As far as guides to Monkees areas on the internet:  Melhi's Monkees Newbies Tour is a guided tour of the Monkees Mailing List (there is a link to a page about other Monkees-related mailing lists here.   Flamingo's Monkees Web Site FAQ or Hooloovoo's Monkees FAQs may help you get oriented to the rest of online fandom.  One of the Monkees web rings would also be a good place to get started.  The best way to keep current with all of them is to go to the web ring home page and do a search for the keyword Monkees.  I have put several individual web ring listings on The Monkees Webrings Page elsewhere on this site.

The MonkeesAlert List is a low-traffic electronic mailing list designed to provide up-to-date info to fans as it becomes available.  This is only designed to provide information - subscribers aren't able to post directly to it.

Those who don't want to subscribe to a mailing list can send a blank e-mail every week or so to the auto-responder at:  monkee_news@flexquarters.com, although this is mostly personal appearance and concert dates, while the MonkeeAlert list provides a wider variety of news.
