BC KFS Winona Mieke (ApHC 523767) 1993 mare
Winnie is a bold and beautiful blanketed blue roan mare bred on the traditional foundation of the Pacific Northwest Appaloosa. Winnie moves in smoothly powerful flowing gaits. Bred by Arita Harwood, using horses from programs such as John and Alice Pratt, available locally in Oregon. Winnie carries the gold gene, making her a "smoky", a gene she got from her close up Chief Chelsea breeding. Winnie is 100% FPD, and carries the bloodlines of Kemo's Fire Shadow, twice to Chief Chelsea, Navajo Britches, Arab Toswirah Alkhar, Simcoe's Sarcee, three times to Leopard Cortez and his sire Morgan's Leopard, twice to Red Eagle, and also to the Toby horses.

MS Navajo Minx (ApHC 556800) 1996 mare
Minx is named for both the fictional horse, Black Minx, written of by Walter Farley, and for the foundation Appaloosa stallion who shows up twice in her pedigree, Navajo's Candy. She represents both those concepts, being athletic and colored. A very nice moving mare, she moves in a smooth lateral gait at times. Minx was born a loud snowcap to her shoulders from two Leopard parents, she has roaned off to a few-spot. Her color production has been 100% to date, from a limited number of foals, but we feel confident that it will continue on as such. Minx has a 90% FPD, and carries the bloodlines of Chief Navajo, Candy, Colida, Peavy Bimbo, Prince Plaudit, Joker B., Gumbo Ladd Chaco, Bright Eyes' Brother, and Top Hat H.

Fourmiles Marnee & Fourmiles Dazy Doll (ApHC)
1998 & 1999 mares
Marnee and Daisy recently joined our program. They are 3/4 sisters sired by the foundation bred stallion Fourmiles Stormy, now standing at Eric Beene`'s Southern Winds Ranch in Mississippi. Stormy is a son of the World Champion Performance horse and Hall of Fame member, Chief of Fourmile. The mares are out of mother and daughter, making them closer than half sisters. They were bred by Rainbow Valley Appaloosas in Wisconsin. Both mares derive directly from Sam Fisher and original Nez Perce stock, with a dash of Thoroughbred. Along with Chief of Fourmile, they carry the bloodlines of Storm Cloud F., Riley's Purple Doll, Kamiak Trixie (full sister to Toby I), Mt. Baldy's Holy Smoke (star of Walt Disney's Run Appaloosa Run), Red Eagle, and the Marcus Crowley Appaloosas. All the Appaloosas in their pedigrees are blanketed. Both mares sport the sweetest dispositions along with rugged athleticism.
