Today God got a bright new star, but Twiggy's wondering where you are?

You are so sweet, good and kind; such wonderful memories you've left behind.

You will be missed for your sweet ways; and Twigs will miss you for so many days.

But Dolly is playing in Heaven above, and remembering all her friends with love.

She's suffering no more that's for sure, and will wait for Twigs at Heaven's door.

"I'm with my Dad, Mom, and Uncle BoBo, and all my family that's here you know.

"So tuck me away so deep in your heart, and no one forever will ever part.

"And to make my human Mom's task easier to bear, I decided my own destiny."

Dolly was a tall, elegant lady who is a true reflection of her heritage. Both her sire and dam were ABC Top 20 Contenders, and both are Sire/Dam of Merit. Additionally, Dolly's full brother, Ch. Bayview Strides Ahead SOM LOM, is also a 2-time Top 20 Contender. Dolly was shown to her championship by Lynda and finished at 18 months of age with 3 majors. Her very best friend was her side-kick, Twiggy (Ch. Skidoo's "N" Rosend's Keepsake). Where you saw one, you saw the other, and usually found trouble. They were a pair and so devoted to each other. I don't know that I will see that kind of a relationship between two girls ever again.

Dolly produced two champions:

Dolly was cleared of SAS by a board-certified cardiologist, OFA (cardiac) BX-CA97/35F/C.

Dolly left this world much too early. She had a perforated and tangled bowel, causing her to go septic. With all the powers of a great vet and many technicians, she still could not be saved, eventually succumbing to peritonitis. Twiggy lost her lifelong buddy and soul mate, but has now joined Dolly on the bridge. Jerry and I have lost a great companion. She has left our home, but remains in our heart forever. Goodnight sweet Dolly.
