Greater Cincinnati Jet Fly 2000

If it happens once every ten years, I can't complain. The weather for this year's event was horrible. And not for just one day - almost the entire weekend was a washout! The only good flying was from about 11 AM Saturday until shutdown at 5 PM. Those who held out and braved the weather put on some great flying for the sparse crowd which also stuck it out. We had 30 registered pilots, down 10 from last year. But considering the forecast for the weekend, this was a great turnout.
New to our event this year were some electric fans. These "little" jets performed outstandingly, even with the gusty winds. We hope to have more of the electrics at next year's event. Thanks to Kyosho and The Electric Jet Factory for donating 4 electric jet kits to our event. The pilots were all heard commenting on how they would like to get their hands on one of these kits.

The following awards were given out to the pilots:

AWARD (SPONSOR) PILOT/PLANE
