Goode Wraps have developed a new solution for muscle cramps. The product has been clinically tested at five major Universities
Chronic Muscle Cramps Do your muscles feel "tight," especially in the morning? Do you always need to stretch with constant aches and pains in your neck, low back and hips? Do you feel old and stiff with morning fatigue, sleeping problems and many tender spots? Cramping during sleep is usually due to an exaggeration of a normal muscle reflex. When you turn during sleep, you contract your calf muscles and stretch their tendons. This stimulates nerve stretch receptors in the tendon and sends a message back to the spinal cord, telling the calf muscles to contract. Sometimes, the muscles remain contracted and hurt. Painful muscle cramps at night can also be caused by pinched nerves, a partially-obstructed flow of blood to the legs and abnormal mineral or hormone levels, so if you have this problem, check with your doctor. If you do not have a serious cause, you can often prevent night cramps by exhausting the stretch reflex before you go to bed by stretching your calf muscles with wall pushups/ and applying a heating pad for 10 minutes before you go to sleep. The only drug that has been shown to be effective in treating night-time leg cramps is quinine, but the Food and Drug Administration has ruled that none of the over-the-counter drugs used to treat night-time leg cramps are recognized as safe or effective and therefore, will be subject to regulatory action. Doctors often prescribe 1 or 2 quinine pills at bedtime, but they can cause birth defects and miscarriages, so they should never be taken by a pregnant woman. They can also cause ringing in the ears, headache, nausea, disturbed vision, chest pain and asthma"> Goode Wraps Visit The Manufacturers' Home Site For Online Ordering Through Secure Form or Call 1-888-972-7200, if we are not here leave a message. Goode Wraps are available for the foot, ankle, knee, hip, back, elbows, shoulder, wrist and fingers. In fact, the semiconductors can be added to almost any cloth like material. What are they used for? Primarily to control pain and swelling by relaxing muscles. They are ideal for tired aching muscles or joints from sporting activity, exercise and repetitive stress injuries. The Goode Wraps help the muscles regain strength and prevent or lessen the sharp pain in joints from tendon stress

Pilot Study for Delayed Onset Syndrome in Quadriceps
Effects of Goode Wraps on Peak Muscle Torque and Integrated EMG Activity
Enweneka et al. (1997) conducted a pilot study with five subjects to determine the effects of Goode Wraps Cones on the performance of normal and sore quadriceps muscle groups. One portion of the study measured the pain experience in this muscle group related to muscle soreness resulting from overuse. The researchers applied cones and identical placebo with adhesive patches to these muscles. Induction of muscle soreness in the dominant leg occurred by stepping up on an aerobic step that was 110% of the lower leg length while carrying an additional load of 10-15% of body weight. The procedure was repeated for up to 10 minutes or until the subjects were unable/unwilling to continue exercising. After 24-48 hours, the subjects rated intensity of soreness on a scale from 0-10. The authors' preliminary reports supported the effectiveness of Goode Wraps Cones in reduction of muscle pain compared to the placebo group.
