Sean at 2 weeks
Sean was born at 3:17 am on March 17th, 1998, screaming his head off and boasting a full head of strawberry blond hair. It was a long, unmedicated, informed labor that culminated in an emergency c-section. We did our best, but at 9lbs 2oz and 22 inches, Sean was just a bit more than could be handled.

Seanie-Sean began smiling at 1 month. He was a very early laugher He first laughed on his daddy's birthday, April 29th, 1998. He's been yukking it up ever since. His favorite things to laugh at are his mom and dad, his dogs (Bodhi and JoJo), the "clap-clap" game, Mom's tongue, and the tickle-monster
Sean (da bomb) began rolling over at 2 months. He started sitting unassisted at 3 1/2 months. He's now a pro--walking everywhere, running from one thing to another. Sean's a Monkey boy, for sure--he want's to climb EVERYTHING!! We've given up fighting it--we just pile blankets and pillows at the foot of the sofa and let him go to town.
Sean's favorite games include "bye-bye" (a form of Peek-a-boo), "Can I have that?" (a game of give and take), and "Here, Mom--taste this!" (wow, the things little boys think taste good--YUCK!).
Sean loves to fly, ride his rocking zebra, take a bath with mom or dad, and chew on toes (something we'll have to put a stop to, I know). His favorite foods are fresh peaches, sweet potatoes, carrots, "nanners" (bananas), and arrowroot cookies. He has decided that the vacuum is his enemy--he runs from it when it's "awake" and beats up on it when it's "asleep." His favorite books are "Sheep in a Jeep," "Monster at the End of this Book," and "Pat the Bunny."

Sean's vocabulary at one year includes "Hi!" "Bye!" "Bye Daddy!" "Momma" "NO!!" "Yay!" "Hey" "DoDo" (his version of JoJo), "DAT!" (that), "DER!" (there), and "Nana" (grandma).
A big Sean smile--6 months
Some of Sean's favorite things are JoJo licks (JoJo is our 130 pound Redbone Coonhound/Lab mix), sweet potatoes, his Little People Garage (that was supposed to be a birthday gift--oops!), flying (with a little help from mom and dad), yanking hair, sleeping on his mom, clapping mom's hand, singing songs, helping to mow the lawn, going hiking, and dancing with daddy. Some new favorites are his "playpen" (a cardboard box that he loves to stand in,) trying to eat grass, "boogying" to music, and banging on EVERYTHING. I just don't get it--LOL!! His new favorite game is "thank you"--he waves a toy around, then places it in my hands. I say "Thank you!", he cackles, then takes it back to start again. Sean loves to ride his rocking zebra--he hops on and rocks for all he's worth. Sean's favorite songs are "Clementine," "Little Brown Jug," "Alouette," "Frere Jacques," and "Oh, Susanna!" He is also partial to Bizet's "Carmen" and Beethoven's 9th, 4th movement.
