Opening Throat Energy

Do this practice morning and evening and also throughout the day whenever problems arise and negative emotions begin to stir. You may find that better thoughts come forth, ideas become clearer, and communication improves. Nervous tension gives way to a calm and sharp presence that is both pleasant and highly energized.


Relax tension throughout the body and let the body grow very calm. Let go of any worrying or negative imaginations and let the mind rest in silence as much as possible. Now invite a soft warm breath into the throat. Let it spread to the back of the neck, and to the head at eye level. Gradually let this warm energy flow in a ring through and around the head and throat, loosening blockages. Imagine that you are massaging the warmth from within, until the head and throat feel as though they are floating in feeling.
