Kirby VanBurch Performs Magic in Branson

Millions of people in 23 countries have been amazed and thrilled by Kirby's Magic Show. He performs "The Magic of Branson" daily at his theater, The Palace of Mystery. Tricks and illusions are not the only magic he performs. Everyday Kirby performs magic in the lives of children, impacting them in positive and productive ways!

Kirby is not only a great magician, but he is also a great humanitarian. Kirby believes that God has blessed him in many ways, with many blessings. He believes that to be a good steward of God's blessings, he in turn must give of himself. Kirby models this conviction by giving of his time, his talents, and his monies to his community and throughout the world.

Kirby has a special place in his heart for children. He is very active in supporting the youth of Taney and Stone Counties. One example of this support is his serving on the Lake Country Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors. He is very active in promoting and supporting the Boys and Girls Club movement. The last two years he has been Master of Ceremonies at the Steak & Burger Dinner and Auction, an annual fund raiser to secure operating costs for the clubs. Kirby is also the auctioneer when K-Mart has their yearly auction to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs. On occasion, he has dedicated ticket sales from his Magic Show to support the day to day operations of the Clubs.

Kirby has also supported the development of children by associating himself with and giving a helping hand to other worthy organizations. The Boys Scouts, Girls Scouts, local libraries, Tony Orlando's Yellow Ribbon Scholarship Fund, and the Branson Band are just a few organizations he has impacted in a positive way. Kirby is also a positive role model and representative of the Fox Kids Club. In his public service announcement he emphasizes the importance of developing hobbies and interests in the lives of young children. Kirby even explores the possibility of magic as a hobby for children to pursue!

Another project near and dear to Kirby's heart is helping animals. Through his efforts and support he has helped the Humane Society in Reeds Springs in tremendous ways. Giving of his time, he is the official spokesperson for the "Adopt a Pet" program. A project where a local newspaper publishes a story about an animal up for a adoption with a picture of Kirby holding the pet. He has helped established Kirby's Young Explorers Club at the Boys and Girls Club. This is a project to actively engage children in the exploration of the role we each play in the delicate balance of nature. One of the goals of this project is to educate children about endangered species.

Kirby holds a government license from the United States Department of Interior for his endangered animal's projects. This is the highest license that the government gives to people owning endangered animals. Governed by strict regulations, this license identifies and characterizes Kirby's strong conviction and passion he holds for the protection of these endangered animals. Kirby's goal is to establish educational programs to identify and create community and global awareness of the imminent dangers facing some of earth's most wild and beautiful creatures, the endangered animal. He also hopes to start a breeding program in Branson, Missouri for the White Bengal Tiger. Through Branson's White Tiger Foundation, we hope to fulfill that dream!
