemented by me)
Version 0.0 Basic blank Master Control Panel designed for printing rather than photocopying.
Version 0.1 Redesign to automate basic system installation.
Version 0.2 Introduced auto-display for stress charts.
Version 0.3 *Implemented "Warp Speed Power Available" function.*
Version 0.4 Power Tracks automated to display only significant boxes.
Version 0.5 *Partial re-write to combine all functions onto a single Master Control Panel, removing the "per turn" tracking.*
Version 1.0 Major re-write to fully automate ship construction. Does not include Movement point ratio selection or Warp Speed which must be entered manually. Fully implemented are:
Weapon selection, arc assignments, and fully dynamic display on the Master Control Panel.
Inclusion of the "Ship Data" information entry page.
*Fully interactive component permission, allowing the mixing of multi-racial systems, such as a Federation Warp Drive controlled by a Klingon Control Computer.*
Crew Requirement and *Shuttlecraft recommendation* included.
Transporter Services included; *weight and cost system is devised and implimented.*
Shield and Cloaking Device selection fully implemented.
Version 1.1 *Warp drive systems are combined into a single drive system. "Port Warp Engine" hits are now assigned to "Warp Engine" hits and "Port Nacelle" hits. Likewise for Starboard Warp Engine hits.*
Version 1.2 Autocalculation of D, WDF, and CE implemented. *Weight of Required Superstructure reduced to 500 mt per point. (this permitted the construction of many more ship designs from the Ship Recognition Manuals)*
Version 1.25 *Included a calculator for converting Reference Stardate to Corrected Stardate. (see the note on the "Ship Data" page for further info on this function)*
Version 1.5 Partial re-write of Warp and Impulse drive system to automate Movement Point Ratio. Warp Speeds must still be manually entered. *Extra Superstructure weight reduced to 1,000 mt. (permits the design of nearly all of the Ship Recognition Manual designs)*
Version 1.6 *Weapon WDFs for non-Romulan weapons on a cloaked vessel are calculated and included. This may make many Ships in the Klingon Ship Recognition Manuals invalid due to underpowered computers. The obvious solution is simply a computer upgrade.*
Version 1.7 Minor rewrite to automate Warp Speed Calculation.
Version 1.75 Redesign of Master Control Panel to include all of the "Ship Data" information. Included are: Transporters, Control Computer type, Length, Width, Height, Weight, Cargo Capacity, and Landing Capability.
Version 1.8 2nd MCP Re-design to include Damage Charts. *Damage Charts altered to allow for Ships with only a single Nacelle, or with no Warp Drive at all.*
Version 1.9 *Implemented Optional Torpedoes Remaining Track.* Included Passengers, Troops, and Shuttlecraft on the Master Control Panel. Redesigned MCP to allow inclusion of Department Heads and their key skills. *Cloaking Device system is re-written, removing "Device Types" and replacing them with "Generation". (see notes on the "Ship Data" page for further information)*
Version 1.95 Included documentation and minor bug fixes.
Version 2.0 Further bug fixes and page arrangements following playtesting.
Version 2.1 *Changed Warp Speed 'Power Available' function to 'Power Required' (easier to understand)*
Version 2.2 Automated WDF Calculations to permit additions of new weapons. *Added Next Gen. Warp Drive Systems*
Version 2.25 Further bug fixes and extended Info Page information.
Version 2.3 *Added Tholian technology base.* Further Bug fixes. Added componant date system.
