RAVEN STAR our science-fiction role-playing game has a balance of high-tech fiction and fantasy combined in a setting of a wild space-colony frontier. The players can customize their characters by choosing from different alien races, enhance themselves with cutting-edge cybernetics and learn various skills including lethal martial art styles and powerful magic.
The space frontier was colonized faster than it could be policed by the central governments, resulting in profitable opportunities for frontiersmen; similar to the American wild west frontier of the late 1800’s. The RAVEN STAR adventures involve bounty-hunting fugitives and expeditions rewarding fortune and glory for anyone willing to face the challenges of the frontier.
The game mechanics for Raven Star are designed to be simple and streamlined, making the game-pace faster while still retaining simulated realism. The game requires only the 20 and 6 sided dice to play.
Raven Star Software: We have also included with the game book The Raven Star Character Generator, a computer software which creates the Character Sheet, a data form, of the characters which are used in the role-playing games. This software is a great tool to aid in setting up game scenarios.
