Welcome to Herb Philpott's scrapbook for the Reagle Players' production of...

1776 Logo

In the show I played Roger Sherman, the "simple cobbler from Connecticut" and member of the Declaration of Independence drafting committee. As such, I got a few lines in the show and got to sing "Sit Down, John" and "But, Mr. Adams." It was a modest role, but still a challenge since this is the first theater I've done since fifth grade, and a great honor and thrill to perform with the Equity Actors and Reagle regulars.

While just doing the show has been a great reward for me, the nice reviews are encouraging, too:

The show had it's final performance on Saturday, June 23rd, for an enthusiastic full house!

What's new:

This song is my big solo. It's a fun song with some playful exchanges and a little dancing.
