What is the secret behind our sound?
The Live Room here at The Reel has a secret. The room has been analyzed
at all points, and is flat anywhere you are in it. Similar to the effect you would
achieve if you produced sound in a large wide open space such as a field.
If you were standing in the middle of the field and produced sound,
there would be only one dimension for reflection: the ground. All of
the sound would have as natural of a reproduction as possible with
natural decay, and nothing added to color the sound. This is the same
effect that occurs in the Live Room here at The Reel. The sound is crisp,
natural, flat, and untouched by reflections. No need for floating floors
as the foundation is layered concrete throughout. Our famous secret
sound can only be found here at THE REEL.
