Romantic Times Inc. was founded in 1981 by Kathryn Falk.
RT, as it is affectionately called, began as a 24-page, newspaper style bi-monthly newsletter and now flourishes as a glossy 128-page monthly magazine with a distribution of over 135,000.

I enjoy being around Kathryn.
Her energy is infectious, she tells remarkable stories, and she has a heart as big as the all outdoors.
Her humor is subtle and sharp, and like a good English satire, sometimes the comment goes over my head.

Please let me know what books you enjoyed the past 14 months.

Last October, we had the pleasure of attending the the Romantic Times Book Lovers Convention in Baton Rouge. Enjoy some of the writers, readers, cover models and publishers we met, including Anne Rice, Heather Graham, Steve Sandalis, new Mr. Romance Mark Johnson, and thousands more.
Fun in Baton Rouge!

I also had a chance to spend some time with my good friend, Jeanne Montague, English historical novelist.

In her honor, I have given her a fan page of her own with a list of her books and a few pictures.

As a reviewer, I pester editor Kathe Robin to send me time travels, English historicals, medievals, gothics, and Native American novels to review. My favorite era is 17th century England, before and after the Restoration.
As a reader, I want to take something into me when I read a book, whether it's something to learn and use, a meaningful quote that stays with you, or a love story that tears your heart.
As a reviewer, I love a twist on the old theme, a well-weaved story, and a feeling the author loved her characters.
